"That is ridiculously large," my wife posited when she saw me unbox and roll out my XL HyperX Fury S. "Thats what she said," I naturally replied. Id purchased my first XL HyperX Fury S at the local blue box store on a whim about a month prior; originally intending to simply add a "large" mouse pad to my workspace, the XL was marginally more expensive than the L it hung next to. Having neither the time nor the inclination to investigate exactly how much XL the pad was, I quickly grabbed the item before my brain could remind me that this was an unnecessary purchase. Its a good thing, because brain was wrong. Having a full pad that extends beneath the keyboard is majestic. Aesthetically, the XL pad clearly blocks off the interactive part of the desk, where the human can convert kinetic energy into digital representation. Functionally, the keyboard stays firmly put while I furiously hammer out verbose Amazon articles. Theres plenty of room left for the actual mouse, too; if Im nearing the edge of this pad, I should probably check my DPI settings. Which brings me to THIS purchase. As a full time remote employee, my work area of the workstation is of equal importance to my personal area. As one can imagine, the work area became woefully underwhelming once I put the XL HyperX Fury on the personal PC side. Id moved my original L mouse pad over to the work side, but it just could not compare to the elegance and purity of the personal side. Plus, it was asymmetric, which caused my eye to twitch involuntarily at the most inconvenient times. As should be a surprise to no one, Amazon had the XL HyperX Fury S for a full 25% less than the box store. Oh, had I thought to price check & match! What I could have done with the extra $5! I suppose I shall never know. Despite this grave oversight on my part (along with an unfortunate inability to travel back in time and correct my error), I forged ahead with my Amazon order. The second XL pad arrived and brought much-needed balance to my work (and play) space. While my wife may have verbally questioned the purchase, I am certain that she is simply masking the increased lust and desire that only arises from having two XL HyperX Fury S mouse pads.

All my gaming set is from HyperX, from my headset, my mouse, my keyboard and now my mouse pad, no complaints so far. I have so far a great experience with HyperX products and their customer service, this mouse pad is not the exception.

After trying 2 other mousepads (dechanic XXL, QCK XXL) I finally found one that works great. The mosuepad has a relatively mild odor when compared to the QCK, which smelled like toxic chemicals and had to be put away and returned. It is also nice and thick so you get a good, even mousing surface. The stitched edges are some of the better ones and dont irritate my wrist much, if at all. I rarely notice them and they are of good quality. For the price, size, and non-raised branding it gets a 4/5. I only wish that it was easier to get flat as its still working some if the kinks out under its own weight.

I used to have the old HyperX Fury Large and upgraded to a Fury S Pro XL. I also have used a Razer mouse pad before the Fury. So far I have used it to play a couple days worth of games. This mouse pad is an AMAZING improvement over the last Fury. They added non sharp edges compared to the old Fury mouse pad and because of that it wont fray like the old Fury mouse pad would. Due to its large size it is sticking to my desk well and looking at the bottom of the mouse pad they did change how it grips to the desk so the smaller versions should have no problem. Having the super long XL version is nice for FPS since I have a lot of surface to move my mouse. The texture also feels a lot better compared to the old Fury mouse pad and it feels nice below my keyboard where my wrists rest. There are no immediate cons to this mouse pad and I feel like I will not find any.

I only got these because they came with my HyperX Cloud Flights. I initially game on Steelseries XXL mousepad. I gave this a shot and never went back to my steel series pad. Nothing bad on Steelseries pad, though. Overall, if you are deciding between this or Steelseries, they’re both great. I guess it just narrows down on what logo you want to see on the pad. Lol

Im not sure its any better or worse than any other mousepad. If I paid more than $9 than Id definitely feel ripped off. Overall Im pretty happy with it. The red has a bit of a washed out look if something red is placed next to it. Everyone is right about the curling. Mine still doesnt lay completely flat even after three days under an entire encyclopedia set. Id say its the rubber backing. Rubber tends to retain it shape. I actually think it you were to heat it up and then freeze it then you could probably get it to a completely flat shape, but Im not that motivated. It lays flat enough for me. Although I wish Hyper X would package the smaller mousepads different at least. Its also worth noting that the off gassing and rubber smell is pretty strong. Its been about a month now and its as strong as ever. On the small pad its not that bad. It doesnt fill the room or anything. But I can imagine it might be a real problem on the largest size mouse pads.

