I love this monitor! Its the best deal out there right now. I was going to buy the asus 144hz monitor but they jacked the price up about 80 bucks for no reason, so I got mad and decided on this and I was not let down. Okay it doesnt have g-sync but I put it next to my friends Asus Rog g-sync and couldnt tell the difference. It doesnt have speakers but who uses crappy monitor speakers anyway. Its really durable, I am constantly taking it to LAN at friends houses and leaving it in my car trunk bouncing around for days. No dead pixels, super dependable and easy to break down and put back in the box with all my other stuff for LAN-ing. Switching to 144hz is the biggest noticeable improvement I have done to my computer short of upgrading video cards. Buy this monitor and dont look back, use the money you saved to buy a nice head set or something. If you found this review helpful please up vote me, thanks.

I cannot tell you how many monitors I had to go through until I settled on this one. Price/Feature: This monitor is priced well. Here are the features I like about the monitor 1. 144hz refresh rate, 2. Lightboost capable! - lightboost can be used with Nvidia videocards. There is a little tweak that you must use a Custom Resolution Utility (CRU tool) it can be found on blurbusters.com. Lightboost uses the 3d backlight, making it strobe really fast and it further removes blurriness from the image. Gaming with lighboost on is very enjoyable. 3. Easy to Debezel. The casing around the monitor can be popped off by using a kitchen knife or anything else that is slim and can separate the bezel. 4. Its FlickerFree! I do not have any eyestrain after longer hours of looking at the screen. 5. I purchased a second one, and may get a 3rd for surround gaming. Cons 1. The vesa mount is on the plastic cover. If you debezel the monitor, you will lose the vesa capability and will need to become creative - luckily there are many options out there in forums. 2. Really for the price I have no other cons to share about this monitor. You get a VGA cable, DVI-D cable, Power brick in the package. Stand is not adjustable but does tilt forward and backwards. You will need a screwdriver on hand to tighten the stand. Hope this helped.

HOLY COW This monitor is GREAT for the price. Having upgraded from a 60hz monitor to this one, the difference is NIGHT AND DAY! If youre having problems getting your OS to display it in 144Hz with this monitor, DO NOT USE THE HDMI, as it can only refresh at 60hz. to get the full 144 must use the DVI cable.

Pros: *Superb Monitor for the price. *No Input Lag. *Great monitor for gaming. *Not harsh for the eyes. Cons: *For some reason Im not able to go above 120hz anything more then that causes flickering such as 144hz. Ive tried removing the cable and putting it back restarting my PC downloading the latest drivers for my graphics card. Im using an AMD card. So far 120hz is stable for me. Edit: I have fixed the issue, I went to Best Buy and purchased a DVI-D cable for $8 and I am able to use 144hz without any glitches/flickers. You do not need to buy any other brand for 144hz as theyre indistinguishable and cant tell the difference by other expensive models offering the same 144hz. I will be buying another model of this monitor next month.

Awesome display, and the colors are very vibrant. 1080p is brilliant on this display, so good in-fact I purchased a second one! Pros: -awesome display -true 1080p -DVI cable(yesss) -adjustable tilt -HDMI compatible -true 144hz Cons: -Not really a complaint, but the display is set to SUPER BRIGHT right out of the box! To conclude: get it. I know that you have been thinking about getting one of these for a long time like I did. I too wondered if it changed my skill or anything like that and let me tell you, it did. Once you play 144hz you will never want to go back.

Its best to use this monitor with lightboost at 120 hz for gaming because it has a horrible motion blur issue at 144 hz. Everything looks so much clearer on 120 hz, and it just took some color adjustment in the nvidia control panel. Before I did so, the motion blur was so bad it made me sick while gaming. Looks great on 144 hz outside of gaming though. Nice, bright display.

I ordered this after researching several monitors. I settled on this Acer for two personal reasons. 1- its affordable and shipped free and 2- Im familiar with Acer (blue collar great quality monitors) and was looking for this specific monitor. The price was very good, it shipped and was received sooner than expected and all "hookup" options were in the box when I received the monitor. I went with the hdmi option. Just so you know, there are no built in speakers for this monitor. I didnt want/need them so that wasnt any concern of mine. I just wanted folks who are shopping around for monitors to know that. Youll have to use your computers sound card or the graphics card (if it has audio built in). I used this monitor to upgrade an older HP monitor I had for quite some time. My gaming system is an older I-buypower build that Ive personally upgraded over the past couple of years. The monitor was recognized and installed on the Gigabyte MB without a hitch. I did go in and readjust the graphics settings to my preferences rather than run with the (recommended) default settings. Its simple to set up, readily recognized and mine came with all of the software and hardware that would be necessary for setting it up on a Windows 10 system. The monitors extremely crisp, clear and the colors great! Im running it with an XFX (AMD) Radeon RX 480 (8GB GDDR5) graphics card. It does make a big (favorable) difference in the gaming graphics quality. I tossed around the idea of getting the "next one up" but for the price I ran with this one. Im very happy I did.

Just in case reviews for the 24" and 27" are mixed together, the one Im reviewing is the 24" model. I havent tried the 27". I love this monitor; I bought one on June 10th, 2016 for $221.17 and another on Aug. 31st, 2016 for $178.76 and both are running perfectly as of Oct. 12th, 2017. I included my prices to show others how prices tend to fluctuate. I ended up buying the second for some dual-screen action before I was aware that Id only be able to run one of them at 144hz. Still, great monitor for the price and if my monitors didnt match I probably would have gone crazy anyway so I dont regret getting two. The only negative point I have to make is that the four prongs of the stand are pretty long, especially on the front. This caused some issues for me because I use a small desk; they often got in the way of my keyboard. I almost didnt mention this but I noticed one of their "selling points" is that the stands fit practically anywhere. I eventually got a dual-monitor stand that works great for them; the "VIVO Dual LCD Monitor Free Standing Desk Mount with Optional Bolt" for anyone wondering. To be fair though, my desk is too small really so I dont consider the stand size/design to warrant a lower rating. My only small regret is not potentially going for a 1440p or even 4k monitor since these will probably last way past the point where Ill want to upgrade and Im fairly sure my computer is capable of running 4k on at least one monitor.

Not sure why everyone is complaining about not being able to get 144hz on 1920x1080. Have it right here and tested it online to confirm. Great monitor for the price if youre just a casual gamer and dont need insane specs.

I have owned a couple of 144hz monitors, and I gotta say this one is the best of them all. Im the kind of guy who does a TON of research before I buy anything, especially something electronic like this, and after many hours of research I settled on this monitor for a couple of reasons, number one being the image quality. Number two being the price point. Really, there is no difference between this 200 dollar monitor and a 300 dollar 144hz monitor. The only thing you could change would be the panel type. This monitor is a TN panel, if you wanted an IPS panel you would need to shell out much more money. However, even being a TN panel, the color is very good. Nice and sharp. The monitor itself looks appealing, and the stand is very fitting for it. Not to mention the 3d aspect of this monitor. If you have an nvidia graphics card that can do 3d, thats just another perk for this monitor. I would buy this monitor again and probably will in the future at some point.
