This is a great Keyboard, beautifully designed, sturdy, made with high quality materials and a gorgeous, modern look, very comfortable to use, silent, precise. It is clear Logitech put a lot of effort on this keyboard and it paid off, this is without a doubt the most beautiful, incredibly designed and so far highest quality keyboard I have ever owned, it is a pleasure to use and look at. Battery life is decent but it can be improved (more on that later) and it has a few drawbacks that avoid me to give it 5 stars. These observations shouldn’t prevent you to buy this keyboard; it is a solid buy, but just with the intention of providing constructive feedback to Logitech –If they ever read the reviews- and be honest with those thinking about buying it, here I go The biggest issue is battery life, which Logitech could have improved if they thought about a thing I’ll point out later. Battery life can be a subjective matter but I would say a good wireless keyboard should give you, as a good wireless mouse should also give you, at least a week of regular use and 4 to 5 days of heavy use. That’s what my Logitech mouse gives me but this keyboard gives me 3 days at most. It is not a big deal as you can just plug the USB cable and keep working but it means having to carry with yet another cable and being the use of USB-C is not that widespread yet, chances are you have to carry a mini-USB cable also for other uses. If you take illumination out for good –it has an option on the app settings- it will improve, but what puzzles me is that a better management of the illuminated feature should have been able to improve battery life without having to get rid of the feature altogether. The problem is that illumination defaults to its highest settings every single time the keyboard connects to your computer, meaning if you stop using the keyboard for a while or shut down the computer, once the keyboard comes back to life the illumination is at maximum, no matter before you decided to dim it using the keyboard keys provided. This forces you to dim the keyboard again, and if you forget then battery life will take a hit. This is the first time I have this issue with an illuminated keyboard, although the others were wired ones. I looked at the app and there is no way to set a dimming setting is either illuminated or not. This is silly and I still hope there is something I don’t know (still researching) The above is the major issue I have with the keyboard and as you may see it is not a big deal, but at this price point and with all the craftsmanship put in this keyboard is a regrettable oversight. The others minor issues are the setup process and the range of the unified receiver. On the setup, it should be plug and play and that’s it, but if you already have a Unified Receiver and you want to replace it with the one the keyboard brings it is not that simple, at least on W10. Once you turn on the computer, it will say it has identified two unified receivers, even if you already removed the old one and plugged in the new one. To select which receiver to use, you should be able to click a menu button using yes, a keyboard and a mouse that it is not connected yet. I had to plug and old wired keyboard and click the correct button. This can be avoided if you keep the old receiver but why do that if you get a new one? If something goes wrong can you isolate the problem to the keyboard, the receiver or what? My take is that I should have removed the old receiver from the Windows settings and then plug the new one, but it doesn’t say that anywhere in the instructions and it can get to you in the middle of the installation On the range of the receiver, I had the old unified receiver plugged in at the back of my desktop PC (in my gaming configuration) using older models of a wireless keyboard and a mouse without any issues. I used the same configuration for this keyboard (and I also got a new mouse) and I was experiencing intermittent disconnections and lag, which can be really annoying in gaming. At first I thought it was a video issue as I was playing an FPS and it jumped when looking around or suddenly the character stopped moving. I lowered the resolution to no avail, until once I saw the number 1 button on the keyboard blinking for a few seconds and then going back to solid, meaning the connection was lost. I moved the receiver to one of the USB ports at the front of the PC and the issue was fixed. Why a newer model, which by rule should be an improvement has less connecting range is definitely an issue Overall a great piece of technology, agree with some reviewers that it is a bit overpriced but you will get a high quality, very nice looking keyboard. Oh, forgot “The Crown”: I mostly use it to mute the volume and control it, which is a very pleasant feeling and much better than having to reach for the speakers volume or the keyboard buttons (particularly if you choose to keep them as Functions buttons) and way more precise, but not a must have. I have also used it for moving around tabs on Excel or while browsing but again it is not a must have although it feels great. I use my PC mostly for gaming and my laptop mostly for MS Office and I don’t see a tremendous need for the Crown yet but that may change as I use it more. If you work on designing applications or complex mouse keyboard combinations it might be a great tool tough, reading from some comments. And I see a lot of potential but for the apps I use it is still very limited Also I will advice on installing the Logitech App, it allows you ti get the full potential of the keyboard as well as configuring the Crown which can be important

(Im on MacBook Pro) Only ok, unfortunately. I really wanted to love this keyboard, backlit keys in a non-gaming, flat-style form. Unfortunately the keyboard <-> Mac interface leaves a lot to be desired. Had to update the firmware out of the box to get a silly key binding bug fixed, but even after that... If I connect using the Universal adapter then when my machine is under load (like any time the fans start spinning) then I start losing keystrokes, or keystrokes are received out of order. Terrible. If I connect using Bluetooth then whenever I take my laptop out of range it forgets that keyboard, so when I bring the laptop back I have to re-pair it with the Craft every time! I wish it would just connect using the USB cable, but unfathomably Logitech ONLY use that for charging (no data). As a bluetooth keyboard it also doesnt appear in the Keyboard preferences, so I cant remap my capslock keY, SO IM CONSTANTLY HITTING IT ACCIDENTALLY AND TYPING IN ALL CAPS.

