GOOD massive size good grip on my desk spongy/comfy for palms/elbows well stitched edges both my logitech G502 and ROG mouse glide veeery well on this mousepad and track well too BAD all black, so dust and stains and dirt stand out real fast surface feels pretty rough... my logitech G502 and ROG mouse both glide BETTER on this mousepad, but my palms and elbows feel irritated by the rough surface so im using my old extra wide ROG gears of war 4 mousepad on top of this, and essentially just use it as a palm/elbow rest. Also worth noting, the surface of this mousepad is rough and microscopically open, which means anything you drop on it goes deep into the fabric. i eat a lot in front of my setup so thats an issue... the ROG gears of war mousepad has a sealed smooth fabric that is a lot more stain resistant, PLUS it has something printed on it all over, so stains and dust arent that visible. its a good mousepad, price perf is great, but its not perfect... there are much better ones out there if you dont care about having such a massive mousepad.

Purchased this 5 months ago. I love the size. Tracking is wonderful on this. My mouse glides perfectly. I use low sense on my mouse, so having a mat that is comfortable to rest on and never run out of space is glorious. What Ive found to be frustrating about this mat is how much dirt it shows. Every strand of cat hair, every little speck of dirt from your hands shows. Now its to the point that if I slide my keyboard on the mat, theres a line from the feet. And lately, Ive noticed that the area where I have my mouse is marked up from dirt and grime from every day use. The other day I tried to wash it clean with a cold wet rag (no soaps), and after gently rubbing the fabric with the weave, the weave is compromised there and forever discolored. I would like to give this a perfect review because I want to support this company making big mouse pads, but with the current design, its frustrating that the mat couldnt withstand even six months of use without showing excessive wear. To be clear, I clean my desk weekly (dust) and Im a generally clean person. Ive used other black mouse mats without experiencing this problem, so theres definitely a weave or fabric type that can be used to allow it to be cleaned with a wet rag or simply by swiping it clean. Of course, YMMV, but for me, I wont be buying again.

Within the first couple weeks of owning this, the "Glorious PC Gaming Race" logo in the bottom left has partially peeled off, and is now half gone. This mouse pad also reeked of rubber and chemicals straight out of the box to the point that I could smell it all throughout the room, 20 feet away. That dissipated over about 30 hours or so, thankfully. I noticed that the pad isnt laid down perfectly flat, and the stitched edges are starting to fray despite not even owning this for a month. As for general usage, this mouse pad does precisely what its supposed to do. I underestimated the sheer size of the Extended, and thought that I might have to buy the XXL, but Im glad I didnt as the Extended barely fits on my desk with my triple monitor setup. This pad has more than enough space for a full size gaming keyboard and plenty of space left for a mouse to glide. It grips my keyboard just enough so that it wont slide if I dont want it to, and still allows my mouse to glide almost effortlessly. Regardless of the issues with the aesthetics, functionally this is a fantastic mouse pad, and until I try out a Steelseries QcK this is a product I definitely could recommend.

I loved that this mouse mat was gigantic. The reason for the low rating is that the surface was bad for the mat that I had. The surface has a horizontally linear texture of which would cause mouse movements to be slower (requiring more force) vertically and faster horizontally. Also, with horizontal movements I could feel the mouse wanting to track with the lines. The mouse would almost feel as if it is being guided to go in a horizontal line rather than being free and unguided. I attempted to sand the texture down although this did not do anything. I ended up going with the Dechanic XXXL mouse mat which does not cover my entire desk although the texture is miles above this mouse mat. The Dechanic is faster though which required some adaptation for me. You can give this one a try although the Razer and Dechanic pads Ive tried do not have this awkward linear texture I was describing. Im also surprised not many people are reporting this in their reviews.

Generous size that fits my desk nicely. Texture is soft and smooth. Outer stitching doesnt irritate skin. Mouse pad is smoother with less friction than Steelseries Qck, but still has good mouse tracking. In constant need of a trim as there always seems to be stray stitch fraying. Decal on the close right corner effects mouse tracking and has begun to fade with hand resting on it over a few weeks. End of the stitching on the close left corner was poorly done. It scratched my left hand often and I had to be pluck the sealed plastic thread part out and re-thread stitching to go underneath mouse pad. Accidental stain from coffee cup was easy to clean. I think that if you can handle the issues of fraying, plucking and re-threading then the Glorious XXL Mouse Pad is definitely worth its size and quality. Update - Amazon sent me a replacement mousepad. I am very grateful. The new mousepad lay flat and did not have any fraying. The finishing of the stitch was located at the same close left location as previous mousepad, but had been turned below the mousepad as to not scratch my skin which is acceptable. The decal on the right corner is the same and I can see it effecting mouse tracking and possibly fade if your palm is placed upon it like previous mousepad. The one issue I have with the replacement is that the stitching has been inverted. The stitching has a rough side and a soft side. On previous mousepad the soft side was facing up and on the new mousepad the rough side is facing up. The soft side is pleasant on skin, but the rough side scratches and chafes skin. On the new mousepad the edging seems like it wants to curl up where as the previous mouse wants to curl down causing it not to lay flat. This is most unfortunate and I have conveyed this message to Amazon and Seller about the quality. Hopefully they can improve.

The size is really great, thats a big plus. The XL Heavy (5mm) stays in place and feels very heavy duty and plush while using it. I went with this mousepad due to a bunch of the reviews mentioning the slick surface, however I did not find this to be the case. I compared this to my older mousepad by a different brand but similarly priced (I paid $19 for 11x17) and the surface on that one was much nicer. It was a neoprene type of material and felt coated with something slick to the touch. It made your mouse slide across very nicely to the point where I would describe it like "butter". Almost felt like the type of coating you might find on waterproof material, where water would bead up when it came in contact. While I dont feel any drag on my mouse while using the GXL, I definitely wish it was a little bit slicker for my wrist. I tend to drag my hand on my mousepad while playing games (low DPI) so I feel this one a lot more than the old one. Im going to keep it and give it a fair long term test, but hopefully in the future They will put some sort of coating on the material.