I ordered this and the wider version of this mouse pad. I tried both for a week and returned the full size one that fits your keyboard. The large square pad allows you to move it into any position you want to (space needs aside). It has been holding up now for 6 months, no staining, color fading issues, or sewing issues. The mouse pad sticks to the table and doesnt move from the where you place it. Remember to dial in your mouse with the pad especially if you are going from a hard pad this one. Be very mindful of how big this pad actually is before you buy it. I recommend cutting a piece of newspaper out to the mouse pads dimensions to ensure it will fit =where you want it to.

Cord, 510 Joules, 2 USB Charging Ports, Black, 20K Insurance & (TLP310USBC) I cant ask for a better desk (*Single Column Crank Adjustable Stand up Desk (40”, Black Frame, Black Top). Ive had this desk for nearly 6 months before writing this review and I just absolutely loved it. Bought it used and shipped by amazon for about $150. Think brand new runs about $240 or something. Who cares, I did save some money because I wanted all the extras to go with this desk [34"5k monitor (34WK95), clamp on monitor adjustable arm (*AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand), clamp on desk lamp (*Phive LED Lamp) pen organizer mount (*Self Stick Pencil Tray), clamp on surge protector (*Tripp Lite Surge Protector), Desk Clamp Binder Clip, adjustable stool(Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool), and underneath laptop mount(*Mintcraft pipe strap] so yeah, buying all that equipment ran up the price to build my rolling workstation. Buying it used, amazon did mention that it had cosmetic damages which was fine for me because really its mainly the framework I wanted. The desk part did have a few scuffs and chips and not like I couldnt fix it or just build the tabletop to my liking buying the wood from a local hardware store which initially was the plan. It;s not so much a bothersome for me because after 6 months, I still havent changed it and been using it for productivity anyway. Why this crank adjustable over an electric adjustable desk? PRICE is right! The crank is not difficult at all and only takes a few seconds vs an electric with single or dual motor where I would have to worry about the motor going out in the future. (I plan to keep this desk for many many many years). Motor will eventually go out and would have to look for another or fix it yourself. The size of the desk was perfect for portability going through doors from one room to the next while most electric stand up desk have it too wide for it and/or buy the desktop separate. I mainly work from home as I run businesses from home and part of it is graphic designing. Working from home has its pros and cons depending on discipline you are and that discipline can change from time to time. You can easily get lazy or lose focus from distraction because you a re at home thus why I move from master bedroom to another room to family room, to even outside to find my zone or just to wherever I feel like working. I can stand up and sit while working and if I get tired I use the *Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool to rest my butt on it. If I want to work lazy while watching TV in the family room, I can move my desk near the recliner, prop my foot up and pull out the monitor out attached to *Amazon Basic single arm mount and it extends far, high, light, rotate, tilt and everything to move it where I need it to be. Laying down on the bed as well is just the same and adjusting the desk height, easy as a crank.] Even if I have a party at home I can roll my desk out and use my computer as a karaoke system by using youtube (type karaoke before the song), connect my analog mixer (Yamaha MG06X) along with my mics (Shure SM58-LC) and output the sound to my living room system, or my *Altec Lansing ALP-X800 if outside by line in all you need is the cable 3.5 to rca to aux converters. It rocks. To complete my system Im just waiting for soundbar to come down in price or refurbished (preferably the Yamaha MusicCast Bar 400) to attach to my monitor on the mount with *Mount-it Soundbar Bracket and mount the sub on the left side of the foot of my desk opposite of my stool (Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool). All the power is attached to the Tripp Lite Surge Protector, although its only 3 AC plugs I only use 2 mainly for monitor (which charges my macbook pro underneath the desk using just a piece of wood and mounted with *Mintcraft TWC0534-3L Pipe Strap) and 1 for the light. The other will go to my soundbar once I receive it. 2 USB ports will charge my phone, ipad, or my apple pencil. I don’t really need the sound bar since I have 2 homepods, apple express that connects to an old subwoofer, a Sonos Beam just received and can airplay but just want sound with a direct connection since that is limited to my bedroom. I tried to connect the Sonos Beam directly to my macbook pro but 2017 they took out SPDIF stereo out and can’t directly connect to it. I plan on returning the Beam back to bestbuy since it gets out of sync with my music or appleTV and cant justify that price tag. Back to the Tripp Lite, its great because it clamps on my desk with a 10ft cord so I can just plug it anywhere and have the reachability without the cord getting in the way. When I move the desk, I used the *Multifunction Desktop Binder Clamp Clip to roll my power cord and hang on it. I’ve purchased the Bestek Surge Protector and mounted that on my headboard. I love that thing because of the six outlet, 4 USB with one of them on Quickcharge. I was planning to buying another to mount it to this desk but cons of it 1) I would waste the perfect use of my Tripp Lite that’s conveniently place right next to my monitor mount 2) I would probably have to mount it underneath my desk somewhere and make it hard to get to rather that on the top. 3) The cord is 6ft compared to the Tripp Lite’s 10ft and limit my portability of my desk. The cleanliness of my desk (at least most times when working and not like how pictured above lol) goes because of these accessories: *AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand – Clears desk space and can extend far, up, down, tilt, swivel and rotate to where I need it depending I put the workstation *Tripp Lite 3 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip with Desk Clamp – Its out of the way and stays right next my monitor stand. Cord is long for portability. *Phive LED Lamp – Clamps on to my desk rather than on top of it. I can slide it anywhere, adjust the arms to where I need it (high or low). Has great lighting when I need it and is dimmable to what I want depending on time of day. *Self Stick Pencil Tray – Under Desk Holder Pop-up Pen Strorage Drawer Organizer – I need to use pens and this gets rid of the clutter of having a cup or pen holder on the desk with pens. It just hides underneath my desk and if I need a pen, I just push it in to pop out the storage case. Its mounted just by 3M tape which is very strong and perfect for pens because not a lot of weight to it. *Multifunction Desktop Binder Clamp Clip – I actually have 2. I used to hold my pens in a cup and put that cup on the binder clip. I’ve gon away from it because of the storage pencil above but now use it to perfectly hold my power cord. I hang it from there when moving my desk or clamp the cord underneath it so it gets out of the way. *HyperX Fury S Speed Edition – Pro Gaming Mouse Pad X-Large - This pad is XL and great. It covers my desk perfectly and can move my keyboard and mouse with out needing to move a tiny mouse pad and have my keyboard half on or half off the little pad. And because I move around using this desk, I can just move my keyboard and mouse to any corner or middle of the desk depending on how Im using the desk. I also use it to stash papers underneath.

