NOTE that if you buy this monitor you will NOT be able to run at 144hz with a HDMI cable. They NEVER state this anywhere but I have tried every HDMI cable under the sun, adapters, custom settings in the Nvidia control panel etc. You will NOT get above 60hz over HDMI and if you are using a gaming laptop like me, HDMI might be your only option. I was very upset by this as it is one reason big reason why I picked this monitor. There are plenty of monitors that may list things like being able to run at 144hz but they at least provide details in the description. For example, they will say, "120hz and up to 144hz with overclocking". This monitor, NOTHING to give you heads up with this monitor that 60hz is the best you can do on HDMI. I wouldnt be so mad if I got 120hz but couldnt get to 144hz, but this is very upsetting as its a HUGE difference between 144hz and 60hz. DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO SAY YOU CAN GET 144HZ WITH THIS MONITOR WITH HDMI AS THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT OWN THIS MONITOR. Also, there is no way for me to get Lightboost to work either. The monitor is good quality for a 60hz monitor but I didnt buy a 60hz monitor!
