I bought this to work with my new (gen 7) iPad and I have not been disappointed. First, theres the look. I have two kinds of people come to my house: people that appreciate a good deal, and pretentious jerks. People in the first group have commented on the "Apple" keyboard I bought and were pleased to hear that it wasnt Apple and that I didnt have to sell a car to buy it. People in the second group have commented on my "Apple" keyboard and I just let them think I have money to burn. The setup was a breeze. Turn it on, pair with the iPad, done. We just leave it sitting there and it works when we need it, it goes to sleep when we dont need it. Its been running on the same set of batteries for months and hasnt missed a keystroke. There are plenty of options out there for a bluetooth keyboard, but this hits the sweet spot of look, price and functionality.

I am using this keyboard with an iPad mini. Description: I selected the white option. The keys are white with dark grey lettering on the keys. The face of the keyboard is painted silver. The back of the keyboard is white . It looks well made. It does not feel cheap or flimsy. The size is perfect Its about 1/3 longer than my Ipad mini. the keys are well spaced. The keys DO make noise! The noise is a clackity clack noise...defiantly would be heard in a low noise ( library ) environment. The keys respond VERY well! I have detected no lag. I am not using many of the function keys . I can tell what it does when you misspell a word. It puts a redline under the misspelled word and you then touch the screen to select a replacement word. It does NOT offer predictive spelling. This keyboard uses AAA batteries. I think this is an excellent option as many low priced electronic items with built in batteries do not last. The battery case is on the back of the keyboard. The battery case is built into a ledge that slightly angles the keyboard. I much prefer the upward angle rather than the keyboard being totally flat. Usage : It works perfectly! This is one of the BEST items I have ever purchased for my tablet. I already loved my iPad mini but this has taken my enjoyment to another level. Overall, This is an almost ( noise ) a perfect product! If your in the market for a cheap functional keyboard to pair with your tablet this one is amazing! This would make an impressive gift for any tablet user.

Second update: Omoton saw my first update to my review when I changed it to 1 star, and they contacted me and sent me a new keyboard free of charge. The new one works perfectly and has for several days now. So Im back to my original review, and Im also happy to say their customer service is wonderful. I even bought one in white for my sons new iPad and he got it today and loves it. Update: I adored this at first. Then it stopped recognizing keys. The A key was first, then Z. So its not usable now :( This is a fantastic keyboard, especially considering the incredibly low price. Its actually pretty solid and sturdy feeling. I had no trouble linking it to my iPad (9.7 in Pro) and it immediately worked perfectly. I have been using it for several days now and have no complaints. Last night it did temporarily stop recognizing the "a" key, but I turned it off and restarted the iPad and it is back to working normally. I had never before gotten a keyboard for my iPad because I didnt find it necessary, but I started using it to take review notes for medical board studying and decided to try this out. I absolutely love having a keyboard and I have realized now how versatile the iPad truly is. Im especially looking forward to the iOS 11 update. My only trouble is that it is not very easy to transport because Im afraid it will get smushed somehow. I might try to figure out some sort of protective case for it. That said, its so inexpensive that I could also buy a second and keep one at work and one at home. Oh, also its pretty loud so I wouldnt try to use it for taking notes during a class or in another setting where the noise would be disruptive. For my purposes the noise doesnt matter. I highly recommend this keyboard. If for some reason it stops working or I have trouble with it I will update my review.

First impression: Packaging was secure and compact. The keyboard is protected very well during shipping. The blue packaging is thick and I like that it protects the box from moisture or water damage. Keyboard: Upon opening the keyboard I placed 2 AAA batteries then switched the keyboard on, and pressed the connect. The keyboard connected right away to my iPad Pro. Works flawlessly with all of my apps. Keys are tactile, and don’t require much pressure to depress. They are also not very noisy, it’s comparable to my current MacBook 2012 version. Once you type in the connection code you don’t have to do it again, the keyboard will be saved on your iPad and the keyboard will connect to the iPad automatically when turned on. When the iPad goes on battery auto save mode, it picks up and turns back on immediately to resume typing. This has become an essential for my class lectures everyday. Integration with iPad and typing: I actually prefer typing on the iPad than on my MacBook! With this keyboard typing on the iPad Pro is easy, and I can type much faster than I would if I were using the iPad itself. I also like that I can lay my iPad flat and still use the pen and keyboard at the same time. It’s also nice that when typing on the iPad, it has the autocorrect feature with I really like for when taking notes during lectures. Overall a great buy, and it’s super light and easy to take in a bag. I will be updating if there are any changes but other than that it’s great! I’ll be taking it along with me to school :).

