Worked great until the stand broke after about 3 months of use. The stand broke in a terrible spot while I was tilting the monitor down. The monitor subsequently crashed to the ground and broke. Called the company and they said I could buy new one. The warranty I purchased didnt cover the damage because the stand breaking is not covered for some reason. So the stand that came attached to the monitor broke and my monitor crashed to the ground and subsequently broke. Customer service was not helpful. The warranty said they wouldnt cover physical damage even if it occurred due to the products failure. So i get nothing. I spent a lot of money on a TV to use for 3 months. I will no longer be buying from Acer going forward due to this terrible experience.

Good monitor. Great features. Looks nice. (Stand is far better than Z35.) My only gripe is that the menu buttons are on the bottom of the bezel, facing down. Rather annoying to navigate with. The 120hz overclock seems to work with no issues. The included speakers are decent enough for normal use, but not for tv/movie/hardcore gaming. Just use them if you dont want to put on your headphones. Overall, Im pleased but the button configuration is just a little too annoying to give a full 5-stars for. I would have taken them on the side, or even on the top. Edit - The "Premium" support you get with Predator gear isnt such. Its just a bunch of call/chat takers that have no idea what they are doing. They basically try to guide you to sending your product to one of their repair centers for 7-10 days. They are nothing more than basic tech support. Its certainly nice to have, but its not "Premium".

This monitor wouldve been a 4 star but due to me receiving two bad monitors Ive given it 1 star for poor quality control. There is slight back light bleed so if that bothers you be aware before purchasing this monitor. Great resolution and excellent refresh rates with over clocking 120hz. G sync makes such a big different and good viewing angles. Heavy duty base with good adjustment on the stand. Wish I wouldve got a good one but returning these have already frustrated me enough.

To start, the monitor feels sturdy, looks great with Gsync locked at 120, and has some decent speakers. Battlefield plays extremely smooth and the picture is the best Ive ever seen. Now......if you want to VESA mount this thing, you better have a lot of patience and go ahead and order the following: (4) m4 X 50mm machine bolts and (4) 1" nylon spacers. Because of the pointed curve at the back of the monitor, you cant mount a 100 VESA flush against the back of it. You have to use spacers, and the M4 X 30 bolts that they supply in the packaging are not long enough to use with the spacers. It took me a full day of calling local hardware stores to find anyone that sold M4 X 50, its an unusual size bolt. Set your 1" spacers against the back of the monitor, then lay the VESA mount over the 1" spacers. Next, use the bigger 4 black spacers and washers that they supply in the packaging over your bolt on the back side of the mount. You should have enough room left to firmly snug the bolt into the monitor. Pics attached for reference. I had to deduct one star for the poor design at the back of the monitor and the fact that the packaging doesnt have everything you need to VESA mount the monitor. Acer, please concentrate more on functionality. Those sharp edges in the back look cool, but they totally mess up VESA mounting.

Great monitor, i dont experience ghosting or whatever other reviewers are, maybe they have a bad video card and it cant keep up with it, then again if youre gonna blow a grand on a monitor that shouldnt be an issue. 60hzVS100hz, yes there is a difference, i didnt buy into the gimmick of refresh rates but i should of, 100hz VS 100+ I cant see a difference G-sync? hell yeah!! when its not on I notice immediately In the video I will show you that it runs smooth and I am playing Mass Effect Andromeda, game got a lot of hate because they pushed it out in Alpha stage and that is just gonna cause problems, its much better now. I am disabled with brain damage and im holding my phone with my bad hand and it is shaky, also the sound is coming from the monitor on volume 43. The negative reviews Ive seen about the buttons for the controls, they arent bad at all, the buttons are directly under where the options are on the display. my phone is an LG v10. I would buy this monitor again, Judging from a mixed bag of reviews...make your own decision

Upgraded from Asus 144hz 1080p 27" What I like: Build quality is great I love how fast this monitor turns on/off, such a seemingly trivial thing that becomes really nice to have over time Picture quality is great Im not super picky about color range though I did notice this is definitely more vibrant than any other display Ive owned. What I dont like: Bezels here are massive. The OSD is better than most but the buttons placement on the bottom is not ideal. Ghosting in some games is really bad, while others I dont notice any. Oddly enough the worst offender so far is Diablo 3 which has absolutely terrible ghosting. Would I buy it again: Definitely.

