Dont over pay. nice and large. It is a little contrast-y. I have several monitors. Crossover, wqhd, acer 4k, dell ips 1600x1200 and this. I paid 250, which is the cheapest of the three. WQHD works great for me in this size with the native windows dpi. That is quite nice to maximize the quality. You dont need to go crazy with video cards to drive it with gaming either. I have only had it for a month, no pixel issues. will update and let you know if any defects over the coming years. pros: All the connectors you could want, displayport, hdmi and dvi. good construction size, and no defects so far. Controls are intuitive, albeit a bit harder to control than i like. my other acer the 4k is a little easier to navigate. bad this is a minor bad. I dont want to make it sound like the color is terrible, but be realistic for 250, this isnt as nice as my other ips monitor. It almost feels like a TN to me. I dont think the color is as great as everyone has been saying in these reviews. The crossover i purchased couple years back is a lot nicer in terms of picture quality, but it has quite a few other drawbacks and costs more. It has that "contrast-y" thing that cheapish monitors have, where the color isnt "smooth and as rich as i like". this is no apple monitor. For the price and size i am going to let this go. 250 is very cost effective, and it is a good resolution. Honestly wqhd is the minimum for a monitor of this size. My 4k is much nicer. this is almost like a 1080 27inch to give you some perspective. Occasionally i see a monitor this size in 1080, i cannot fathom how someone could use that. We are pushing the limits of monitor size and distance. you can see variation of color in picture at this distance to the corners. this is due to the size and tech employed. For example the corners can look slightly darker. This is minor but something to consider. Higher end monitors will have less or none of this. Again for 250 no biggie. I just wanted to share these draw backs because when i read though the reviews i was getting a sense of this amazing no compromises picture quality. I didnt really expect that though for 250 so i am not disappointed. I wanted something good but not amazing. Amazing is too expensive. I would rather upgrade in a few years. Every time i overspend on this stuff i regret it.

i guess i am the first to review this monitor. First, let me say what i use it for and what i replaced. i replaced a 27" AOC 1080p (FHD) IPS monitor so the increase in size (31.5") and QHD (1440p) is a nice upgrade. you cant deny that it is a pleasing experience on the eye, I use this monitor for watching streaming video (not really movies, but YouTube/Twitch, etc.), document review, email browsing, and personal video playback and light editing. i am NOT a video professional, content creator, PC gamer, etc. With that said, this is a really nice monitor for the size and resolution for the price (~$250 at time of purchase). i saw no other monitor at this price point (closest was a 32" IPS QHD AOC monitor for $299 Amazon choice). If you are prosumer, professional, content creator, graphic/photo editor, hardcore PC gamer, you might want better specs. Likes: 31.5" screen size is a lot of screen. no need for more than one monitor for me with this much screen space. 1440p (QHD) looks clean and sharp at the 2-3 ft viewing distance that i have it at (im sure closer might be more pixelated; my eyes arent that great anyways as i get older) stylish minimal bezels (~0.6"), black border with a slight white outline (from the white back) stand can be angled (but NOT raised/lowered) Not-likes: although it is IPS, for some reason changing the viewing angle does seem to change the relative brightness, but not necessarily the colors or picture quality (not sure why), may have something to do with the size of the monitor and the anti-glare (matte) screen finish, therefore i wouldnt recommend if you plan to have multiple people viewing it simultaneously Screen does not really get that bright (i use the graphics setting which seems brightest to me) Neutral: note there are only 3 ports and they are all different: 1 HDMI, 1 Display Port (they do include a DP-to-DP cable), 1 DVI Overall, a nice value 32" QHD monitor for the light to moderate user

Large, as I expected. I had 1 dead pixel and 1 broken/stuck pixel. No IPS Glow (which people always mistaken for Backlight Bleed). I also saw the bezel loose on one side towards the bottom. I hate ordering monitors online because its really a toss up and some companies have bad return policies. I ended up returning this one, so 1 in the last 15 I ordered isnt such a bad record.

This thing is enormous and kinda fun. I am still getting used to all the screen real estate but I like having everything on one large monitor instead of two medium monitors. The only problem is the placement of the power and input ports, they are separated around the back and there is not clean way to do cord management.

Wonderful images, non-glare screen, adequate controls, overall an excellent monitor. And big. My only complaint is that the holes on the monitor to mount the stand did not line up with the screw holes in the stand itself. I mean, not even close. Had to get the Dremel out and remove some of the plastic on the monitor holes to facilitate the installation of the stand. Quality control issue? I dont know, but it was an inconvenience. The issue is moot, as I moved the monitor to a wall mount. :)
