Bought 3 of these to upgrade my battlestation and couldnt be more pleased. It is like that time you went from a mechanical harddrive to a solid state harddrive and your world changed. Good future proof monitor for when cards could actually hit these kind of FPS so I expect these to last for a good 4 years. I guess you could go buy a 120hz monitor but, 240hz is gonna be better no matter how you think about it and these monitors have some of the slimmest bezels. Side by side its about an inch. Eyefinity works great with this setup as does games that support spreading across 3 monitors like PoE or WoW. These monitors also auto adjust to what you are doing such as watching a movie, gaming, browsing etc so they pretty much hit everything I wanted in a monitor. See the picture and welcome to my new world I live in =)

The Monitor is replacing a 120hz Alienware that was 8 years old and finally gave out. This new one is ever better. I have a gtx 1080 FE and when I booted into win 10 it was at 60hz and no option inside the Nvidia control panel to go higher, it only listed 60hz and 50hz. I thought maybe the HDMI could not do 240hz but its 2.0b so it should. I had to right click on desktop and go to WINDOWS display settings (not nvidia) from there at the bottom choose "Display Adapter Properties" then click "List All Modes" You will see an extended list that is not https://www.amazon.com/gp/css/order-history/ref=nav_nav_orders_firstin the Nvidia control panel settings. From there you can select 1920x1080 32 bit 240 hz. You will know you are in 240hz by moving the mouse in a circle on the desktop quickly. You will see a circle of mouse pointers that are touching each other (like 80 of them). If its in 60hz and move the mouse fast in a circular motion you will see maybe 8 pointers and they will be separated by like an inch. I almost took a star off due to the poor shipping. They put it in a box 2x the size of the internal box with no filler. So it was just bouncing around inside about 1 foot back and forth. It seems to be intact so Im keeping it. But come on shippers. And dont worry about getting Gsync over the Free Sync. If you have a good video card like a 1070 just play games with Vsync OFF and run the panel at 240hz. Screen tearing at 240 hz is nil and your games do not have to be running at 240 fps. Its looks great with the game running at 50fps 100 fps etc. Vsync and Gsync and free sync are sort of gimmicks, you dont really need them. People that play FPS that are fast like Quake, Unreal Tourney etc. You will have far less mouse lag, input lag etc if you run the game with Vsync OFF. I took a star off due to its edge bleed on all 4 sides. About 1/2" of brighter bleed through on dark scenes in movies and games. My IPS monitors do not have any edge bleed. Not sure its on ALL of them or maybe mine got damaged in shipping.

Best monitor out there IMO, i got this one on discount too, cause it had a minor scratch somewhere on it! I Still cant find it though, came in original packaging as well, no components unwrapped. NOTE to people using 240hz, this monitor has HDMI 2.0 on both HDMI ports and is DisplayPort 1.2 compliant. Make sure your GPU has these ports aswell, you will need HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort 1.2 on your GPU to use 240hz. The cable will not matter, but you cannot use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable, as this limits the monitor to 60hz. The HDMI cable that is included is made well and should support this. Sadly it does not come with a DisplayPort cable despite DisplayPort being better.

This monitor is amazing! 240Hz really does feel buttery smooth. I upgraded from 144Hz to 240Hz as I play a lot of CS:GO, and it is well worth it! Included with the monitor is an HDMI cable that supports 240Hz, if your GPU can handle it. Im running on a GTX 1070 and it handles 240Hz with ease. Very happy with the purchase!