I returned my AW3418DW Alienware Ultrawide to purchase this and it blows the Alienware out of the water in every single way minus not being as wide. The Alienware says you can O/C it to 120hz but I couldnt O/C it over 105 without it starting to randomly blink. I tried new cords, replaced the outlet in my wall, changed the power strip, before exchanging it thinking it was a defective unit but after 2 weeks of being at 120hz the blinking came back. After lots of researching I found a couple others who were experiencing the same issue. After returning the Alienware I stumbled upon this Acer Predator and this is easily the best monitor I have ever owned. Literally everything about this product scream premium monitor better than the Alienware. It comes assembled ready to rock and roll right out of the box, I O/C it too 165hz with the built in O/C (no issues at all), the quality feels better (harder sturdier feeling plastic), they have a dedicated customer service line for owners of Predator products (Thats bawler AF), the menu navigation is GENIUS (Intuitive not clunky like the Alienware), and the RGB lighting is nice touch, and to top it all off the 32" is hands down now my favorite monitor size in 2560 x 1440. My only wish is that I could get this in Ultra HD and keep the 165hz refresh rate but that version only comes in 60hz.

The Acer Predator X27 is absolutely incredible. The picture quality, color reproduction, refresh rate, and everything else about this monitor is top-quality. It is extremely expensive (even more expensive than entire computers or 65 inch 4K TVs) but thats what happens when you jam pack bleeding-edge tech into an item like this. The monitor DOES have a exhaust fan at the rear so it isnt completely silent all the time. Most of the time you cant even hear the fan but if youve been gaming hot and heavy for multiple hours the fan ramps up for a little while to cool things down. It might bother you depending on how sensitive you are to fan noise but its never bothered me. If you wear headphones, this is a non-issue. Also, the monitor is silent when doing mundane tasks like web browsing, word documents, or watching videos. The HDR on this monitor is the real-deal. FALD backlighting and the ability to crack up the refresh rate to 144hz is wonderful. I usually keep it at its stock 120hz setting so I dont lose any chroma subsampling quality; as with even my Nvidia TITAN RTX GPU cant run all games over 120fps at 4K resolution with all the graphical goodies turned on. G-Sync is incredible tool. Tear free image all the time. If you want this best, youve found it but you will have to pay its price. Isa it worth it? Only you can decide.

(Z321QU Curved 31.5" WQHD) Im still in the "ooohhhh..." stage, but will try to be somewhat objective. Pro: Image quality for close viewing; refresh rate; G-Sync Con: Price (even on sale) Unk: Color fidelity Question of Taste: "dramatic" stand (can always reuse Christmas tree wrap ;) ) Still dialing in the picture quality, but its pretty astonishing OOB (tame for gaming, near perfect for "real" work). No dead pixels, excellent baseline image test results (Eizo suite), have not done color calibration tests yet. Paired with a 1070ti / DP to use G-SYNC. The modest 1800cm curve on this monitor is nearly perfect for close viewing, giving a great sense of immersion. Its worth seeing a number of monitors in person before buying. I found 27" curved monitors to be an unnecessary affectation, but 34" flat screen was too large at close viewing range (the corners begin to visually foreshorten and "fall away" in a disturbing way). I found ultra-wide to have too little vertical space. So for me, this was the way to go above 30". YMMV. Niggling complaint with the monitor is that the video cable connectors are under an overhang center back and down-facing. You cant exactly turn this thing on its side to get to them, and when its on a corner desk against a wall it takes quite a bit of maneuvering to connect the cables - but generally thats a one-time installation thing, so no biggie. Ans: Connect cables before positioning on desk. Comes with 4 cables (one DP, one HDMI), which are too short for "clean" cable routing under the desk. Measure your cable route and buy another cable if needed. And then theres my reaction to playing a couple of flight sim and space games: "Ooooooohhhhhhhhh...."

I had this and the Asus PG279Q side by side and, and ended up going with this monitor. You can really tell the difference in contrast and blacks when they are side by side. This one simply just looked better. Even though the PG279Q is an IPS, just eyeballing the colors i felt better less washed out colors coming from the Z321QU. I even asked many members of the family to walk by and say which one they thought looked better color wise and everyone picked the Z321QU. Plus coming from an ultrawide i just couldnt drop down to 27 inch...but i find a 32 inch perfect for me, i like it even better then the ultrawide. Plus, mine came with 0 issues, no dead pixels, no problems at all. Very Happy with my purchase
