My 2 year old Kensington mouse had become unresponsive so I decided to go with a Logitech this time and I wanted a large mouse similar in size to my Kensington. This is definitely not a large mouse as you can see in the picture placed next to my old Kensington. It might be comfortable for my 5 foot girl friend, but I am 61" and have average sized hands and they dwarf this mouse so I have to hold it with my finger tips which is very uncomfortable. It seems to be very responsive and would be great if it was as described, but will definitely be going back. What a waste of time for a $15 item!

So far Im happy with the M330 Silent Plus. Am I in love with it? Kind of. The quiet clicking takes a little getting used to. All the other Logitech mice I have feature the traditional clicks, so this was a bit of an adjustment. You dont realize how much your hearing is involved in using a mouse until that aspect is almost entirely removed. The tactile response is excellent, though it too is a bit "muted" in comparison to standard mouse clicks. The overall design of the mouse is good for fingertip or claw grip users, but for palm grip it may prove a bit small. I wear a medium mens glove and if I palm the mouse, my fingers are basically sitting at the far end of the buttons. Fortunately for me Im a fingertip grip user. This is a right handed mouse, with a deep groove on the left for the thumb and a downward slant from the left mouse button to the right. The only design feature I would change on this mouse would be to fill the groove on the right side, changing it from a concave to a convex and rounding out that right edge. I find that the sharp right edge is not a "happy" place for my ring finger and I have found myself undecided where to place said finger in the few days Ive been using it. Maybe an update in the future. It works with the Logitech Unifying Software so I was able to pair it to the dongle of my K520 keyboard and leave the new one in the mouse. However, the M330 isnt supported by Logitechs SetPoint like the keyboard and other Logitech mice I have. Instead, I had to install "Logitech Options" which is a new control panel designed around the Windows 10 platform. This isnt a break point, but it would have been nice if the new software supported the keyboard, so there would only be one program encompassing both Logitech products. Im happy with the noise reduction and function of the mouse. Its actually quieter than the keyboard. Others have stated that the scroll wheel is loud, but I disagree. I will admit, it is louder than my Logitech G403s (gaming mouse) scroll wheel, but not by much and not enough to qualify it as "loud". All the clicks register at about the same volume with the scrolling sound just a bit higher. It tracks smoothly and it glides well on the surface of my gaming mouse pad. My overall feel is that this is a genuinely good mouse that just takes a bit of "getting used to".

This mouse saved my husband’s head from injuries that could have been caused by my throwing things at him because he plays video games that require a million clicks per minute (+/-5) and it’s enough to drive a person insane. Logitech has made a great product that I would definitely purchase in the future if necessary. I know he wishes it were wireless but he’ll survive. I’ve used the mouse as well, as I have to use his computer from time to time, and I love the “soft” feeling of the click of the mouse. The wheel is a little difficult for me to use - it feels a little harder than I think it should - but my husband hasn’t had even a tiny complaint about it. Totally worth it, folks - it will save your sanity and possibly your marriage.

