Great Keyboard but ONLY WHEN IT WORKS!! This is the most frustrating product I have bought in years... I bought one keyboard and it had terrible issues connecting and kept disconnecting. Frankly it is confusing that the keyboard lights only turn on when connected to bluetooth. Also, the fact that the lights turn off after only 10 seconds is crazy and it defeats the whole purpose of a lighted keyboard - to find keys in the dark. Anyway, I bought a second keyboard since I figured the first was broken. Nope! The keyboard is just poorly designed 1. Huge delay between key presses and text entry. We are talking 1 - 2 seconds, and even then the keyboard will miss many keystrokes. 2. THIS IS THE BIGGEST Problem: Terrible Terrible Bluetooth connectitivy. FIFTY TIMES A DAY I had to reset this freaking keyboard and every 3 minutes I had to remove it from my Bluetooth and re-add the device. And even then the performance was terrible. Missed keystrokes, and the keyboard will also totaLly glicth out, where the key lights stay on, but it is not connected. EXtremly frustrating 3. BATTERY LIFE IS INNACURATE on both models I purchased. It says SIX MONTHS OF BATTERY. On both of my keyboards I only got FOUR DAYS. Thats right, with a full charge on 2 seperate keyboards I got 4 days of charge. 4. This keyboard in no way shape or form has a 15 foot working radius as advertised. For both of my keyboards I had about 3 feet of range before the keys would stop working. I think they may just Be making 1,000,000 of these a week and thats why they keep offering to send replacements. Nice company. Very very bad product. I wanted to love it I really did, That is why I bought 2 of them. But actually I had to smash both of them on the ground.

Install Flash Player The keyboard is very slim and lightweight which is what I wanted. Make sure you stick on the provided little 3m rubber bases as the back is smooth. The keyboard connected to my Dell laptop on the initial setup. I did remove one star because the “ I and O “ buttons stick a little. I love the option if being able to change the back light color. Update on 01-15-2018: More keys sticking now. Dropping the stars from 4 down to 2. I wouldn’t buy this again.

Being a touch typist, I have missed the ease of typing on a keyboard on my iPad. So when I invested in the 5th generation iPad, I decided to explore the idea of a keyboard. I didn’t hold out much hope that I would be happy with one because I am very, VERY picky when it comes to keyboard feel. As a typist, I have always chosen typewriters - yes, typewriters - and now computer keyboards - by their feel. We need to be a match or it’s over. If it does not have that special something that I always look for, I pass on a keyboard - or moan and whine until I get it replaced. Right out of the box, I knew that this was a match practically made in heaven. For one thing, it is not one of those flat silicone things that pretends to be a keyboard. This one has a bounce in its step with the scissor spring of the keys. That was very important to me when I chose to try this and I read the reviews as carefully as I could to discern what I could about the keyboard feel. The reality does not disappoint because I absolutely LOVE this keyboard. I will not pretend that I have explored every aspect of it because, at this point, all I care about is that we can get along with feel and speed. It passes on those counts beautifully. Paring it via Bluetooth was virtually a breeze. I was up and running as soon as I fully charged it and began the connection process. As far as the other reviewers complaints that it disconnects when left too long, I am not planning to use it in a stop-and-start fashion. My main goal is to word process and I have absolutely no complaints so far with disconnection. Time will tell, but I will do a work-around should that be a problem. I will try to anticipate long delays in use. For around $20, all I can ask is, what have I been missing with my last four tablets? I should have done this sooner and I would surely have started with the Arteck here because it really is just what I want. Happy camper! Happy keyboarding!