Youre probably like me and didnt want to spend a buttload of money for an actual Apple keyboard. This product fits the same design language, at a fraction of the cost. In terms of the build quality, it feels really well put together. The keys are tactile, yet soft like a pre 2016 mbp. The board underneath the keys feels like actual aluminum. The battery space props up the keyboard at a comfortable typing angle. Whoever designed this knockoff version has a sense of human factors and ergonomics. I typically use this keyboard for light internet use/when Im using drawing applications, so maybe I dont run into any problems with my keys not functioning. I havent had any major issues with bluetooth connectivity on my Apple Ipad Pro (gen 1) except a few hiccups every now and then. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a cheap alternative to the $150 Apple version.

I spent a lot of money for many keyboards over the last 30 years, some I loved and this one I LOVE. it paired great with my IPad Pro and I love it for how nice the keys feel and light for couch potato days when laying on the couch and on the computer is about all I want to do. I have only had it for a few days...but I feel OMOTON is a good name and I believe the keyboard will outlast the IPAD.

I got this little keyboard so I could give my poor thumbs a break. I keep it on my counter so I can plug my iPad in when I need to. Great for writing emails, etc.

I bought this keyboard for my 12.9 inch iPad Pro and it works great. I didn’t buy the Apple keyboard to compare, but the build quality is very solid. The keys have a nice amount of feedback and it is very easy to type on them. They do make a bit of noise but it isn’t any more than any standard keyboard out there. The function buttons on the top are awesome. The top left will bring you to the home screen, top right locks your iPad, plus it has buttons for brightness, volume, previous/next track, pause/mute, take a screenshot, search (although it only brings up the Siri search and won’t work in apps). Plus, you have functionality that will be familiar to users of traditional desktops/laptops: you can use Cmd + Tab to tab between open programs and when typing you can highlight by word or by row using Shift + Cmd or Shift + Option. The only iOS functionality that doesn’t seem to work exactly the same is the delete key, as holding it down is pretty slow to delete characters one by one, but I would just use Shift + Cmd/Option anyway as it is much faster. The only thing (which isn’t really a complaint about the keyboard as it is about iOS in general) is that there is no shortcut to open the Emoji keyboard. You can press the function key F5 to open the standard digital keyboard on the iPad, but then you need to press the emoji button in the bottom left. It would be nice if there was some shortcut that would automatically pull up the emoji keyboard. Compared to Apple keyboard: + Has function keys on the top row (Apple’s doesn’t have any) + Much, much cheaper (by a factor of 10: $16 versus $160) - Doesn’t fold up into a case, so it has to be carried separately Really unless you are traveling with your iPad all the time and want the convenience of having the keyboard fold up into a case, I don’t see any point in buying the Apple keyboard. You also lose out on the function keys so people (like me) who keep their iPad at home won’t see any benefit from using it.

Great Bluetooth Keyboard. I bought an IPad Pro and I wanted a keyboard to use with it!! This had good reviews and was inexpensive so I would give it a try. What I like about it is it pairs very easily. After a while of not being in use it powers down automatically and you do have a power switch also. Plus it looks great with the iPad pro on the stand !!

What an amazing product. This keyboard is perfect for everything. I take it everywhere with me and even while I’m home. I use it on my TV tray in the living room. I use it on my bed tray in the bed. And it pairs so well with the stand this company sells. You think the keyboard is good well the company customer service is even better. My keyboard started glitching when I typed. No telling why, I couldn’t fully blame the key board because this keyboard is small and simple and a breeze to type on and my kids stayed on it every chance they could. So they probably typed way too much and caused the issues. Either way I just sent the company an email with what was wrong and how I loved it so much and needed another. They shipped one out the very next day. Way cool on there part. I recommend and will purchase again .
