Dont know if its just how I use the keyboard, the keyboard itself, or what, but about 1/5 times that I hit the space key on the far-right (using my right hand thumb), no space character appears. At first I thought maybe I could "retrain" myself to somehow hit it differently (harder? more toward the center of the bar?), but am still encountering the same problem after a few days. Have a similar issue with the far-left Ctrl key too. The key itself is smaller than on my old keyboard but even when I consciously go out of my way to make sure Im pressing it, my computer frequently doesnt believe its being pressed. Its getting really old when Im trying to do a lot of copy-and-paste operations. My gut feeling is that this isnt a defective keyboard—this is just the sensitivity level of the space bar on this keyboard. Not suitable for a developer or other professional that spends all day in front of the computer.

This keyboard has gotten a lot of five star reviews and I dont dispute what others have to say. It is a nice looking keyboard and it connected easily to my computer. The battery works as promised and it seems solid. Still, after using it for a week or so, it just still feels awkward and uncomfortable to type on. I thought I would get used to it, but I havent. The keys are really slick, which I dont like at all, and they seem a bit too close together. Maybe Im just used to keyboards with a bit more space (I used the Logitech solar keyboard for a long time until a few keys stopped working and thought Id try something else). In any case, I decided that this just isnt the right keyboard for me and Im going back to the Logitech keyboard.

I just received this keyboard, and Im scratching my head a bit as to how it received so many 5 star reviews. I recently bought a Logitech K780 silent keyboard, and while I was very happy with the typing, noise (or lack there of) and overall quality, I was not happy with the configuration. To make it more compact, they eliminated some dedicated keys I use often (mainly the HOME & END buttons). For that reason, I went searching for another silent keyboard, and was persuaded into buying this one because of all the glowing reviews. First of all, the quality between the 2 is night and day. When handling and typing on the 2 keyboards, its clear which is the high quality, well made keyboard, and which will likely fall apart in a year or 2. The key strokes on the Arteck just have a very cheap feeling. But more importantly, its not very quiet. Sure, its a bit quieter than a standard keyboard, but not nearly as quiet as the Logitech. I need a quiet keyboard so when Im on the phone with clients, they dont hear me typing away as they talk to me. Not only can that be distracting for them, but I also dont want them to know Im taking notes at certain points. With the logitech, that was possible. It was truly quiet. Whereas with the Arteck, I am literally annoyed right now at the noise level of my clicks as I write this review. Im going to give it a few more days to be fair, but Im likely going to return it by the end of the week. If youre looking for a cheap, wireless, semi-quiet keyboard, then this might be your answer. But if youre looking for a good quality, truly silent keyboard, I recommend continuing your search as I plan on doing. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

I thought it was great at first - sleek looking - easy set up - comfortable keys But I began to notice that I was making a lot of errors. Was it my typing? Letters weremissing from senteces. Spaces missing. Letters flipped. Im leaving a few erorrs here in the piece to demonstrate what I mean. I think it has to do with the connection of the keys. Somehow they need an extra amount of force to make contact. I thought it was just me but my wife noticed it to. We have to really hammer down to getthe keys to input correctly. I called Amazon and they called the company. But there was no answer. So we just decided to make the return.

I really like this Keyboard. The one thing I would have wanted is the ability to adjust the amount of Tilt. The back end is rounded so it has a slight tilt. Some folks like high tilt some dont want any at all. I tend to go back and forth depending on what I am working on. Other than that one nit pick. I love the keyboard. Very good construction. And functionaility is well laid out. Love all the shortcuts along the top row. And typing feels really good. Was looking for something similar to the typing experience on my Lenovo thinkpad for my desk and this comes pretty close. I certainly have no problem recommending it for office use. Will update as I spend more time with it.

Great keyboard, just note the power button on the top right is a switch integrated into the on/off light. The instructions show the location of the power button, but arent particularity clear on how it functions. Its hard to see the switch which is actually integrated into the light itself. I assumed it was the button just below the light and ended up returning my first one because of it. I received quick and responsive customer service and got a replacement quickly from Arteck. After I received my 2nd keyboard and it wouldnt turn on, I realized it was doing something wrong and finally figured out where the power switch was actually located. After the embarrassment of that, I finally got a chance to use my new keyboard and really impressed with both the quality of construction and function of the keyboard. Nice tactile feel, makes using the keyboard a joy instead of a chore. My last keyboard gave a rather high angle of attack for my hand location, this keyboard is much lower and took a little time to get use to, but once use to using, it works very well.