Keyboard arrived today and was intended to be used with a Samsung S2 9.7" Tablet. Very disappointed. Am getting repeat keys on many words in a sentance. I am a heavy hitter slow touch typist. Tried many different typing methods including hunt and peck. If I was super careful to touch very lightly and only for a very short time I could reduce the duplicate characters somewhat. Could never find something that was comfortable for me. Asked me wife to test, she is a very good touch typist but even her faster and lighter keystrokes still did not stop the duplicate letters but it was better than I could achieve. Neither one of us found this keyboard acceptable. I could type better on the screen of the tablet w/o duplicate characters. Also the caps lock key did not light up the indicator as it should. The owners manual says it may or may not work on Android devices. It didnt. Lost the Blue Tooth connection several times upon first connection but that seemed to settle down. I purchased this to replace typing on the screen of the tablet. I can do better on the screen of the tablet. Absolutely no duplicate keys. Also the Key Board does not have a way to raise the back side to give a better typing angle. Knew that before purchase but now that I have some limited experience with a small key board like this I now know that is needed. Sending it back immediately. Update, 4/16/17.... Arteck contacted me within one day after I wrote the above review. They are sending me a replacement KB to try. Will see if the replacement KB will work better. So far....prompt and appropriate customer service. Update 4/22/17 Received the replacement unit. No more repeats. This Key board is acceptable. I have changed the rating to 4 star. Would rate it av5 if the first one had workEd like this.

i initially gave this a 3star, because the backlight went out after less than 2 weeks, but hey, the keyboard still worked. csr service contacted me based on my 3 star review, and offered to replace it. i thought, wow, that is good csr service. i accepted their offer, but i now keep getting e-mails about "uh, hey, did you do this, did you do that?" hey, i didnt contact you, you contacted me. if you want to replace the damn thing, replace it, and i will appreciate it, but if you dont, fine. i never asked you to replace it in the first place. this is a keyboard that is worth what you pay for it, and dont expect anything less than b/s from the csr service. addendum: Ive changed my rating from 1 star to 4-star. I never asked for a replacement, but after the arteck people initiated some back and forth, they sent me a replacement, and despite me being a little put-out with the back-and-forth, they did make everything right, and I appreciate it. as I stated initially, I did, and still do, like the keyboard and I especially like the backlight feature. I will update (again) if I have any other problems with the new keyboard, but so far it works great.

Ive only had this for a couple days but I really like this keyboard. It is tiny and perfect for me. The packaging came in a small cardboard box. It had a manual, usb for charging, keyboard and a small 3M sticky. The keyboard is metal but it does slide on the table top. I wished it came with instructions on how to use the 3M stickies. It was a sticky with 6 dots. Initially, i thought the whole thing goes on the back of the keyboard but once I peeled off the backside of the stickies, I realized that I could use each of the individual dots (6 of them), so I placed them on each corner and center of the keyboard to stop the keyboard from sliding/flying every where. There was a off/on the top right corner, I switched that to on adn the blue light came on indicating that the power was on. I turned on the blue tooth on my surface pro 3 and press connect on teh keyboard. It took less than 30 seconds to connect and VIOLA, it was ready to go. I havent tried it on my ipad air or my android phone but will eventually. I bought this keyboard specifically for my surface pro 3 because its not stable and I often have to use on a flat surface. I wanted a keyboard so i can place it on my lap while I do my school assignments. I havent used all the feautres sucha s turning on the keyboard lights - I dont really care for the colors so I turned it off. There were several colors to choose from. So far I am liking it. I have pretty small hands and have trouble using some of the keys since my fingers are still use to my prosurface keyboards, which is a bit bigger than the ARTECK. So I misspell quite a lot but this will take some getting use to. Overall, I am very happy with the product. Will buy again if I need to.

When the Samsung Note 1 first came out, it was a big, almost cumbersome device that almost resembled more a tablet than a phone. I cant recall how I came across it, but I had my first bluetooth keyboard that was designed specifically for Android. It was awesome. I gave it away shortly after I traded in my Note for something else. Ever since Ive wished I had kept it. I now have the S8+ and I thought it was high time I got another one. This keyboard is superior to my original one in every way possible. Much smaller, yet still very much full-sized. I was really blown away at how thin it turned out to be. Like crazy thin. It was ridiculously simple to pair with my phone and within less than 3 minutes of opening it up, I was using it on my phone. One of the key features which I LOVE is the ability to work best with your particular operating system, such as iOS, Android or even I believe a Windows phone (though Im not 100% certain about this one). The light-up keys are a very nice feature that Im sure will come in handy in dark environments. I used my keyboard extensively last night answering emails, text messages, Snapchats, and I even wrote a review here on amazon for another product I had purchased. It was all simple and unbelievably more convenient than using the Google keyboard on my phone. The truth is, a lot of what I did last night wouldnt have been done at all had I been forced to use just my phones keyboard. I found myself LOOKING for things to respond to or write just in order to get more use out of it. Another wonderful addition is a built-in rechargeable battery. My previous keyboard used 2 AA batteries and it was a pain when they would suddenly be spent without any advance warning. As long as Im near a charging cable, if this goes dead, I can still plug it in almost anywhere and still use. I havent had the time to see how long itll run on a single charge, but should that change or become noticeable one way or another, Ill make sure and come back to write an update. All in all, if you are considering a portable bluetooth keyboard, I simply cannot recommend this highly enough. Oh, I almost forgot, this keyboard does NOT fold up, so what you see when you open up the packaging is what you get--which is not an issue for me...however, if you prefer something thatll fold up to be a shade more portable, you might want to consider something else. However, for the money, you certainly cannot do any better in my opinion.

