This is a silent keyboard thats feels good to type on, and keys seem to be durable. Programmable function keys is unique to this keyboard. Function keys can be set to wide variety of commands, keystrokes, actions etc. In particular, programmers will appreciate the ability to set function key as "_". Furthermore, this can be accessed directly without pressing "Fn" key. I strongly recommend this keyboard just for this reason to anyone who is into computer programming. Other keyboards offer very limited options for function keys. Solar power prolongs battery life infinitely, can recharge in indoor lighting. On the downside, the battery or solar charging setup stopped working on my keyboard after about 2 years use. Theres no recourse but to throw away the keyboard. I strongly urge Logitech to improve on this flaw related to power source / supply circuitry. Because otherwise, its a really a great product.

It requires a bright light shining on it for it to be breaking even in amount of electricity being given over being used. This becomes a hassle because I constantly have to worry about that. Once I forgot to turn it off and when I came back, it ran out of power. As a result, I have a led lamp shining on it whenever its in use. Disconnections happen. Even in the best situations, there is a tiny delay between typing and the keyboard registering the keys compared to a wired keyboard. At worst, theres no connection at all. This happens about every hour. In between that, therell be spasms where nothing shows on the screen and then all of a suddenly it all rushes out. For any gamers out there, its nearly impossible and extremely frustrating. The low profile, scissor keys are nice. I prefer it over all the others that Ive tried, even over mechanical keyboards, but its just those few times where Im typing something else and all of a sudden nothing appears on the screen. Its a good keyboard for light use where you dont require that much typing.