This monitor has been a pleasure to use and is one of the best-looking high refresh rate monitors that Ive gotten my hands on thus far. Paired with a higher-end card such as the GTX 1070, the Alienware 25 is an excellent choice for those with a moderate budget. The Good: - Great build quality. Its sleek bezels add significant flare to my setup, and even looks good from the back! - Has a great color configuration out-of-the-box, especially for a 240hz monitor. - Its not OLED, but this monitor has a seriously great looking TN panel. - Has one of the best looking on-screen configuration menus I have seen. - Excellent viewing angles. - Has a surprisingly capable USB hub. The Bad: - The monitor is relatively heavy. Some lower-end VESA mounts may not be able to support it. - The VESA mount is slightly recessed into the back of the monitor, making it difficult to attach to some mounts without damaging the monitor. The Ugly: - The adhesive at the bottom of the monitor became visible in less than a week, making it look like there is a build-up of dust underneath the Alienware logo. - Severe ghosting occurs when running at 240hz with a 1ms ("Super Fast") response time. To avoid this, I am required to run the monitor at 200hz, as I prefer higher response times over being able to see a few extra frames.

This is a great monitor, does exactly what it says, but it has a fatal flaw if you are using display port which i am. The monitor has a large plastic flap adjacent and flush up against the display port connection slot that prevents your cord from connecting all the way in, they clearly did not test for this. The first monitor i got i thought was bad because frankly i was to dumb to realize what was happening, but it would shut off randomly for about 1-3 seconds so i got another to replace the "bad" monitor, anyway, as i go to plug in the second monitor i realize that my cable would not go in all the way and it all made sense. So i actually tore off the plastic flap with my own hands and the monitor works perfectly, my fingers were sore for about a day but the monitor is amazing otherwise. please understand this means you will not be able to return it if you try this, i took a risk and it paid off, dont try the same thing.

Great monitor. Even without G-SYNC. I got the cheaper version because I was strapped for cash and my main monitor is a 165 hz IPS with G-SYNC. I got this monitor strictly to play FPS games on it, namely overwatch. For what I use this monitor for, its fantastic. I saw my accuracy go up 5-6%. I would not use this as my main my monitor though because I feel TNs just cant reproduce the colors that an IPS can. But for the price I paid, its one of hell of a bargain for 240hz.

Great TN 240hz monitor. The colors are good, and I like the different presets (FPS, Movie, Standard etc. For preset color adjustments). It also has a dark stabilizer, similar to benqs black equalizer. My only compliant is I prefer the smaller/square platform stands for the monitor, as I have a smaller desk that I share my PC and monitor with. The two platform spokes are wide, and slightly protrude on my QCK+. I bought this out of whim to see if 240hz was worth it (I own the 1440P/144hz Dell monitor). I will say playing CSGO death match for about 40 minutes, the game play was much smoother, and it felt like I could flick smoother/more accurate. I would recommend this monitor.

I bought this because after much research, its pretty much the best bang for the buck. I have a ASUS Strix GTX 1070 and although this monitor has not (yet) landed on Nvidias officially certified compatible with g-sync list yet, I can say with confidence that this monitor does indeed work with G-Sync very well. The only game Ive heard anyone mentioning as having issues with g-sync on this monitor is Elder Scrolls Online (which I do not play). Great picture quality, good brightness and silk smooth gameplay and works with G-Sync while costing roughly $120 to $150 less than the official g-sync version of this same monitor. Ive only had this monitor for 3 days now but I can say that it has worked flawlessly with these ganes: Destiny 2 Borderlands 2 Star Wars Battlefront 2 Left 4 Dead 2 Warhammer - Vermintide 2 (damn, thats a lot of "2"s, lol) Anywho, a great monitor!

Disappointed with the blue/purple glow on bottom and left side of the screen. Please be sure to check yours by watching or viewing a picture with dark borders or scenes such as a movie trailer. The 240hz is amazing, very smooth and coming from 60hz you can see a difference. The picture other than the issue I had was good but main advantage is 240 refresh rate. The 1080p picture is like any other and the overall brightness and viewing angles for this TN panel is very good. Also the build quality is outstanding, metal base/stand and super thin bezels (frame) but the blue/purple backlight bleed couldn’t be overlooked. I ended up returning it and didn’t want to take a chance on another one, instead I purchased a Samsung 4K monitor and very happy with the upgraded resolution. For eSports there are other good 144hz options for less money, 240hz may not be worth it yet.
