This is one of the lowest cost laptops that will offer fantastic performance for fast boot, and simple use of traditional apps for web surfing and e-mail. It uses both the latest Optane memory technology which is a "cache" for boot and fast access to files that are used a lot. This decreases boot times and makes the laptop perform much better than if it was just a hard-drive only. Hard drives are slow, and a computer or laptop that has Optane or an SSD is so much better. I reccommend this for someone that is not doing heavy gaming, but just wants a reliable and east to use laptop to boot fast and do the basics, but very well. I helped a relative set it up a week ago and they are thrilled with it...and i boguht one for myself/family for basic use and it does what we need and the best possible price. You need more performance? Buy a computer and either get one with more RAM or a big SSD, not a HDD.

I brought this one from a roll back web site. It is a fast laptop computer, starts fast, runs smooth. Most other notebook computer I had before were slowing due to hard drives 100% usage all the time. This laptop computer uses a special Intel cache memory. Even its main RAM is only 4G, it runs a lot faster than some of my i7 notebook with 16GB RAM. It also comes with GPU that helping the display faster than other laptop. 1TB hard drive has plenty storage, again, since that Intel cache somehow stays in between RAM and hard drive, it mostly at 20% usage, rarely peaked to 100%. I did not experience any lock up nor crash at all. I would recommend it to anyone want a good work and play laptop

Bought this computer for a couple college courses. It gets the job done. The battery life is as expected, nothing amazing but you don’t have to be plugged in constantly. I can have multiple tabs open, getting assignments done. Reading textbooks online, watching video lessons etc.