This is by far one of my favorite wireless mouse ive used. I am a big fan of noises from my computer accessories, whether that be my corsair gaming mouse to my cherry mx blue mechanical keyboard. Unfortunately, I am also very anal about respecting other peoples and my space. At home, those noises are music to my ears, but in class or the library it is unacceptable. This is virtually silent, but the feedback from pressing is still satisfying. It doesnt feel like a cherry mx red switch if I were to compare mech keyboard noise and feel. I use this as a daily driver anytime I am away from my personal computer. It is a simple plug and play device. I use it on my surface pro 3. The grip is fantastic. I have about a medium size hand. The mouse is smooth and soft. The Battery life is long! The scroll also acts as a third button, which I use very often, and scrolling is also very smooth. My major gripe with this is the lack of software support. Meaning that the sensitivity is in only one setting. This is fine on my surface pro 3, which a 12 in. screen. The problem is when I connect it to a bigger monitor, a 24 in. The lack of sensitivity is very noticeable. On my personal gaming mouse I use on my PC, the dpi goes up to 12000 dip (Corsair m65 pro). This one min/max at 1000 dpi. I use my personal mouse at 8000 dpi. So im working with almost 13% speed of what I use at home on a pc monitor. So other than the sluggish DPI on large monitors. Remember that resolution and screen size both take into play. When I used both surface pro 3 and my 24 in. monitor at 1080p, the mouse was same speed but because the real estate was bigger on the monitor, It took longer for me to get to one end of the screen to the next. When I bumped up the surface resolution to 1440p, i noticed some difference in the speed of the mouse, but because the screen is small it didnt matter too much. Just remember, if youre using a 13in laptop or smaller regardless of resolution (except 4k), this mouse will work perfect. Anything bigger from 15in monitors to extended monitors, you will notice a difference especially when you upgrade to 2k or 4k resolution. My last smaller thing, but I miss every time i use this mouse, is the back and forward button. Having to actually move the cursor to go back on pages or forward is annoying! The buttons are a luxury i never noticed i had before using this mouse. So its just an extra step when browsing the web, but not a big deal as long as you have a smaller screen, low resolution monitor. Having to keep going to the corner to go back on a extended monitor with 2k resolution is a pain in the butt. I have to use the whole mouse pad from one corner to the other (large mouse pad). Overall, highly recommended. Ill probably also get a more expensive programmable wireless mouse for my HP Spectre 4k 15in laptop soon, but mouse still kicks butt.

The clicks are super silent. In library in college you wont hear it if you dont notice it. Youll be able to feel the clicks but they are damped and are unbelievably silent. Both left, right, and middle clicks are quiet. I believe the middle click is the loudest out of the others but its not loud enough to be detected by anyone else around you. The size of the mouse was quiet smaller than I imagined. I placed it over some sticky notes and its slightly larger than the length of the sticky note. The response time from click to screen is almost as fast as a wired connection. Depending on your screens delay time you wont be able to tell that theres a delay when using this mouse. The texture is comparable to high-grit sandpaper. Its very smooth and grippy. There are no glossy spots so wont have issue with fingerprints showing up. There is an invisible laser on the bottom so there will be no visible light being emitted to track the mouse. The only problem I have with this mouse is the accessibility of the USB connectors housing. Its so flush with the mouse that, even with a carved place to grip the connector, I have a difficult time getting it out. I dont have long nails so I had to use the nubs of my finger to pry it out. Its very secure so if youre afraid of it falling out for some reason, believe me, youll be spending time getting that little sucker out of there. The battery life hasnt been tested yet.

This mouse was listed as "large". It is small and that is a problem for me. Ive included a photograph to show what I mean. Ill have to hold this mouse with my fingertips which is bad since I use it a good portion of my work day. I guess it means "large for a tiny laptop mouse" or "large for a small womans hand" which is obviously confusing. The "quiet click" feature is quieter BUT it does not, as it claims, have the SAME tactile responsiveness. The muted click "feels" dramatically less "clicky" as well (I expected this because science). The most noticeable feedback from clicking is still the sound (even though it IS much quieter). I would not recommend this mouse the way it is presented. If you want a really quiet laptop mouse and you dont want it to be sized for tiny children then this is for you. If you are over 5,10, are at a desktop, or want tactile feedback, avoid this product.

On any given day, I click my computer mouse thousands of times. I suppose you become immune to all of the constant clickety clacking. Then you wonder "Do other people click this much or this loudly? Do my coworkers secretly hate my clicking? When people are talking in hushed tones at the water cooler, is it my clicking that is being discussed?" The answer is probably yes to all of those questions, and it probably goes for you too. And you know what? Its okay - because we can change all of that with the Logitech Silent Plus M330. This thing is quiet. Like, so quiet you cant hear a darn thing when you click. I honestly dont think you can call it "clicking" anymore, its so quiet. Maybe we can call it "whispering" or "shushing." Your coworkers will be confused about the sudden change in terminology but who cares? This mouse will quietly change your life for the better. (The mouse is also purported to have a 24 month battery life, but our brief torrid love affair has not advanced that far as of yet.)

