Its verrrry good quality, it came perfectly flat, the lights are awesome, and its big enough to fit my mamba wireless my blackwidow x tournament edition chroma and my wireless charging chroma with room to spare, awesome!! EDIT: Rip mousepad, it became wavy like everyone else and the LEDs are a little uneven (left side is brighter) I had to super glue it down to my desk

This thing is pretty big. Takes up a lot of my desk, but is very nice with my mouse. My only issue is that the options within Synapse 3 for it are pretty limited to static or breathing or spectrum. Wave would be a great option but it looks like I would have to program that or find someone who already has, which is pretty annoying. Still, for an extra large desk pad with lights, its pretty cool. Very little branding on it, which confused me at first.

tl;dr, banged my chair against the desk mat and now a section of it has been ruined My desk is 7 layers of hell f****d up from years of abuse, but I really like the design and it went out of production a year ago. I was really hard pressed to find a solution. I could try to build a new, similar desk, but it turns out there is no pcpartpicker for Ikea. So I left it for a while and it got worse, especially under the Razer mouse I already have, to the point where steam vac banned me for NOT using aimbot. My buddy told me about these cool rgb mousepads Razer had, and I was like "dope, I support the rgbtq community, let the gays match lobbies with who they want", and I got this absolute unit. Fast forward like, 4 months, and Im chilling in my chair, when, in an attempt to look away from a flash someone threw into mid, I banged my elbow into my 2 liter mug of G fuel. It flowed everywhere like the blood of an AFK team mate chilling at spawn with an AWP you couldnt afford since you went AK on a f***ing eco round like Jesus Christ dude they were flying around with five-sevens. Anyway, I turned around to catch my mug and bumped the arm rest on my chair into the side of my desk and now its permanently discolored. No clue how its gonna hold up in the next year or so, but Im way past the refund date and cant really do anything at this point.

There’s obviously tons of good reviews with the product, but there’s also a good number of bad ones. I received the product and laid it out on my desk super excited. Then, I noticed that it wasn’t flat on the desk. There were tons and tons of spots where it would curve upwards. When I would try to push it down, the curve would just move over. I spent about an hour trying to get it to flatten with no luck whatsoever. If you’re interested in this product, Be ready to deal with curves or even just returning it. I hope that everyone has better luck than me. This shouldn’t be a problem considering the $59.99 price tag on it.

There isnt much when it comes to reviewing a mousepad. Its an elegant black. With nice resistance making it great for Shooters where precision matters yet if you are a low sens gamer then I wouldnt recommend it competitively because you will need more surface space than this pad offers or you will be flicking a lot. For casual gaming, it will be suitable for everything else. Besides that. Its tough to talk about the pros of the pad without a "but". Mousepad lays fat and works perfect at first but- if you get a crease or so wave in it, you will have zero chance in fixing it without returning it. It is an elegant black but- when it gets dirty and it will get dirty. The pad is impossible to wash like non RGB mousepads where you could throw it in a tub or washing machine. So, it will look nice until it gets dirty. The lights and software is great for synchronizing with other Razer products but its only one zone unlike the Firefly that has multiple zones for lighting.

Its a nice mat as far as that goes. But what are we really paying for here? I have all three Chroma products with the keyboard, mouse, and mat that all controlled by razors app. The app is buggy as hell on my machine and it seems like it never really works out of sleep or most other times. Usually all three are rotating through different colors because our profile never loads, or stays loaded unless you go and close the program, restart it, and not let it go to sleep. Also, for some odd reason, the mat strobes at night when the computer is off. Its not terribly bright, but it has a strobe effect that I cant seem to turn off. So, nice material...bad software.

Before I address the headline, let me say that this is a very fine, very large mouse mat that is excellent in all respects. The surface material is smooth and well suited to gaming, no problems with aiming whatsoever, the lights work as advertised, there seems to have been an issue with programming the lights before, but in my more recent experience, all it takes is downloading the Razer Synapse software, continuing as a guest (no more login needed), setting it to your preferred configuration, and enjoying the light show. On to the headline. The reason that you do NOT want to buy this used is because of the way that the mouse mat is made. The portion of the mat that lights up is similar in material to a glowstick. If it is bended in any sort of unsightly manner, It will be very hard to form it back to a shape that will look appealing on a flat surface. I am in the process of returning my previous purchase. When it is new, it is carefully rolled up into the box, wrapped around a cardboard cylinder, with a thin film wrapped on top of that so that you dont get a mat that is crinkled up at various points. When it is used, its highly likely to have been handled by a dude getting paid minimum who will pass off all those crinkles as acceptable. Cant blame them, either. Ive been there. You may have been, too. But I cant stand such an aesthetically pleasing mat being marred with edges that will not lie flat, instead having raised bumps all around the borders. Do yourself a favour, and just get this thing brand new. Its a beautiful compliment to any desktop setup. Make sure you have the room for it, too!

I wanted to get an extended mousepad to cover the scratchmarks made on my desk over the years, and stumbled upon Razers Goliathus after purchasing a keyboard and mouse. Im incredibly impressed by the RGB coloring, and also appreciated the way it was packaged (hard cardboard tube on the inside and surrounded by a plastic adhesive sheath). I was expecting the corners and edges to be a bit flared from the shipment and packaging process, but it rolled completely flat out of the box, and set up was incredibly easy with the Razer Synapse Software. A must buy for anyone who wants to make their work/gaming station just a bit more pleasing to the eyes.

Being a Razer RGB fan boy I had to buy this to complete my Razer setup. Oh boy does this think look and feel awesome. If you have other Razer Chroma items go ahead and spend the money. If you don’t have other Chroma stuff you should probably buy a cheaper option. My only complaint is this mouse pad is way thinner then my older non-RGB version. So it feels a little cheaper and is much more susceptible to curling/wrinkling. Mine came out of the box with a bad wrinkle on the keyboard side that took 2-3 months to flatten out.

I own both a razer keyboard and mouse (black widow and naga) and thought this would be a great wide desktop mat that would also incorporate the great chroma color system of razer. Was great for 2 months but eventually from regular adult use the color "rope" began to twist and contort within the edge of the sewn loops. It got so bad the 2 of the 4 sides would not remotely lay flat. Eventually it became un usable . With that said, I bought one for my son at the same time and his is fine, so I feel this is not a product wide issue but still something to be aware can happen.
