Logitech M535 Bluetooth Mouse – Compact Wireless Mouse with 10 Month Battery Life works with any Bluetooth Enabled Computer, Laptop or Tablet running Windows, Mac OS, Chrome or Android, Gray
I wanted a compact travel mouse for use with a notebook which has limited USB ports so I have been looking for the perfect Bluetooth solution. I have tried a couple of different Bluetooth mice already but I wanted something smaller. The description on Amazon mentions the word "compact" and states the size is "2 x 3 x 1 in" so when the Logitech M535 arrived I was surprised to see it was closer to 4 inches long and not much smaller than a regular full size mouse. The mouse works great and paired immediately. It has a good weight and feel but the size is not quite what I expected so only 4 stars. I have attached a picture alongside my Logitech M187 mini mouse to show the difference in size.

I wanted a Bluetooth mouse for a new laptop that had limited USB ports. I really liked this mouse ( Logitech m535) upon receiving it. It worked very well and was comfortable to use. I was so confident that I wanted to keep it that I threw away the packaging. A few days later it stopped working. It shows that it is paired with my laptop but it will not connect. After spending hours trying to solve the problem I contacted Logitech and they told me that it wasnt compatible with the newest Windows 10 build I have, which is Windows 10 Home, Ver. 1803, OS build 17134.191. Only solution is to wait and see if it becomes compatible with a future build. So beware that if you buy this mouse at some point it may no longer work as your computer updates. I have 3 other mice, a keyboard, a headset, and 2 webcams from Logitech so this experience is disappointing. Hope this helps others with their decision in purchasing this mouse.

Ive been a MacBook Pro user for ~10 years and have always had a small wireless mouse to use at my desk and take on travel. The new MacBooks only come with USB-C ports and my previous Logitech mouse required a USB-A unifying receiver for its wireless connection. To use my previous mouse (which I really liked) with the new MacBook, I would have to add a USB-C adapter, which was kind of annoying. Since this new mouse connects over Bluetooth, I no longer need a unifying receiver nor a USB-C adapter. This mouse is really amazing ... I just enable on Bluetooth, turn on the mouse, ... and it just works!

I bought this mouse on impulse. I have an M557 paired to my laptop that has been serving me well for a few years now, but I like the design of Logitechs new mice (I have an M330 Silent that I use with my desktop that I absolutely love and if they release a "Silent" version of this mouse, Im getting it!). I had no issues pairing the M535 with my Asus laptop and all functions/features respond well. This mouse is configured by the new Logitech Options software which feels a lot more simplified than the original SetPoint software. The button configuration is good as is, but I like to have the center mouse button pull up the Start Menu, so that was the only change. The sensor is accurate and properly responsive. I prefer a quicker mouse pointer, so a small increase there and Im golden. Its definitely a travel size mouse, about the same size as the M557 only differing in the shape and texture. The matte finish on the buttons and rubberized surround give it a great in-hand feel. Like most Logitech mice it tracks smoothly (especially on my gaming mouse pad which is geared toward low friction). It is certainly lighter than the M557, as it only seats a single AA battery as opposed to the pair used by the M557. This is a subjective characteristic though, as users will differ in their preference regarding weight. On the subject of connectivity, I think Ive already sorted all of that out with the M557. I used to experience dropped connections, but after searching onilne, I found a remedy focusing on the OSs networking and Bluetooth settings, preventing power and connections to be disabled (for battery savings and performance). With that in mind, the M535 has performed well and has never missed a movement or click. The main reason I opt for Bluetooth mice on my laptop, as many do, is to keep the USB ports free. This mouse, like the one before it, serves this purpose exactly. For anyone interested, make sure that your laptop/desktop is Bluetooth capable, otherwise youll end up having to buy a separate Bluetooth dongle to connect the mouse, thus defeating the purpose of keeping the ports free. If this is the case, look into the M335, its the same mouse using Logitechs wireless nano USB receiver.

