The mouse is ok, but if you are buying it for the Logitech Flow feature, you will be VERY frustrated and disappointed. It is typical Logitech flaky features that mysteriously stops working. If you want a workflow that works and doesnt distract you from getting things done, then do not buy this for Logitech Flow. You will lose hours of your time because they did a crappy job with it.

I am giving product a negative review, considering the price point and the manufacture of this item I would expect this mouse not to be defective. The middle scroll wheel is unbalanced and when scrolling and lifting your finger off the wheel it will roll back to its balanced position instead of staying in position. As an example: the web page moves with the wheel, so when trying to select an item on the web page you remove your finger from the scroll wheel and try to select and item on the screen, the wheel rolls and the screen moves with the wheel. To get around this issue you can activate the notched wheel and it holds position. I have contacted and placed a support request with Logitech but no response. I would not waste your time or money on this MX Anywhere 2S Wireless mouse.

I love this mouse. I had the last generation of this mouse, but it was dying too frequently, maybe lasted two weeks with moderate use. So I bought this one since it has double the battery size and supposedly a 70 day battery life. It came 50% charged so well see how well it does. Pros: -Connectivity options to spare. With laptops losing ports its nice to have bluetooth as a fall back, and when Windows 10 decides to act up and not accept the bluetooth input then its nice to have the unifying receiver to work with. One thing to note, I dont know if this says it anywhere, but this is a Bluetooth 4.0LE device I know Logitech likes hiding behind some weird name like "Bluetooth Smart". I have BT 4.0 on my PC, and havent tested to see if it works with older radios. -It plays well with Android. Ever since my NotePro got lollipop (5.0), it stopped accepting mice inputs. Called Samsung and they tried to sell me on their microscopic $50 mouse. At least with this $50 you know youre getting great quality. -Love that I can toggle between 3 devices. Cons: -Minor one is that the "Middle Click" is gone, that toggles the scroll wheel state from free to ratchet. As a result they added a button below the scroll wheel which by default is a gesture activation button, havent tried it out. I just went into the software and changed it to middle click. The other annoying thing is that its awkward to hit and not easily doable. I imagine if you have small hands, not an issue, but with my medium male hands, its not great. -The 2S did away with a "connect" button on the underside. The MX 2 has that button. I like that button since it makes setting up pairing easy and means there isnt an annoying button combo one has to remember when pairing since the power is tied to a toggle switch. Normally with like Bluetooth speakers and headphones, the power is a button and depending how long you press it it determines if it enters pairing mode. This being a switch removes that dual feature of the power button. It feels the same and operates the same as the MX 2 before it. Havent messed with the "Flow" feature, and will have to see if the battery can withstand my testing. I used to be a huge fan of M510 by them, but only having 3 mouse ports made it annoying having to sacrifice one for a mandatory unifying receiver. For me this mouse is the perfect size, for larger hands, cant say. The back of it juts so high that I think thats what helps make it fit better in multiple hand sizes. Good mouse, with all the buttons you could want for and okay enough software for extended customisation options. The only issue with Logitech Options is that it has a battery level indicator, but its super vague and when youre charging the mouse it wont tell you how long until its full. Wont even display charge level percentage. BT 3.0 was built with that option on offer to companies and it has been an option since 3.0, so 4.0 clearly has that feature and the mouse vaguely takes care of it by giving you vague responses and a near useless battery indicator. Percentage at least. Note: Any future updates, revelations and what not will be listed in the comments since Amazon gets rather fickle when it comes to people updating reviews. Sometimes they dont accept the changes. UPDATE: Battery Life Test Claims: 70 days worth, but if you read the manual thats 70 days worth at 8hrs per day or 560hrs max total. My Discover: Around 450hrs My Setup and Use Case: - April 6th got it and used it since then - So about 30 days in, 20% battery life; -30 days at 12hrs average use per day = 360. - 20% = 1/5 left so 5-1= 4. - 360/4 = 90; 90+360= 450 max projected life span -Im using a 3M mouse pad that is said to increase the battery life of optical mice by a max of 80% -Connected via BlueTooth, not bad. Lasted more than a month, but far from the 70days or 560hrs max total. Maybe you can squeeze more out of it if you use the Unifying receiver, I doubt it. Also this has the same battery size as the last generation mouse (500mA)

I am a huge Logitech fan - but would completely stay away from this steaming piece of cr@p. The Good: This mouse is nice build quality, great battery life, works well on glass (which is the only reason why I bought it at the inflated price point). The Bad: It flakes out and the scroll wheel (horizontal and vertical) works intermittently. It is also not compatible with the Logitech software that allows you to change settings. Basic mouse function always seems to work ok - but horizontal and vertical scrolling works intermittently / quits working at the most inopportune times. If you go on the Logitech website these issues are well know by users - but Logitech fails to acknowledge or address the issues. Summary: It may get better if they update the firmware/software - but for now dont waste your money - buy something else.

I ordered this with an MX Master 2S (for a good friend). They arrived in three days in the same box. The MX Anywhere was easy to set up with both my 2015 and 2017 MacBook Pros. It’s much more form fitting and easy on my wrist than Apple’s Magic Mouse 2. The MX Anywhere is great because it does everything the Magic Mouse 2 can do with its middle button and a few motion gestures. All YouTube reviews I’ve watched before this purchase said the same thing about the functionality being superb to other mice, and the single thing that sets it apart is the ability to switch between multiple devices. The software needed to use this function is called Logitech Options. I wish they had put a scannable barcode on the package so you could easily navigate straight to the download page. But it’s still easy to find and at only 16 MBs, you won’t be dealing with bloat ware. The Bluetooth connection is quick and simple, the responsiveness is very satisfactory, and switch from computer to computer is seamless. I recommend this to anyone using multiple computers at a time for professional or recreational work.