I REALLY want to give this keyboard 5 stars for the way it looks and the way the keys feel. Ive long been searching for a keyboard that had 4 features: 1. chicklet-style keyboard 2. bluetooth 3. full numeric keypad 4. backlit keys I dont think there is any other keyboard on the market that has all 4 features. When this keyboard came out it offered everything I was looking for. But ... now for the bad news: The Bluetooth connectivity is HORRIBLE. As I am typing away for no apparent reason, the keyboard will disconnect and the light will flash. Wait about 10 seconds (seems like an eternity when youre in the middle of typing something) and the keyboard will re-connect. Over an 8 hour day this will happen 5-10 times. (Not exaggerating). Logitech customer support is not fun. You open a ticket. You wait a few days and you get a painfully-obvious canned response, where fully 50% of the recommended suggestions do not even apply. They recommended unplugging the keyboard cable from the usb port. (Umm, this is a wireless keyboard?). They also recommended removing the battery. (I can imagine some poor soul desperately trying to figure out how to do this. Hint: the battery is sealed. Its non-removable). The canned email prompts you to reply back with loads of information. I was happy to provide the requested information. They also requested that I attach proof of purchase, which I did. A few days later here comes another email. This one is obviously another pre-written rebuttal but at least this time its more in line with how you would typically expect to troubleshoot a bluetooth device. They want you to disconnect the device from your computer and the reconnect it. They ask you to reinstall the bluetooth software in Windows. They ask you to try another computer. "have you tried turning it off and back on again?". Oh and again they asked me for proof of purchase. Dont get me wrong, its appropriate to ask these questions but so far a week had gone by and I am no closer to resolving the issue. The keyboard continues to disconnect. I even took an hour to contact Dell support, explain the situation and much to my surprise they even helped me ensure the Bluetooth software was installed and up to date. I am still waiting to hear back from Logitech. In the meantime, as a test, I re-connected the Craft keyboard to my computer using the USB Unifying adapter INSTEAD OF bluetooth. (For those who dont know, there are 2 ways to connect this keyboard - either through Bluetooth or through the included Logitech USB dongle). I prefer Bluetooth since its built into the laptop, and I dont want to permanently lose 1 of my 2 usb ports on my laptop because of the Logitech unifying connector. This is why bluetooth was one of my criteria for a keyboard. In any case I am frustrated. I have the latest firmware installed on the keyboard. I have the latest version of Windows 10 with all updates and I have the latest Bluetooth drivers and software installed on my laptop. I have other Bluetooth devices which work fine - a pair of headphones, earbuds and a bluetooth mouse. These devices NEVER disconnect when I am using them. It is ONLY the Craft keyboard that disconnects. As long as the Craft keyboard is connected via the annoying usb unifying adapter, it stays connected. When I switch it back to Bluetooth, it goes right back to randomly disconnecting throughout the day.

Im really liking this keyboard so far. Keys have a really nice & solid feel, yet easy to type on. The key travel is fairly short, which I like. In other words, its not like a mechanical style keyboard - which again for me is a plus, as I very much dont like that. Nor is it like a super short-travel type of keyboard - which I dont much care for either. A nice middle ground. And you should note - I bought this keyboard for the feel, not the touch sensitive dial - which Ive hardly used. I use a the keyboard with a MacBook pro 15 inch (2017) - and something I noticed might be useful. I dont tend to like to install a lot of third-party bits of software that tend to come with accessories (as most of it is rubbish and not needed anyway). So I used the keyboard for a while without installing the "Logitech Options" software. That was a mistake - as at least on the mac, the command key didnt map to the right key on the keyboard, some of the smart keys didnt work, etc. So finally I decided to install the Logitech Options software, and glad I did - as all of that stuff started working correctly afterwards. In terms of battery life, I seem to be getting about four full working-days from a full charge. Not awesome, but certainly workable. Overall, would highly recommend this keyboard.

The keyboard is rock solid. The physical design is very attractive. The keys all illuminate well. Sadly, with my mac tower, I have tried everything to get it to work as described, but the machine will not recognize the keyboard on startup as a bluetooth wireless device. So Im always forced to use some USB connected other keyboard. Even when connected through the USB cable, the keyboard is not recognized by my mac until Ive signed on using another device. This keyboard also comes with a USB dongle, but that does not work either to allow it to sign on to the machine when it is first starting up. Furthermore, even with the logitech software, I cannot get the turning dial to do anything it is assigned to do. How could a company put so much work into producing such a physically and ergonomically superior product and not get it to interface with my mac computer? I cant tell whether this is Apple not cooperating or Logitech not knowing how things need to be done.