Im a work-from-home dad. This arrived yesterday and I spent most of this morning at my desk with a baby asleep in my lap. Previously I was using this guy (https://www.amazon.com/Dell-M0C5U0-Scroll-Button-Optical/dp/B004XUGYMQ) and Id constantly cringe with every click or, god-forbid, double click. I have a basic keyboard (K120) that isnt the quietest, but I can at least gentle the keys down or reach over to the docked laptop if needed. Not so with the old mouse--a click is a click. But with this mouse--oh my god its so quiet and liberating. I spent the morning gleefully clicking away while the baby snoozed, with nary a toss or turn. I know others might dock a star due to a lack of features--forward/back buttons or an infinite scroll wheel do sound pretty neat--but Ive never actually used a higher end mouse, and this is a step up in every way over the basic, reliable mice Im accustomed to. Its quiet, but the clicks still feel like clicks--theyre not mushy or overly weak. The rubbery grip is nice and it looks sharp (if that matters to you--Im just mildly glad it doesnt look like a Decepticon). Based on a few hours use, Im legitimately excited about it. Now I just need a quiet keyboard to go with it.

Update: Nov. 5, 2018 Over the last year, there has been a gradual decline in the effectiveness of this mouse. As scroll bar and tracking SLOWLY declined, I became gradually trained to the dysfunctional behavior. Until I was away from my computer for a week. After coming back I realized that the scroll bar was skipping and needed multiple repeated turns to actually scroll a page. The tracking was also off, requiring more movement than necessary to get it to work. I sent a support email to Logitech and they replied back with a laundry list of tasks to perform. I did all of them to no avail, and then sent the SN and requested a replacement. I was told that the mouse was no longer under warranty, which it turns out is only 1 year. It is not listed on the Amazon website and you actually have to send an email to Amazon to get a copy of the warranty. I have been a long-term Logitech customer, and have owned many of their products, including mice, keyboards, and webcams. Up until now, all of their other products have lasted much longer.... years (well, except for one wireless keyboard, which they did replace under warranty). The mouse has daily light use for maybe 2-3 hours. It has not been dropped or thrown or had anything spilled on it. Using the regular non-silent mouse that came with the wireless Logitech mouse/keyboard is now grating. I will order another silent mouse, but will definitely look into other manufacturers first. I would recommend the 3 or 4 year extended warranty on this Logitech product. Original Review: While I dont suppose there is an truly 100% silent mouse. This one really did significantly reduce the noise. It took a bit of getting used to, but after a while I realized how obtrusive the clicky mouse was in my day-to-day life. 100% plug and play. It works great with my KVM switch and Logitech MK170 wireless keyboard/Mouse combo, which I already had. I just plugged the USB device for the silent mouse into the other KVM USB port. The mouse with the MK170 still works, but does not interfere at all with the silent mouse. I also ordered a TechHutt Ergonomic Silent Mouse to compare. While the TechHutt was pretty much the exact same level of "silence" as the Logitech mouse, I liked the feel of the Logitech mouse better and prefer that it only uses a single AA battery as opposed to the two AAA batteries on the TechHutt mouse. These are very subtle differences, but for me, it was worth the higher price. I only have two wishes: 1. That Logitech would make a silent keyboard, and 2. That they would offer the silent mouse /keyboard combo.

Ive been using wired mice since my original 1984 Macintosh. My most recent wired mouse is by Kensington -- a 3-button optical mouse -- that has served me well for many years. But too often it would skip and Id have to go hunting for my cursor, plus the wire sometimes interrupted my flow. After a lot of review-reading I decided to try the Logitech M330 wireless mouse. And it was good I read some of those reviews, otherwise I would have gone nuts trying to find the USB dongle. It was hidden in the battery compartment. Installation involved nothing more than plugging in the dongle. Started up and ran without a hiccup. After only an hour or so of use, Im glad I made the upgrade. Im not losing the cursor, theres no wire to impede my actions, and the Logitech M330 is a nice fit to my very-average-sized male hand. It has the standard, basic controls -- two buttons and a scroll wheel -- all of which work nicely. One thing I did discover -- this mouse tracks fast. I have always liked a fast-tracking mouse, but this one really zipped. I went into my System Preferences mouse controls and dialed back the mouse tracking two stops. That seems to be a comfortable setting for me. This is very early days, so no judgements on durability of battery life, but the many other reviews on this model are encouraging. For less than a twenty-dollar bill, the Logitch M330 appears to be a very good deal.
