This review is for the Acer CB241HY bmidr 23.8" IPS Full HD Monitor. The unit I received has a problem where every time the scene changes I need to enable and disable ACM through the OSD, otherwise the darkness will fluctuate in certain situations (with some full-screen video in Windows 10 and when mousing over the taskbar and other UI elements in Windows XP.) That is the reason I gave two stars. The speakers are nice to have as an option (you get audio through the HDMI connection, otherwise an audio cable is included to use with the DVI connection) if you otherwise only have headphones. I bought this because I needed a replacement for a decade old failing 60Hz 1680x1050 22" 5ms TN monitor and wanted a height adjustable stand and IPS with at-least-as-good response time.