I dont care much for the wheel in the upper left, but this keyboard types like a dream. I liken it to a Lenovo laptop keyboard where the keys are responsive and require just the right amount of pressure to activate. You will need to download the Craft driver package as it is not contained in the box, but doing so allows you to set the keyboard up to meet your preferences. Out of the box, the function keys are a secondary function, so the software allows you to make them primary. This keyboard is expensive, but feels great, types great and looks great.

Thought this keyboard would be much better than it is. The lighting is really good, but tactile feel isnt any good and the keys are starting to squeek and make a funny noise when I hit them. Like they all need to be oiled or something. The price for such a premium product should demand a premium experience. And the battery gets eaten alive by the lights, so Im always charging it and having to use it with a cable hanging on the end of it. It is more or less a very expensive WIRED keyboard with squeeky keys that I have to hit harder and harder as time goes by. Looks like Logitech should have done some more testing on this one before releasing it to the public. And I do think the "wheel" is useless. Only certain program and use it and if you accidentally touch it makes it change easily. UPDATE: Keys are getting more squeaky and lighted keys are all different brightness. Drives me nuts! Come on Logitech I know you can make a better product than this. I will contact Logitech and get an RMA for in-warranty repair / service.

First of all, right of the package you can tell that at least the material is of high quality. The keyboard is heavier than expected and seems to be made of great quality metal. It reminds me a bit of metal Apple keyboards but with more to it. The keys feel really nice and they are easy to type on. My previous keyboard had the type of keys that have the key caps that jut out a bit. This doesn’t, but, surprisingly, I like it more. I was hesitant to move to a wireless keyboard because they aren’t usually as responsive or have issues connecting, but this one has been working great. I love that there are buttons at the top for maneuvering through multiple apps and windows. I wanted a keyboard that felt good on my lap while I use my computer that is connected to my tv and this did not dissapoint. After a month the battery still hasn’t run out, even after I left it on a few times, which is very nice. The biggest downside to this keyboard is the software. The software is great in that it pairs well to the keyboard and the keyboard runs smoothly through it. The issue is that it lacks customizability. You can choose what pressing the dial does, etc but there aren’t as many options as I want. You can’t change how quickly the key lights dim out. I basically just use the knob for volume control which seems like a waste. I would almost rather that they just remove the knob and do custom buttons or maybe a custom button touchscreen or something. Or maybe just make a version without the knob and reduce the cost. The only core issue that I found with this keyboard is that when you use the dial, sometimes the menu that pops up doesn’t go away. This is very annoying as I had to quit the Service to make it disappear. I would like it if there was a custom option where you could disable the pop ups or at least fix the disappearing issue. However, I don’t use the keyboard for the knob, so I don’t find this being a big issue. Despite the above drawbacks, this is a great keyboard. The best wireless keyboard I have had the pleasure of using. I am a sucker for quality. I just hope that they perfect it and improve the software.

Been working on this keyboard for about a week now and I really love it. The typing experience is the best of any keyboard I have ever used. The touch and feel of the keys is outstanding. I replaced a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard, so that took some getting used to. The Microsoft used to sporadically skip key strokes, especially when typing fast. Ended up becoming an issue I couldnt live with anymore, so I got the Logitech. Glad I did. In addition, I installed the Logi Options software and I have no issues with it whatsoever. I installed the software on a Lenova desktop running Windows 10, then on a MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.2 and also on a Microsoft Surface Pro running Windows 10. I can switch the keyboard and mouse (have the Logitech MX Master 2S) seamlessly using the software, or just as easy by selecting the button on the device. It works fantastic on three machines all running different things. Bluetooth connection was super easy and completed within seconds. Pros: Built well - very heavy and durable / The key pressure and overall feel is second to none. / Looks nice and doesnt take up too much room. Cons: As others have mentioned, the keyboard feels a little cramped, especially at first. However, after a couple of days of typing I have adjusted well. It is pretty much in line with laptop keyboard spacing so going from this keyboard to a laptop is easier. Jury still out on: Battery life - after a week, no issues and still trucking. I did turn back-lighting off in order to extend the battery life. / The knob - not sure its all that useful or just a gadget. In some applications it is pretty cool, in others totally useless. For instance, I was using for zoom in Adobe Illustrator and with a short twist I was maxed out at 6400% zoom, which is pretty useless really. But switching artboards in the same program is really handy. Time will tell whether I end up using the knob much. To summarize, I would gladly recommend this keyboard, I am enjoying (and typing this review on) mine.

I was skeptical I would like this, and that it could justify the price tag. While Ill say it is still expensive, I do love this keyboard, its quiet, with a good feel, solid build, confident feeling when using. Not like any keyboard ive used before. The control knob is a great addition for people in the creative field. Although Ive experienced some problems when i loaded the adobe profiles on an older MAC IOS. once i un-installed it, everything was good. The bluetooth connection is eh, and I have yet to use the whole "Flow" function. but love that I can swap between my mac and PC by a simplre press of a button.
