**UPDATE** Amazon replaced my unit with another unit and it has the same issue. Battery is discharging while plugged into AC power while gaming. Needless to say, I’m not happy with this and I am returning for a refund. Will not purchase any Razer products in the future. So I purchased this system as Razer seems to be the only company out there with any brains that realizes people want ultrabooks with some graphics punch. Unfortunately, I will have to say this has been a bad experience for me. From the gate this thing has caused me nothing but headaches. After I setup the system the way I wanted, neither Steam nor Origin would work properly. After I updated Windows to 1809, I was able to get Steam and Origin to work. And on to the next problem. After installing and firing up some of my games, things seemed to be working just fine. However, after I stopped playing, I noticed that the battery was discharging while PLUGGED in to AC power. Ive never seen that in my life and Ive had over 20 systems. I contacted Razer support and they were of no help at all. They suggested updating drivers, which I did, and then updating the Nvidia drivers. I couldnt do that because GeForce Experience wouldnt open at all. And to top it off, their tech support asked for a call back number in case we got disconnected, which sure enough, we did. They didnt even bother to call back. After downloading the correct drivers from Nvidia and trying to install, I get the error message that this driver isnt compatible with this version of Windows and the hardware. WTF???!!! I tried a fresh clean install of windows and the same nonsense is occurring. Needless to say, this is a shame, considering the thermals on this laptop are amazing. Never went above 68C for the GPU or CPU. Now this probably a defective unit, as a friend of mine also has this laptop and does not have these problems, but at this point, I dont even want to bother with a replacement. Im just gonna request a refund.

usb-c ports are unreliable, battery has a *very* poor performance, random frezzes, razer might not be ready for prime time, i wish they paid me laptop back to be honest

Battery life has been about 4 hours on a good day, that is with all the latest drivers and updates. Out of the box, the rubber on the bottom of the laptop was uneven and cause the laptop to tilt. I needed something for work right away otherwise I would have sent this pile of garbage back. $600 cheaper than a Surfacebook 2 so I figured I would try it out. Wish I would have stuck with a surfacebook. Will never buy anything from this manufacturer again.

**update** I did receive a FedEx overnight envelope after about four days - and it took a LONG TIME to get a replacement. I finally got a new unit, and it is great. So - I would give this a 5 star review, except that you should know that dealing with customer support at Razer is like shouting into the void. Nobody seems to listen or have any sense of urgency to give real answers or help. The computer is great - solid, snappy, and crisp. But the first one was a dud. So - if youre willing to potentially wade through the process of returning a bad laptop if you get one...go for it. This new stealth is fast and tiny...just what I wanted and needed to transition from work to gaming and back again with the same laptop - on the road and at home -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first ever review! I bought this product direct from Razer. I’ve been wanting the stealth since it first came out - but held off because it didn’t have a discreet graphics card...so when I saw this new model, I immediately purchased. In terms of the build quality, I was blown away. The laptop size is super impressive, the screen was beautiful, the chroma keyboard was gorgeous. Unfortunately I had problems as soon as I turned on the laptop. The unit that they sent me constantly crashed. This Greenwood flicker black and then the laptop would crash. I would turn it back on and it would do the same thing. I tried troubleshooting with tech-support and they determined that the laptop was bad and I would need to send it back. They’ve been very friendly, but have not provided a Fed ex label to ship the laptop back because they are unsure of their stock levels for replacement. So as things stand I am sitting here with a dead laptop, $1500 poorer, and no real plan to get a replacement. I’ve called them and they have asked for 24 to 48 more hours to figure out what to do. I’m very underwhelmed by the quality of their support, And I’m disappointed that a super premium laptop like this did not work perfectly out of the box. I’ve never had this type of problem with a brand new laptop before. They did offer me a $50 credit to use at their website, but I really don’t need anything else… I just need a working laptop. So, I’m assuming that I got a defective hard drive, and not every unit will be like mine. I’m hoping for a great replacement and will update this review when it arrives.
