I really enjoy the 25 to 50% of this mouse pad that I can use. My cats seem to enjoy the 50 to 75% of this mouse pad that they use. I use this mouse pad everyday, but so do my cats. The 25 to 50% of the mouse pad that I am able to use at any time works really well. I can move my mouse easily, and it is very smooth. The bottom of the pad is rubbery, so it doesnt move anywhere. My cats seem to enjoy this mouse pad because it is flat, on my desk, and when they sit on it they are in the way. I am afraid that one day they will both sleep on it, and I wont be able to use any of the mouse pad anymore. Anyway, if you need a good mouse pad, or you need a place for your cats to sleep, then I recommend this mouse / cat pad.

This is not the exact same product that you would receive if you were to purchase it on Steelseriess official website. My brother ordered his off of steelseries for a total of $38 dollars. We had some suspicion over the differences and quality of Steelseries mousepads sold by Amazon due to previous experiences. So I decided to purchase mine from Amazon for a comparison. There is a difference with the rubber found underneath the mousepad. The one sold by Steelseries seems to be from a newer revision or model. the multiple logos on the back are shiny when held up at a certain angle, when we did this with mine, there is very little shine, and appears to be of an inferior quality. This alone proves that there is manufacturing or product differences between the mousepads sold here and on their official website. My guess is that Amazon is carrying older models of the mousepad but im not sure. In terms of the actual surface, I cant say that I notice any difference at all. Both mousepads feel the same when using them with a mouse and when feeling them with my hand. I purchased mine for around $28, so there is a $10 savings when you choose Amazon. Im still disappointed that we received different products even when they were purchased within a week of each other. But I think the savings was worth it, and I think they are essentially the same product with minor differences.

1. QcK Hard size medium ($30): three stars The tracking on this “pad” is phenomenal, but the glide makes tracking very hard to control. It feels like I’m playing air hockey. Maybe it’s a combination of my DeathAdder mouse with very smooth feet on this pad but the glide is too much. In FPS games I couldnt keep my crosshairs still when doing nothing and it made it hard to snap back and forth with precision. Also my quick mouse movements in FPS games were too noisy with this pad (most noticeable when in the company of others). The pad itself is of quality build and very durable and probably worth the price if your mouse doesn’t glide as much as mine did. 2. I returned the QcK Hard for a QcK Limited (cloth type with stitched edge), also size medium ($20): five stars. This one tracks just as well as the Hard version but I don’t feel like I’m playing air hockey in a pistol fight. I recommend this model over the Hard model. The build is great and the stitching feels like it won’t peal apart after rigorous FPS combat. Cheaper too. It’s pretty stupid that the lot of product styles all live under one product item thereby sharing reviews. The styles vary wildly enough that a review for one style (QcK Hard) no way represents a review for other (QcK Limited Cloth Stitched Edge). Also, most reviewers here do not identify which style they purchased so their reviews mostly not helpful.

This mouse pad is great. I previously was using just the standard QcK pad, but Im now using my girlfriends desk--which she spent many, many hours refinishing--for my computer so I wanted something to protect the wood from all of my peripherals and other junk. The XXL is perfect. It covers enough space for my mouse, keyboard, and headset with room for me to have my phone in front of me as well (see my photo). Its also a little bit thicker than the standard QcK, which I like. Would definitely recommend.

My favorite mouse pad was the Turtle Beach Drift, which came free with their gaming mouse. It was too small though, and evidently is no longer made (someone in Germany is selling the large size, but I do not want to be in the position of having hours of muscle memory and no replacement available). I am a low DPI/sens fps player with years of quake experience as well as some unreal tournament, COD, and a little bit of camper strike. Currently I play way too much Overwatch (tracer main). Mouses/mice used on this pad have been a Razer Deathadder 2013, Zowie EC-2A, and a Rival 300. I have also tried the same mice on a Logitech G240, and both the Goliath speed and control pads. This pad was initially too fast. I then purchased the Goliath control (that lasted 5 minutes), then the G240, which was decent. I then later, out of curiosity tried the Goliath speed, which was decent as well .... but my aim was always better, statistically in game on the QCK heavy. So I pressed on. This pad needs some wear before it shines. After about 2 months,, it was broken in and exceeded all of the above mentioned pads. As you can see, I do not take this stuff lightly. That being said, my perfect mouse/pad combo is the QCK heavy with the G240 on top ... and the EC-2A. So, there you have it

For the person(s) complaining about not getting this mouse pad to unroll flat, be smarter than the mouse pad, roll it up the opposite way it was rolled and stick it back in the box for a while, pull it out and it will lay flat, that easy, thank me later

