I have 2 main complaints with this keyboard. The first is that it wont hook up with the unifying receiver for my mouse, which is a year or so old. The mouse will not connect with the unifying receiver for this keyboard. Its frustrating. Maybe I just need to go to Logitech website and get new drivers but that seems to defeat the purpose of having unifying receivers. Second, the finger guides are nearly non-existent. I regularly type 70-90 wpm and can manage that with this keyboard if I visually check my finger placement periodically but I dont like that. I cant easily reach out and start typing because I cant be 100% sure of my placement by feel. And dont even get me started on the 10-key guide, it might as well not even exist. If this was for work Id return it in a heartbeat. Since its just for casual home use Ill keep it but Im a little disappointed.

I had to buy this one because it was the only one that would pair with my wireless mouse without spending a lot of money. Like other reviewers have said, the quality of the construction and action of the keys is below what you would expect from the premium brand name of Logitech. I do a lot of typing, and the loose, wiggly feel of the keys is not what you want for fast, efficient productivity. It feels like a cheap keyboard. The problem with the space bar not registering taps was also an issue for a while until my hand learned to adjust to it. If you do a lot of typing, you can do better than this particular model.

They keyboard is just ok and does what it is supposed to do but the base is white and maybe i missed that in the product description and the it just is not very solid! I used an older Dell corded keyboard and replaced it with this one but the Dell just had a nice feel when you typed and it for lack of a better way of putting, smooth and solid when you typed. I definitely would NOT buy this keyboard again but I do not dislike it enough to return it but it just seems cheaply made and the thing is I would have paid more to get a better one if I had known.

I bought this with the hope that it would work with the Unifying reciever that I was getting with this mouse here: Logitech Wireless Performance Mouse MX for PC and Mac, Large Mouse, Long Range Wireless Mouse There were some reviews that said it would not work. Mine worked perfectly. I plugged it in (the unifying receiver from the mouse) and the mouse worked instantly. Then I google searched for the software. Found it and downloaded it. Once installed, it guided me through the process and was up and running within 2 minutes. Simple and easy. The one thing I am confused about is this keyboard did not come with a receiver itself. Atleast that I can find. But I did not need or want one so everything is good for me.

Pretty much the lowest cost Logitech wireless keyboard with unifying receiver you can get. Oddly there is another one out there also called a K270 that comes with a non-unifying receiver. Dont be fooled, get this one. I wish it had a few more dedicated media control buttons but fortunately you can reprogram the row of special-function buttons at the top using the SetPoint software. So I reprogrammed the Home button as seek-start and the Email button as seek-end. Good enough for my purposes.

I found it tricky to pair the new Logitech keyboard and unifying receiver to my Logitech older wireless mouse under Ubuntu 16.04. But its not hard when you know how. 1. Using the Ubuntu software application, download and install the Solaar application. The only thing this app does is manage Logitech unifying receivers, nothing else. 2. Plug in the old and new unifying receiver into USB ports. 3. Start the Saar application. You should see both unifying receivers, with the old device on the old receiver and the new device on the new receiver. You might need to reboot. 4. Using the Solaar app, unpair the old device from the old receiver, then turn off the old device. 5. On the new receiver click the pair new device button, then turn the old device back on. It should be detected. Ive used Logitech devices for years, and generally liked them (I replaced the old keyboard because I dropped and broke it). I gave this new keyboard four stars only because the space bar seems a little insensitive. I havent tried it, but I understand that in Windows you must uninstall and reinstall the device driver. Good luck!

This is an easy-to-type-on keyboard. Its not silent but has a good feel and isnt very loud. Its a full-size keyboard but easily fits in my pull-out keyboard tray in my desk. I looked a long time to find a keyboard that fit the dimensions I wanted and had a good feel to the keys. I had a little bit difficultly trying to get the M510 mouse and this keyboard to both sync to the unifying receiver, but it was user error on my part. I received two USB unifying receivers since the keyboard and mouse didnt come as a set. Long story short is the keyboard was already synced to the receiver and I kept trying over and over to sync it after I downloaded the proper software to sync the keyboard and mouse to one receiver. The receiver I was using came with the keyboard so I felt really silly after I wasted so much time on something when it was already working....I just didnt bother testing it out by hitting a key!! Had I grabbed the other receiver, I would have had the opposite problem.

I have always been a fan of Logitech products, so this was an easy choice. I wanted a wireless keyboard that had more traditional keys like a wired keyboard. I prefer that over the smaller, flattered types of keys that you see on the laptop. This has the bigger keys that I wanted. The keyboard also has a very nice feel to it. Synchronizing it with my PC was as simple as plugging in the USB thing and turning the keyboard on. Another good product from Logitech. In fact, I typed this review using THIS VERY KEYBOARD!

Loving it so far. Ive had only a few Logitech wireless keyboards, but thats because mine have lasted forever. The last one I bought, I purchased in 2008 and the only reason it stopped working was because I physically broke the dongle while moving. Ill probably buy another dongle for it and use it on another computer later. Anyhow, it is very responsive, but I cant say much for the range as I cant get that far away since I cant see all that well. Ill be buying more and more of these for all of my computers. Update 6/2017 This keyboard still gets plenty of daily use, and it works like I bought it yesterday. Thanks to the unifying receiver, I only have one dongle in my computer for this and the Logitech mouse I bought. I had another model Logitech keyboard and it worked for 8 years until I broke the dongle during a move. This dongle is low profile and has a place it can be stored in the back of the keyboard, so I am sure Ill get another 8 or more years out of it. I plugged this into a friends iMac to repair her computer hoping it would work because I couldnt use her keyboard, and within seconds, the mouse and keyboard began working. Same thing when I was repairing a Chromebook. No complaints, except next time, I might get a backlit keyboard since my vision is so bad now.

I just purchased this keyboard and Logitechs wireless trackball which both sync up to the same device. I like both products but have only given them 4 stars because, when downloading the Unifying Software you need for them to operate, it also installed 2 lots of adware, 1 spyware and one PUP on my computer which slowed my computer down considerably. They were not easy to get rid of and it took me 3 hours to do so. I dont expect to buy products and then encounter the amount of aggravation and time wasted to get my computer operating again. I tried to report this on Logitechs site but they have tailored things in a way that you are unable to give any kind of feedback.