There are lots of generic mouse pads on the market now that all seem to be exactly the same material top, bottom, and around the hem, and which are great quality (look up brands Aukey, Vipamz, and Pecham for examples). I bought this HyperX mouse pad because it appeared to be the same generic material as others, it was a good price, and I have nothing against the HyperX logo being printed on. However, comparing it to the Vipamz XXXL mouse pad I purchased at the same time, and other generics Ive bought before, the quality of the HyperX is far worse. The top surface material on the HyperX looks somewhat rough and has uneven coloration right out of the box, while the generics are nice, smooth, and even. The bottom material is very nice, supple, and grippy on the generics, while the bottom material on the HyperX is not very supple, and not quite as grippy (but pretty good). The hemming on both looks very similar, looks good, and wont be coming apart any time soon, but it is very very evenly done on the generics, but seems kind of bunched up or stretched on parts of the HyperX. The HyperX wont lay flat, even after a day and a half sitting under a stack of 4 textbooks. Maybe with time it would lay flat, but it would definitely at least take a long time if the books didnt do it. See the images I uploaded, one shows the HyperX alone; you can see the rough coloration, uneven hemming, and how it wont lay flat there. The other images shows the HyperX next to the generic (Vipamz) I bough at the same time; you can see how much smoother the hemming is, how even the coloration is, and most importantly how flat it already lays. It laid perfectly flat almost immediately when I unrolled it, and didnt need any coercion. tl;dr lesser quality than generics, wont lay flat after sitting under textbooks; Ive been much happier with pads from generic brands Aukey, Vipamz, and Pecham.

It smells ridiculously bad and the smell is so strong! Its some kind of a chemical/rubbery smell and I thought the material is supposed to be cloth? I dont know how this product gets so many positive reviews. Maybe I got a knockoff? I actually have it a chance by leaving it outside for 2 days but that didnt help. Once I brought it back inside, it once again filled up a section of room with the off-putting smell. I couldnt bear it.
