Decent monitor, blacks are a bit washed out. I have this paired with 2 same size LCD displays and you can see a big difference in brightness and contrast. Viewing angle is not great on the vertical, as it wants to be tilted back a bit, in my setup anyway.

While this monitor does deliver vibrant colors for a budget price, there are some serious defects. It has lousy blacks, especially from an angle. If youre not directly in front of the monitor looking slightly down at it, youll be very disappointed if you have a dark or black-based screen saver. The blues are a little hot but can be corrected with color and gamma balance, but it takes a slow and steady hand, even youre used to working with Acers clunky interface. Ive used several other Acer monitors over the years and I will use them again, but not this model. Its the worst LED monitor Ive ever purchased. I would recommend that you stay clear of this monitor and continue shopping.

These monitors are pretty low quality (washed out blacks and blown out whites), so theres really no way to recover the color saturation quality due to how cheapy they are. Tasks this monitor is good for: Browsing the web Tasks this monitor is not good for: Watching movies Graphic design Web development Anything that requires color accuracy I looked for help online that would tell me how to correct the color, but I couldnt find anything. If youre just wanting a monitor for the sake of having a monitor, this definitely works. However, if you do any sort of design, development, graphic design or any other task that needs color quality, I wouldnt recommend this monitor. I gave it 2 stars, because I dont think this monitor is meant to be great, but its definitely priced out of its category. Id recommend a $99.00 price tag for a monitor like this.

No signs of dead pixels or other outright failure to display. All 2.1 megapixels are here, but are they good? Spoilers - not really. The backlighting differs between the top and bottom, colors are washed out and it looks white no matter how you adjust it. Even the ideal viewing angle seems different between the top and the bottom, and this is made worse by the lack of tilt and elevation features. Im not even a graphic designer and sometimes the quality just irritates me. Still, I bought this during a flash sale for 70$ - at that price I cant fault it, however at almost 100$ Id look at something else. And I kind of regret it at that price.

I ordered this monitor expecting to be able to VESA mount it like every monitor and screen thats been made in the last 10 years, but no! If you DO want to VESA mount it, youll need a third party add-on for $15-30 because they dont sell those on Amazon. Price wise, you may as well get a 24 inch monitor from almost any other manufacturer because it will be the same cost overall, and have built in VESA mounting available. When you do find a third party VESA mount, youll find the power socket and DVI port on the back of the monitor are incredibly inconvenient and placed so that it is almost impossible to install cabling without extreme measures. Severely disappointing. I will NEVER buy another.

Was not really noticeable at first, but I saw what looked to be a buffer corruption running down the right hand side of the screen of my task bar, next to my icons. Spent the night swapping out cables and computers to find it was the DMI port on the monitor causing the issue. Got the RMA, will be getting a different brand when the refund comes in. With this monitor, and an Acer laptop I had that the mother board gave out right after the warranty was up, Im done with this company ...

ACER packaging was what looked like an open box item with stickers or tape over original stickers and lots of messy tape/well worn box (as it had been repackaged and retaped). Amazon packaging very sloppy also. If it was open box, it should have been labeled and priced accordingly. To add insult to injury, monitor did not work out of the box. A waste of my time to repackage and send back

The good news, it came out of the box and was easy to install. Downhill from there. The stand is flimsy and wobbles - appears unstable. The screen is blurry and very bright/white. I have been search how to adjust the brightness, the instructions are terrible and I cannot find help online. I guess I got what a paid for! It is cheep and it is CHEEP. I will go blind looking at this screen! Dont buy it, spend a little more and get better quality.

No matter what I tried I could never get this monitor to have the crisp image that it should have had. It always seemed to be a little out of focus and looked like the contrast was cranked too high. I tried everything I could think of, including updating my video card drivers and nothing seemed to help. PLUS, after I would set the brightness and preference settings via the OSD ... and saved them ... after I rebooted it would be back to the original settings. Ive always had great luck with the Acer brand, until now.

Tried adjusting brightness and contrast, was unable to change enough for my liking, so I assumed it was bad. Exchanged monitor for another, and this one has the same problem, very washed out. Hands down the worst monitor Ive ever purchased, could have bought a paper white CRT VGA monitor and had better color. No clue how this has almost 5 stars.
