Ive been using this set daily for about 6 months now. I loved it at first... but have begun to have major response issues with both the keyboard AND the mouse. Since I work in graphic design and often need major precision... this is a big problem. It will just freeze up & then be ok, and freeze up again. As other reviews have said, the keyboard occasionally has lag issues and the shift & ctrl keys struggle from time to time. The USB is not too far away, and I have also tried fresh batteries. :( I guess this set is not as good as I hoped. Revised my original review from 3 stars to 1 after a few more months of use. The keys got slower to respond, prone to freeze-up and super frustrating. Im really over it. In order for me to continue working, I had to switch back to a plug in set.

Well, the reviews were mostly positive but my experience has been the opposite of many. The layout of the keys feels off and there is not enough edge to the keys for typing to feel natural and often find myself looking at the keys to adjust my hand placement. That likely speaks more to my typing ability than to the keyboard itself, but it is still annoying. More annoying is the fact that the area where your palms rest will scroll my entire screen down if I happen to put too much pressure on it. My final annoyance is that today the keyboard rattles with every single keystroke like something internally is loose. I have had the keyboard 2 months and will likely go back to my old keyboard within hours. This is second rate junk made as cheaply as possible and any other features are meaningless when the basic functionality is so crummy.

The Set Point software does not work with the mouse. The new "Options" app doesnt support pointer acceleration. I have the same model number mouse from five years ago which uses Set Point instead of Options, and it has acceleration. I can move my wrist 1/2 inch and fly from one end of my two screens to the other, whereas with the new options software, it takes 3 wrist motions for the pointer to travel the same distance. Obviously this is going to cause significant wear and tear on my wrist, so as it is, the product is unusable. Also, the new mouse does not work on my white desktop surface, whereas my old mouse works no problem on this surface. I have not tested exhaustively because I only use this mouse in one place, but this is also discouraging. I dont even know if I should waste my time solving the acceleration issue if I have to deal with this secondary issue too. It is nuts that a five year old product which is starting to fail is STILL far superior to the new "identical" product just received. Very disappointed that I wasted my money on this upgrade. The keyboard is nice.

I use this wireless keyboard/mouse combo for general computer usage, no gaming. Had it maybe a month now. For the most part it works well, but at times will freeze and not respond, or it will lag dramatically, and sometimes the mouse will just disappear from the screen. Every now and then I will be typing away and no letters will appear on the screen. Then suddenly, a few seconds later, my typing appears all at once. Ive found that if the board or mouse begins lagging, I just turn them off and back on and everything is fine. This is an irritant to me, but it would be a total disaster for someone needing constant, perfect response, like gamers. Ive seen similar complaints on other wireless combos, so maybe its just the nature of wireless USB keyboard/mouse sets. Although I have a K400 wireless keyboard/track pad that I use with my HTPC, and it works flawlessly. But you cant use a track pad for some uses. Update: A couple more weeks of use and realize this is absolute crap. With fresh batteries I get keyboard freezing, "stuttering" mouse, just all-around bad performance. Switching back to a cabled mouse because I need accurate tracking. Took another star off my review. Update to my update: Have been using this keyboard/mouse combo for a number of months now, and I keep removing stars from my review. I am at the point where I would give it a minus ten if I could. Absolutely infuriating that the keyboard constantly hangs and freezes on me. Same with the mouse. I assume it is probably a USB conflict, and maybe its just my computer, but if it is happening on my computer Im sure others are experiencing the same. Ive switched back to cabled keyboard and mouse.

Update to prvious post (I decided to not correct the keyboard errors in this post)... Now the "r" key is working intermittently. My previous review was 2 stars but it has dropped to 1 star. Thee doesnt seem to be a very broad selection of highly atd keyboards on Amazon, so Im not sure what my next stp is for a keyboard. Previous post... This is part comment, part question for the seller. I was happy with the keyboard and mouse up until earlier this week, when the "e" key started to intermittently not work. The comment is that Im not happy that Ive had the product 6 months and a key is not working. Ive had other keyboards that Ive replaced after several years and this problem hadnt occurred. The question for the seller is what recourse I have other than buying a different brand keyboard. (The issue happened 3 times during the typing of this review. I thought about leaving out the missing "e"s for greater effect!)