This mouse works well. Bluetooth pairing the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S mouse with computers running OSX 10.12.x or Windows 10 was quick and easy. The Logitech Flow functions work well, allowing me to seamlessly pass the mouse control between computers running OSX and Windows. This is a medium sized mouse that will not fill an adult palm. Its great for travel. Im happy with this purchase. Logitech Flow- 1. Requires both computers have the Logitech options (Flow) application installed 2. Requires both computers are connected to the same network *I do have security concerns regarding Logitech Flow. While the ability to copy/paste files from one computer to the other worked well during testing, I imagine the Flow application could be compromised by attackers operating on the same network.

Edit: Ive used this mouse for about 2 months now. Everything below is still accurate. The one negative I found is the darned on/off switch. Logitech could have done a better job designing it. ALL of my other Logitech devices (5 currently, and others that were upgraded as they wore out), including past Anywhere mice, have easy to use on/off switches. This one takes some effort and a fingernail to operate. Logitech, please redesign this. I knocked one star for this. Ive noticed that some of the reviewers have commented about this mouse feeling like it is cheaply made. Im holding my old Anywhere MX mouse and my new MX Anywhere 2S in each hand. The only difference I notice is the new mouse is lighter - since it doesnt have 2 AA batteries in it. The new 2S version has its own built-in battery. The clicks and button all feel about the same to me. As far as performance goes between the two mice, the 2S feels slightly more exact. I also prefer the new lower profile wireless dongle. It stays in my computer 24/7. The lower profile helps to keep me from bumping it on something or breaking it off. This is now my 3rd Anywhere mouse. I keep them for a number of years until the buttons wear out. When that happens, I upgrade. While I have no thoughts on the new "Flow" control and will likely never use it, this mouse seems every bit as good or better than my other two older versions - and no more carrying around a spare set of AA batteries!. Hope this helps...

I gave the 2S a try after my Microsoft Arc mouse buttons began dying. Ive used Logitech for years, and always appreciated the innovation in the amount and placement of configurable buttons. All of their mice ave also fit well in the palm of my hand. My main mouse is currently a Performance MX, and I figured the mobile mouse would work when Im not at my desk. Unfortunately, while the quality and button functionality is great, there are a couple of issues leading to my returning it after a few hours of use. The Good: - Its small. You can easily put this in a bag and know you have room. Its also great for small hands. - The software installed with the mouse is excellent, its clear what buttons do and how to configure them. - It tracks well on any surface I used in my home. Could be improved: - Itd be nice if there were a place to store the bluetooth dongle - The profile is significantly lower than other Logitechs, including the predecessor to this one. You palm wont rest well on this. - The scroll click turns the ratchet on/off, which is different from every other Logitech where the middle click is fired. I couldnt get used to clicking the button below the scroll wheel for middle click, its just too far away. - The right and left mouse button clicks are really loud. Maybe this would get better over time, but theyre much louder than any Logitech Ive used in the past. Unfortunately I only had it for a day, so I cant talk to long term use or battery life. Overall, if youve never used a Logitech before most of these things wont bother you. Its great for people with smaller hands, or when you really need a very small mouse. I use mine for hours, and know I wouldnt be able to use this one correctly.

UPDATE: I feel duty bound to update/change my original 5 star rating for this mouse. The best I can offer now is 3 stars and thats only because it does work on a single PC. The reason? After using this mouse for a few days, I have a different opinion of it. Here is what I can say with certainty: 1. On my setup (fairly new Windows 10 desktop PC and fairly new MacBook Pro running High Sierra), the MX works great on my PC. It really and truly cant be said to work at all on the Mac. It DOES pair and move the cursor about on the Mac but "moving the cursor" is a bit of a stretch. What it actually does, is "fling the cursor" all over the screen. It sends the cursor willy-nilly in all directions and as far as it can get in whatever direction pleases it. There is essentially zero user ability to control cursor movement accurately and no amount of fiddling with the mouse preferences/setup helps 2. I have paired it to the Mac using Bluetooth and with the Logitech "unifying transceiver." Cursor behavior is the same regardless of how pairing is done 3. Relating to "Flow," I would absolutely love that feature if the mouse worked. It will move the cursor (and any copied files) between computers just like Logitech says it should but the problem is you cant predict where the files will land when the cursor arrives at the second computer. What you CAN predict is that the cursor will NOT be anywhere close to where you wanted it to be and you will have one devil of a time getting the cursor to drop the file (or click on anything) with any precision whatsoever Im keeping the mouse because it does work on my PC, but the real reason I bought it was for FLOW, which, sadly, does not work satisfactorily ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this mouse for two reasons. 1. I wanted to eliminate at least two cables from my desktop. Mission accomplished 2. I wanted to use the same mouse on my Mac and PC (via what Logitech calls "Flow"). Again, mission accomplished This mouse is a keeper

Purchased 12/17/17 as an XMas gift. Would not scroll windows on 3 different Macs and a PC. The mechanism worked fine, it just did not actually scroll on the computer. Im currently going through Logitech support to get a replacement sent through warranty. Kind of an annoying thing to find out on Christmas day...
