The edges are curled up...it looks goofy. Every single edge around this entire mouse pad is curled up...So theres like a 1 inch border of unusable space on an already small mouse pad... Not thrilled at all.

Are there any actual verified reviewers? Cant stand all these free vine reviews. Anyways, cant really complain too much. It isnt gigantic, has a rubber back so it doesnt move around. Some of the edges raise up a little. Serves its purpose.

Its cheap and its a mouse pad. Awesome. The wrist rest is a fair bit firmer than I would like. At the angle that I use this I find it actually is awkward to use. This is my personal opinion though, and perhaps other users wont have the same issue. My problem comes down to the construction though. The mouse pad section curls up around the corners constantly. I tried pressing it between two books overnight, and the pad still curls. Granted this mouse pad is thin enough that theyre easily pushed down, but it feels odd that there isnt a bit of backing on the product to keep it flatter. Second problem is the smell. I use my PC for quite a few hours some days, and my wrist comes away smelling like a gym mat. Really odd honestly. Im tossing this mouse pad in the trash, and going shopping for a different one.

Ive always used flat, normal mouse pads with no issue. But I saw this and thought it might be more comfortable for extended use. I was wrong about that. Having my wrist constantly resting on a hump is awkward and uncomfortable. So this is a design that doesnt work for me. Also, the usable portion of this thing is too small. Im constantly going off the edges of it. Worse still, the edges of this thing are curling up for some reason, which looks bad and decreases the amount of usable space on an already undersized mouse pad. Bad product all around.

Its a black mouse pad with a gel-based wrist rest. It eases wrist stress. It is comfortable. The base prevents slipping, and the pad is made of some sort of high-quality fabric that allows precision mouse control. It will probably last a long time. So why four stars? I like it, thats why. It works. Thanks to the AmazonBasics Gel Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest, I wont have to worry about destroying tendons and developing claw handed cramps. But I do not love it. I never will love it. What kind of person would love their mouse pad? Think about that carefully.

Wasted money on this thinking it would be soft and flexible, boy was I wrong. This thing is the worst purchase I have ever made of a Amazon Basics product and I am totally disappointed with it. Its hard and very uncomfortable to use, the edges came rolled up in the box it arrived in and it refuses to lay flat. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and buy something you can actually use rather something you will throw out after a days attempted use. Terrible product! Buy a brick and use that instead of this mouse pad, youll be better off and bricks are MUCH cheaper. Never again!

This product is shaped well and the gel is comfortable. However, the mouse pad arrived with a horrible rubber tire smell. As a chemist, I can tell you this is undoubtedly chemical compounds like phenol, benzene, carbon disulfide, isophorone, cyclohexanone, and many more. And yes, compounds like phenol and benzene CAUSE CANCER. Thanks cheapo manufacturers! Eventually, the compounds will evolve (evaporate) from the product and it wont smell. I suggest putting in the garage and checking back in a month. Others suggest using white vinegar for 30 minutes. Do this at your own risk. It may destroy the pad.

I would highly recommend this mousepad. The entire pad is gel and the wrist rest is very comfortable. My only complain is the "Amazon Basics" imprinted at the top of the pad which IS advertised. This product arrived individually boxed within my main delivery box (as most amazon basics are) and with a plastic cover around the product in the box.

Ive had it about two days and it seems to help prevent pain in my wrist. After reading over information at my physical therapists, I decided none of the chairs and desks at retail chains were ergonomically correct. Ive stuck with a desk my grandfather made for me and a used office chair. Resting my keyboard on the partially pulled out drawer works. The height of my mouse pad didnt work as well. The gel pad of the Amazon Wrist Pad enables me to use my mouse without having a downward bend in my wrist. I highly recommend visiting your physical therapist and asking to read literature on workplace ergonomics.

I have an articulating keyboard tray under my desk that I like to keep slightly tilted when Im working. It has a built-in mouse tray that can be adjusted separately to be (mostly) flat and level, even when the keyboard portion is tilted at an angle. But its a PITA to deal with, so I removed it and cut out a long piece of wood to fit over the keyboard tray, so that I could have more room. That means that when I tilt the keyboard tray, the whole thing is now tilted, including where the mouse is. That also means the mouse wants to slide right off the tray. Not good! So I was happy to find this mouse pad, which is the perfect length (exactly the vertical width of my keyboard tray), has a great gripping quality so it never moves, and includes the built pad which keeps my mouse from sliding off the tray when its tilted. Win-win-win all around. Im a very happy camper! :)
