Good God its like the cold side of the pillow after flipping it in the middle of the night but for your wrist. I have this paired with the alloy elite from hyperx and its a match made in heaven. I only wished this came as a stock option for the keyboard instead of a separate purchase. God willing this was the best 20 bucks spent though. Clean minimalistic design and a hidden hyperx logo to the right of the rest with nice red stitching thats not very noticeable or doesnt stick out like crazy.

This is a very nice wrist rest. I use to own a glorious PC gaming race wrist rest and that was nice. But Im enjoying the look and feel of this one more. It is nice and cool to the touch thanks to the gel, and super comfortable for gaming or typing for long periods of time. I like that the hyperx logo is there but blackened so it is subtle. Its very cool looking with the red stitches and cool to the touch with a great grippy bottom as well. Super happy with my purchase.

After unboxing this, I literally became excited, pumped, yelling Yew! at my girlfriend, etc. its that good of a product. Ive been using a Sub Zero gaming keyboard wrist rest at work and at home, transporting it back and forth, I decided to buy a 2nd wrist rest so I didnt have to transport and Im super happy I chose this Hyper-X. I had a strain in my wrist from hyperactivity and needed a rest - I recommend wrist rests to anyone having wrist pain, and even using a wrist brace while computing, lifting heavy items, playing sports, etc. (they make small ones that dont go over the thumb if you want). If youre like me, you compare every potential item to and shop to the death trying to ensure you make the right decision. I ordered this one since the brand is known for quality gaming accessories, and I wanted to try something different to compare products. The other Wrist Rest I was comparing was Glorious Gaming, - I happened to just read another review stating that this wrist rest feels better than that one. The Material is SUPER Soft, silk-like, the gel is cool but not cold. You can easily move your hands around without your wrists getting stuck/caught, its very streamlined. This wrist rest may be 5% smaller than the SubZero Gaming one I have. I gave it 4 stars easy to clean because I dont know what thats like yet, there is a little bit of slack in the cloth over the pad, but I think thats so it can sit flush on the gel/foam when it is depressed down - not puling any stitching.

Remember when Tom Hanks character in the Green Mile was able to pee for the first time after being cured? It was like that. Amazing feeling, give, support, and all on a silky smooth material.

I was using a really old 3M "fat" gel wrist-rest and it was showing its age, edges disconnecting, a few "cuts" in the surface, etc. The reviews of this rest seemed positive so I went for it. Love it. I now have two (a second one for work). The height for me is perfect, lower than the 3M but I like it better. The base is grippy and I love the stitching along the edges. I WAS using this with a real, 1984 IBM Model M keyboard, and the keyboard was a bit wider than the rest. That keyboard just died and I replaced it with the Logitech G513. The combination of the G513 and this HyperX wrist rest is perfect. The back edge of the rest slides just "under" the front edge of the keyboard, giving it that "integrated" look. Again, the height is spot-on. And the depth is great, giving you a bit of "travel" as you reach for function keys, etc. For the price this is a great accessory. For anyone whos planted at the keyboard for hours like me, well worth the investment!

I had a quality Fellows brand wrist rest purchased and in daily use for the past 15 years. In that time Fellows decided to cut corners and produce a disappointingly inferior product. One I ended up with before I knew how far their standards had fallen. I tried this one and the first observable difference was the memory foam, similar to pillows and mattresses. The base of the wrist rest is also firm providing stability in transport but largely insignificant in normal use. I prefer this because the Fellows wrist rest mentioned above (both the good one from years ago and the recent one) are too flexible. This flexibility leads to tearing the fabric cover loose from the base and then the whole thing starts to fall apart. The HyperX shouldnt suffer from such problems.

Just received this wrist rest today. And while I like it so far I do have two issues with it. First is I wish is tas a bit longer and went past the full length of my keyboard, just my preference as I move my wrist and hand a lot while playing PC games and typing. Second is the flaw, IMO, is that the cloth covering slides around a lot and isnt fully attached to the padding more completely. This might be part of the "cooling" properties but Im not a big fan of the loose material.

I originally bought this product because I had a similar one at work and wanted one for home to use with my mechanical keyboard, but after about a month of use I ended up liking it so much I decided to get one for work and replace the one I had there with it. What is great: the material it is covered with is soft and a little pourous, which is great because it makes your wrists sweat less. The gel inside feels "cool" (IE as opposed to warm), the one I had at work, would often feel hot and sweaty after a few minutes of usage. This product is a joy to use and really improves typing comfort both for gaming as well as for work. All in all, great product; felt compelled to recommend it.

As a wristrest, this does a great job. But if you are any kind of finicky, the very loose outer covering will drive you mad. The exterior layer is very lose, slides around a lot, and rapidly get even looser, to the point where huge bulges and bundles start to build up. The material needed to be a LOT more thoroughly secured (only stitched around the edge, the red thread shown in the image) and/or made of a more elastic material. As it is, I am not sure how long it will last as the outer covering continues to stretch out.

Id never really bothered with wrist rests, simply because every one Id ever used was either uncomfortable in some way or just didnt seem to serve any purpose beyond getting in the way. But Im a programmer and musician, and am now in my 30s, and the years and years of bad technique, laziness, and general disregard for wrist health are starting to be felt. In considering wrist rests I stumbled upon a glowing review of this one and was intrigued to the point where I figured Id try it out, at worst Id return it and maybe be out few bucks. Its looks are kind of deceiving, honestly; its so weirdly simple, its just black block on my desk, doesnt really give a way the difference it makes. Its comfortable, actually comfortable, not that "comfortable for a little bit then you realize it hasnt been comfortable for the last few minutes" type of way a lot of wrist rests tend to be, its cool to the touch, which has made a giant difference for me, and its soft. And let me be clear, its not soft like some of the other ones Ive tried, this is soft to rest on but not enough to sink into it, it pushes back just enough that I dont have to keep readjusting. Im probably gonna buy another one so I can have it going across the width of my desk and use it for both mouse and keyboard. I never thought Id say this but yeah, buy this wrist, its actually changed my life for the better.