When it comes to gaming, you want the best to be the best. Keyboards, mouse, PC/CONSOLE/, Headsets, and more. You wanna dot every sentence with an expensive period. For gaming: 5/5. Glides easy, no resistance, soft, great boarders and blows attention towards your mouse. As far as LONG PERIODS of gaming, you need a wrist support, but for short-few hour gaming sessions, PERFECT. Material Quality: 5/5. This is technically easy to clean, depending on the model/type of product you purchased (I got medium stitched edge) this is sweet and soft. The color allows you to see any dirt immediately, and the material is loose but stitched well. Basically you can take it off the table, whip it over the trash can a few times, and its brand new all over again. Im sure you could take dish soap and hand wash this delicately if need too. As far as ergonomics, this product is a 3/5. The material is soft, smooth, and allows your mouse to glide with *no* resistance at all. Thats pretty amazing; but the (gaming) mouse pad doesnt offer wrist support. Essentially, you will need that if intending to work for 8 hours to keep wrist damage to minimum. A good idea is to buy a small/medium mouse pad so if you want to buy future gear, you can place it atop your glowing electronic pads (See link provided:) https://amzn.to/2JfukTS With a gaming mouse/keyboard combo, a Steel Series mouse pad not breaking the bank and giving you what you need, you can look lit, fam.

This is a really nice mouse pad. The thickness is great and it is comfortable to use. The size is also perfect for use in games where low sensitivity is required like FPSs. The edges are really solid and after months of use they arent fraying at all, even on the most heavily used area, the bottom. After using this for quite some time, the only complaint that I have is that the heavily used areas are starting to turn white due to being rubbed against so often. This doesnt affect the performance of the mouse, that Ive noticed, but it does take away from the clean look of an all black mouse pad. When this is taken out of the packaging, it will need to be pressed under some large books to get the curves out of the edges, this doesnt take to long (overnight should be okay), and makes the mouse pad lay flat on a desk. This is caused because it is shipped rolled up in a tube, this isnt a complaint against the pad, just a minor setback to getting started using it as it wont be an issue after it goes away.

I play CS:GO, just under 6000 hours in and still going strong. I have used many mousepads over the years. The list includes: Logitech G440 Razer Goliathus Speed Large Razer Goliathus Speed Extended HyperX Fury S Pro HyperX GTF-X Corsair MM300 Extended Corsair MM600 Steelseries Qck+ Steelseries Qck+ Limited Fnatic Boost Control Fnatic Boost Speed A Used Cutting Board (literally) As well as many not special or famous brand mousepads I do not consider this a fast mouse pad. I have played with hard pads, soft pads, and hybrids. It has the worst aspects of both kinds of mousepads. The Static Friction is very high as a result of the mousepads surface. Static Friction is the force keeping an object at rest, as in not moving. Some people prefer high friction mousepads so they can "stop on a dime", right when they wish the mouse to stop moving, they just stop applying force. This is not a typical high friction mousepad. The problem is that this mousepad has an odd ratio of the Static Friction to the Kinetic Friction. Kinetic Friction is the force stopping or slowing a moving object. Its difficult for me to explain precisely how one of the problems feel; When the mouse is moving in one direction, in order to then move in a different direction while moving you have to overcome the friction of the mousepad again at that angle. I assume it is because of the way the stitching is done. I havent had this issue with other higher friction mousepads. It makes it difficult for me in games that requires non straight line movements. I switch between mousepads sometimes based on situation, or how my mouse feet are behaving. Currently my pair is the HyperX GTF-X, and the Razer Goliathus Speed Large. With the GTF-X the static friction is low, so small movements in any direction can be done with very little effort. The kinetic friction is very close to the static friction, so I can consistently make wide turns with small adjustment after. With the Goliathus Speed, the static friction is slightly higher, but the kinetic friction is lower it requires less force than the initial force to keep the mouse moving. I play a Support/2nd-3rd Entry role on my team; I recognize that entrying is easier with the Goliathus Speed, so I can do several 180° turns, and they dont have to be accurate on the small scale, since it is close range and teammates are engaging. Otherwise the GTF-X is comfortable for everything else. I cannot effortlessly use the QCK+ Limited because the static friction is higher than is comfortable, and the kinetic friction while moving is still rather high, but less sticky feeling than the static friction This mousepad fits neither of my roles and therefore I can not recomend it personally. Some of you may prefer the way it feels. If you play other games, the issues I stated above will likely not apply. P.S. My feeling of fast and slow may be radically different than others because I played on hard pads much of my career too. I would even mix lotion with water on a folded rag and coat the surface of the hard pad with the mixture, wiping it clean every few minutes. There was so little friction that If I put a folded peice of paper under one side, the mouse would slide off the table. I had to apply force to stop the mouse when it was moving. If I lightly tapped it on with a finger, it would slide accross until its feet dropped off the surface of the hardpad. Please consider my perspective in your evaluation of my review, and your decisions because of it.

I love the large format of the mat so that I can adjust my arm to different positions while sitting at the desk for hours. Especially in content creation this mat paired with a good dpi switching mouse will give really accurate outcomes. I like how I can hold one button on the mouse to use low dpi and move across the mat to get the dimensions accurately the first time. Surface is really smooth and the edges are still intact after a couple months of heavy use. The mouse doesnt stick the tiniest even with a lot pressure on it. That helps a lot while playing Dota 2 or Call of Duty. As far as carrying it around goes, it does go flat back as soon as it is placed on the table. I had it rolled up in my bag for at least a week and even then it lay flat except a tiny bit on one edge (it was flat after an hour or so).