Ive been using the keyboard the past couple of days. Quick layout of Pros/Cons: (NOTE: Please read the con and notes after! The Fn key is a bit tricky if you dont go through the manual!) Pros + Small like advertised - This thing is lightweight and tiny to the point in which it can rest in my lap without hardly being a bother. + Backlighting - The lighting itself looks pretty cool, albeit far from necessary to have. I really like it. + Easy to Pair / Connect - Booted the thing up and hit that connect button to instantly link a tablet of mine to it. Con - Fn Key needs to be matched up to the OS youre using! Read below! HEADS UP! This keyboard might be configured a little oddly right out of the box if youre tech savvy and dont read the instructions. Do the following based on your OS: Windows: Fn+E iOS: Fn+Q Android: Fn+W This will make sure the Fn key behaves as expected. Overall: I was in the middle of typing out a 3-star review when I decided to look through the manual again to see if I by chance missed something (I know, I know, RTFM). That little tid-bit isnt one of the most upfront pieces of information so its easy to miss once you end up happy that your keyboard is paired. Its great that this can provide a proper layout to different operating systems, but any users who miss the matching step might have their mostly positive experience with the keyboard with their frustrations of the Fn key. To the makers: • Spellcheck the English. There are a few errors that should be easy to catch if youre able to use an English dictionary in your document maker. • Make a "Quick Start" note card separate from the manual (or on the front of it) that give simple steps for how to get started. Make sure that the Fn+[Key] is emphasized to reduce confusion. • Make the Manual easy to find online, please. Although I still have mine, I know that having access to it in the future might be helpful. All iterations Ive found online dont match what Ive received in the package.

Not sure where the problem lies. I would love to use this keyboard but when I have both it and my bluetooth HP mouse connected to my surface, the mouse will periodically stop working for about 10 seconds. It comes back but then the keyboard will stop. It is very frustrating because I want to use both but cannot. May have to send the KB back unless someone can tell me how to resolve this conflict. As of now, I have found nothing., **EDIT** I still cannot use both my HP bluetooth mouse and this keyboard at the same time on Win 8.1. As stated above, my mouse will stop working although it is for 3-5 seconds. One thing I tried made it worse and that was disconnecting and removing both devices, adding the keyboard first and the mouse second. This made the mouse problems even more significant. Not sure what is causing this but I will not be using this keyboard anymore. EDIT: On Windows 10 I can now use both a BT mouse and this keyboard. Not sure what changed but it works and I am happy.

Update 7/19: Arteck replaced the key board right away after reading this review; cant say enough good things about their follow up. The keyboard works flawlessly, and again, as I noted in the original review, their is high value for this product. Combine this with the prompt customer service and attentiveness and its a no brained to purchase if one needs a portable lightweight Bluetooth keyboard device. Definitely recommended! Well, this was a high value product, and many good reviews out there. Lightweight, works on both android and apple products, cute lighting features. Plan was to use this with my iPad Pro, which I have quite frequently. For the past 3 or so months, worked flawlessly, great charge capacity (even when I am using all day, it lasts and lasts...) and was my constant companion along with my pencil with the iPad. Regretfully, durability is not a quality here - the "L" and "Caps lock" keys have started to come off, and while I could do a work around for the latter, the former creates somewhat more of an issue since I cant get it to stay in place nor have a good way to keep it down. So while there are a lot of good things about this keyboard, regretfully I cant recommend it since it doesnt seem to last. Well, it was good while it lasted.
