Bought two of these monitors to be a matching set. They arrived perfect, but one monitor failed after two months. I sent it to Acer twice to get it repaired, but both times they sent me a *yellow* monitor back (once with a bad button too). I went almost a month without it the second time and all the returned Service Order said was that they restored it to factory defaults. So the support was as reliable as the original monitor. I provided support images of the problem and very detailed explanations.

Great monitor. I was looking specifically for a monitor that could rotate vertically and this one does that. I was surprised how hard it was to find one like this. A lot of monitors just have molded plastic on the back and you are stuck with a horizontal monitor. Other option is buying a small TV that has a VESA mount, but i wanted something already with the stand and capability to rotate vertically right out of the box. Picture is clear and crisp.

Good price on a pivotable IPS screen. Havent had it for long but so far Im very satisfied with the quality for $150. I almost ordered a similar HP IPS monitor that was about $25 cheaper but there were a number of reviews mentioning a very low sRGB reproduction level on the HP whereas this one has great color all around. It was definitely worth the extra money. Assembly was very simple and required no tools, took about 2 minutes to have it set up (base alignment was a little weird at first). The stand is sturdy and I have no issues with the screen wobbling and the base rotation is solid. I do have a minor gripe with the pivot where the monitor doesnt sit at a perfect 90 degree angle, but its very close to a right angle so its not a huge deal to me. After using it for a few minutes I dont notice it, but from across the room I absolutely do notice. Just something to keep in mind for people that shoot for perfect aesthetics with their setup. Ill definitely consider getting another one of these in the future.

Best Features... from top to bottom - The stand. It is versatile, strong and most commonly found in premium monitors - The viewing angles. If you plan on using multi-panel set up. - IPS Screen Dark scenes in video and photos look way better. - Sound It is decent for the price and you can complement it with some desktop speakers aswell

I have not had it very long but so far so good, it is replacing another Acer that was much smaller and lasted about 3 years which considering I seldom turn them off is pretty good. I hope this one will last at least that long but I did buy the extra warranty because the reviews were a bit mixed. It has a nice adjustment range with screen tilt, height adjustment and even swivels to make the screen long and narrow for reading spreadsheets etc. It seems to be bigger than I expected as well but that is a plus! I dont think I have the speakers hooked up correctly because I dont hear them but I have several speakers attached to my system so they may just not be loud enough to notice. All in all, I am surprisingly pleased with this monitor and the fact that I was able to get it for free (using a gift card that I won in a random drawing) makes it even better. I would recommend this item to others SO FAR!!

This monitor is everything I wanted and more. The base is very sturdy and is extremely adjustable which is great for me because I work on the computer a lot so sometimes I like to stand, this lifts up high enough for me to stand and work. It also rotates so depending on if Im slouching or sitting up straight I can get the perfect angle. It was easy to hook up, the speakers are good enough for my purposes and the screen itself looks really great. I would highly recommend this monitor.

I purchased two of these screens to have at my desk and it is the most amazing set up! I have one vertical and one horizontal for when Im typing up contracts. Having the two screens helps me immensely. The screen moves up and down with ease and the clarity is amazing. I was going to get the HP elite, but to be economical I went with the Acer and am very happy I did. All of my coworkers love my set up and a couple went out that weekend and bought their own for their home office.

This review is for the Acer CB241HY bmidr 23.8" IPS Full HD Monitor. The unit I received has a problem where every time the scene changes I need to enable and disable ACM through the OSD, otherwise the darkness will fluctuate in certain situations (with some full-screen video in Windows 10 and when mousing over the taskbar and other UI elements in Windows XP.) That is the reason I gave two stars. The speakers are nice to have as an option (you get audio through the HDMI connection, otherwise an audio cable is included to use with the DVI connection) if you otherwise only have headphones. I bought this because I needed a replacement for a decade old failing 60Hz 1680x1050 22" 5ms TN monitor and wanted a height adjustable stand and IPS with at-least-as-good response time.

I bought this monitor specifically for the built in speakers (If I had to replace my monitor I might as well get one with speakers so I could ditch my external speaker as well. The sound quality of the internal speaker are tin-ny, and the max volume is barely loud enough to hear any video or music that is playing thru the computer. Really disappointed. So, I had to keep my old external speakers and run sound thru them. Picture quality is fine, and the height adjustment is a very nice feature, but overall the inadequate sound quality gets this review a 1 star.

The screen is great, but next to nothing sound wise. I have had our computer person from work stop by my home and still strain to hear. ( I will add he is in his mid 30s so it is not like there is any hearing loss on his part. ) I am considering going back to my 20 inch screen just to hear again. I am tired of the need to listen on my cell phone or go to work to be able to hear. Sight is great sound I cant rate because it is NOT