I just returned a Mac Magic Mouse because it wouldnt stay connected to my MacBook Pro. I still wanted a bluetooth mouse, but having previously bought the Logitech Bluetooth model M557, which was an awful mouse, I was hesitant to even try the M535. The reviews on the M535 seemed better, and I figured Logitech had improved the mouse, so decided to go ahead and order it. Good decision -- and I saved a lot of money versus the Magic Mouse. Ive been using this mouse for about five hours today, stopping periodically for 20-30 minutes, and have had no disconnects so far. My other mouse, the Logitech M510 (uses a unifying USB port) has been and will remain my favorite mouse, mainly due to its slightly larger size and weight (it takes two batteries and the M535 takes only one). However, I still find the M535 comfortable to use, and not annoyingly over-responsive. If it proves durable, I think Im going to like this mouse a lot. Now, if only Logitech would come out with a bluetooth keyboard with a numeric keypad. Im currently using their wireless solar keyboard -- which is a great keyboard that Ive had almost two years and its still charging just fine -- but it does require using a USB port, something that Apple seems to want to slowly but surely eliminate from our lives.

There are pros and cons about this product, with it tilting toward the negative with my 3-star rating (I maybe would have put 2½ stars if I could have). PROS: lightweight, just the right size for my hand, feels "compact" but not too small. It was easy to pair with my computer, no noticeable "lag," seems to work on most surfaces (even upholstery, or on the back of my 3-ring notebook). It is a very good option for an on-the-go application like using with a laptop and fits in my bag well (it might be even better if it was a little less thick, but it actually feels thinner than the picture shows it to be, so I really cant complain about that). I also like the "gesture" button on the top that is just below the scroll wheel (it is a handy feature and you can program it to SO MANY different operating system tasks—the default command for the gesture button is to open up the "virtual desktop" view in Windows 8/10, which I like since I use it with a laptop in class and need to switch windows quickly and seamlessly). I also like the Logitech software that comes with it (you can download it easily off the web), which allows a lot of customization of the mouse. CONS: the clicks are pretty LOUD, and I dont know of a way to lower the sound like some of the mouse options claim to have the ability to do. The loudness of the clicks is not always a problem, but if you are using this in a work environment or classroom setting with were silence is key, it feels a little too loud in that setting, and I am constantly worried people around me are thinking Im making too much noise. I had a classmate ask me to stop using this mouse in class because it was "too loud" and was distracting her. I have barely used it since this happened

Mouse connected and paired but was not operative on my Dell Inspiron 11 running Windows 10. Device manager showed the correct device driver was installed and enabled. Surprisingly, this mouse did function correctly if my USB wired mouse was connected on this computer, but who needs two mice? Requests via email for support from Logitech have gone unanswered. So both product and manufacturer are unresponsive. Item to be returned for another brand that can support their products.

This is a pretty solid little travel mouse. The navigation button is a great feature as I can customize a press plus 4 different gestures to do things like pull up applications, skip songs, etc. Combined with the side-tilting on the scroll-wheel, the mouse has a lot of functionality for such a small package. Unfortunately, the M353 has some major drawbacks in the scrolling and optical sensor. The scroll wheel is absurdly sensitive, and I find I cannot use the mouse without unwanted scrolling. Only when I make an effort to not touch the scroll wheel at all can I avoid it scrolling the page. The optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse works reasonably well, but it has trouble with different surfaces as normal as wood. It is also overly sensative. I find that when I pick up the mouse to move it and set it back down before continuing to move it in the same direction, the mouse picks up the movement when lifted as much as half a cementer above the surface. This gets very annoying because I am trying to move the mouse further to one side, but it jumps back the other direction when I pick it up to continue moving the pointer.

As others have stated in there reviews this mouse checks out to nowhere land whenever it desires. no rhyme or reason. I have tried two of them. The first was a new mouse in retail packaging. The second was a refurbished mouse in a generic package. The refurbished mouse actually stays working for a longer period of time before it fails. It will also check back in all by itself. I hate to give bad reviews but when two of them have the same problem it is warranted. I have used Logitech mouses before on this same computer with no problems. I just wanted one that did not require a USB adapter so I chose this mouse.

I had not problem connecting this device to my Bluetooth enabled Chromebook, however, the link given to download the program for configuring this device led to an error message that said the page doesnt exist. Also - and as others have said - the scroll wheel is very jumpy. So, I contacted customer support at Logitech. In the process I found out that there really is no page currently to download the program that would make it possible for me to configure its behavior. I was also told that there IS no program for Chrome OS for doing that...only MAC and Windows. :/ It was suggested there is something wrong in the device itself if the wheel is jumping, but considering how many other people here have complained about this issue, I suspect its just a crappy scroll wheel period. Im going to return this one and search for a replacement that I hope will work better.