It was actually quite shocking to get this keybaord, the promo images make it look like a traditional flat keyboard, but what I have is beyond pushing thin with very very shallow keystrokes. It even "swoops" inward from up to down making for a unique body for a keyboard. They should really mention this in the material because its thinness is quite exaggerated and needs some time to get used to. When you do get used to it, however, its comfortable with no real complaints. The keys are soft, no real amount of click to em but, again, when you get used to them you appreciate the build.

When I first got the product on my door, I opened it up and was immediately blown away at how cheap the product felt. The keys clank and are not sturdy. The plastic is just cheap plastic. The "metal" on the side is some sort of thin metal veneer. Overall the keyboard bends and flexes. The receiver is even worse. But I was actually ok with it being cheap feeling. It was only a $25 keyboard, so my expectations were low. But it was far cheaper feeling than I expected. The real problems I have, the reason I had to return it, was because it was incredibly dysfunctional when it comes to the keyboards primary job: typing. First of all, in order for this keyboard to work at all, you will most likely need to use a USB extension cord to move the nano-receiver away from your computer. The antenna in that receiver is almost non-existent, so interference between the computer and the receiver is common. This is a problem with many nano-receivers. Some companies like Logitech have been able to improve significantly in this area to allow for better range and performance, but this cheap product just didnt work unless you used a USB extension cord (not included) to move the receiver away from the main part of your computer. Ok, fine. So now you have the extension cord moved away from the computer, you are ready to type, right? Well yes... sorta. I mean it does technicallly work now. But it just doesnt perform like I am used to. The actual keypresses are delayed by what I would estimate is 100ms-250ms. This is 1/10 - 1/4 of a second. This might not sound like much, but if you are a fast typer, then this will drive you crazy. It isnt significant, but it is noticeable if you type fast. Also if you type fast, I think it is possible to hit some sort of maximum signals per second limit on this keyboard. Because the occasional keystroke will simply fail to send. It doesnt seem to be any key in particular. It is just as you get typing fast, you will occasionally lose a few keystrokes in the process. I would estimate the keystroke loss at about 1 in 30-50 key presses. Again, this might not sound like much, but if you are writing at a good clip this is enough to bother you. This means you are fixing typos in about every 5 words. As I began using this, it just started driving me crazy. I own 3 computers (2 desktops, 1 laptop) that I switch between throughout the day. I tried using this keyboard on different computers and had the same problems no matter which computer I paired it to. In addition, using any of the other keyboards with that computer, and everything was fine. This was when I knew it was the keyboard and not the user or the computer. I also found that this was the loudest of all my keyboards by a significant margin. In the end, I returned this product. It drove me crazy that I was constantly thinking about this keyboard as I type. A good keyboard is something that you dont think about, something that works in the background and is a seamless transition between your body and the computer. This keyboard is fine for those that need a basic keyboard for a basic computer user. For those that "hunt and peck" keys, you are probably not typing fast enough to experience the issues I have experienced. This could be a decent keyboard for an elderly computer user or child. But if you are a writer or a coder and type all day long, at fast speeds, then this keyboard will simply not cut it. I had to return mine, and I am glad I did. There are better keyboards out there. This was a piece of junk.

I just got this keyboard today and I love it. I like the low profile keys and that the letters are large. The keyboard is well-made, great quality, with a beautiful stainless steel back. It takes up less space than my old keyboard. My only problem is that I neglected to check that it was backlit. It is not. Seeing as I work a lot at night with the light off, this is a problem for me. I am trying to find a solution, but Im afraid Ill have to return it. Disappointed! Update: After my review, the seller apologized for the issue, refunded my original keyboard and offered me a backlit version. Such great customer service. Thank you Arteck!

Well... Ive had this for one day and I really like it. Cons, if you will, include: • I wish it was Bluetooth, rather than requiring a dongle. • I wish it had a Windows logo instead of a "Win" key. Thats pretty petty though. :) • The keys are a bit louder (but not really loud) as compared to my HP Spectre X360. Pros: • I really like the feel of the keys. They feel more similar to that of my notebook computer than any keyboard than any other Ive yet tried. The travel is just right (Im not really a fan of long travel keys) and there is almost no "wobble" in the keys. • I didnt realize how much I missed the full-sized cursor keys on my laptop. The cursor keys on this keyboard are great. • The ability to use function keys without pressing an Fn key is wonderful. I can lock the function aspect, too, so I can have either special controls or real function key use - my choice. • Recharging is simple and eliminates the need for batteries. • The keyboard is light and thin, yet sturdy. I suppose the aluminum base is key to this. Thus far Ive tried Microsoft keyboards, various Logitech keyboards, and various "other brands". This is by far my preference. Im tickled. Ill be buying more for sure.
