Its really a darn shame this computer didnt live up to its specs. Im sure it would have been great... if it had worked. The first computer gave repeated Blue Screens of Death three days into power up. Nothing installed, just my 10 year old watching YouTube videos. Thankfully Amazon has an easy return polity. The replacement showed up two days later (before Id even sent the original back) and the problems were worse straight out of the gate. First power up took 45 minutes. I chalked that up to Windows updates and first start time that Id forgotten about with the first computer. Once into Windows it was incredibly laggy. Id get the screen to go black and give me a big circular wait icon for 30m at a time: Once again I figured Windows was updating in the background. So I left the computer on overnight to let it do its thing. In the morning: black screen complaining about cant find the Boot Medium. Hmm. I then checked the guts to make sure nothing was jostled free during shipment (it wasnt) but I did find the SSD had been installed incorrectly. I fixed that and buttoned it up. It booted right up! Except the display was now cutting in and out: black to Windows to black. So I tried an HDMI cable (instead of DP): same problem. I tried a second monitor: now its stable. Odd. Windows still incredibly laggy... Im suspecting SSD problems along with video card problems. I run CrystalDiskMark6 to speed test the SSD: it took 40m to finish the test and some of the numbers came back zero, so theres clearly something going on in the SSD pipeline. Shut down, eat dinner, during which the computer wakes itself up and has the Boot Medium error again. Gah! Blah blah blah: The seemingly great deal on this computer turned up bust. Twice. My kids almost had a great Christmas. Twice.

I would have given this product 5 Stars but it is only deserving of 1 Star. I’ll tell you why. I have only had my Desktop for 3 days and the cheap, garbage, ADATA SSD they put in it died. I tried calling their Customer Service Number and low and behold they are closed at 5:30 pm. Now, I have a $1400 brick on my desk. Yes, I read reviews from other buyers and I should have listened and not bought this trash! It’s a good deal up front but on the inside they install garbage hardware so they can still make a profit. I should probably see what kind of trash Power Supply they installed. Their customer service number should be open 24-7! I am going to contact customer service in the morning, they better fix this! I got one last thing to say: If you are looking at this product read the reviews and don’t dismiss the negative ones as upset customers. I did and look at where it got me! I’m out $1400.00 and now I don’t have a working desktop! I had to write this review on my iPhone! Buyer Beware!

Quickly shipped and received with prime, very excited about the computer. The product I received has a MSI Aero gtx 1070, 2x8gb XPG DDR4, with a z370 pro4 mobo. Really quiet, and quick. The Rgb lighting is cool but a pain to switch with the remote, tip: aim remote down the grill on top of the case. Definitely a deal with all the components included in light of current crypto mining/video card demand.

Failed right out of the box! If you are looking for a computer you know that is the worst kind of disappointment! Looking for a gaming Rig to handle anything that we could throw at it, and the power button was the stopper! After calling tech support they couldnt get it past the beginning either, just a total waste of time! I have bought many computers from many different manufacturers over the years, many of those companies are out of business now, but I have never had one not power to home screen! We decided to try to give them a second chance, and purchase another of these. The second one didnt have the liquid cooling or even the the correct graphics card, just came with a basic graphics card!!!!!! Their product control is obviously completely worthless! Going back to buying one from a reliable company!

It came packaged quite well. A box within a box with packing around it. At start up I was greeted with the wonderful message below. Talk about ruining the experience of getting a new computer. I mean they build them, cant they figure out where the memory is supposed to go to be optimized? Luckily I was able to do it myself. But I shouldnt have had to... Anyways, it plays games quite well. I have multiplied the frame rate by 4 times over my old computer. World of Tanks is clocking along at about 120 FPS with maximized settings. Battlefront plays amazingly well and quite smoothly. The 8 gigabyte card is very impressive in performance. The solid-state drive has a very quick load time and the one terabyte is what you would expect. The processor is only scoring about a 10 to 15% on The Benchmark scales compared against other processors of the same type. I then did some research and realized I did not have mine overclocked or set to turbo like they must have. Honestly it is fast enough for me without it. Would I buy it again? Right now I would say yes, but Ive only had it for a week.

UPDATE: Within 1 week my computer is no longer functional. It shut off and attempted to cycle power three times and now there is no input to my monitor keyboard or mouse. I should have read other reviews. Please do yourself a favor and dont buy from ibuypower Specs: Intel 8700K, Z370, Nvidia RTX 2070 8 GB, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 240GB SSD, liquid cooled The computer arrived early and was packaged very well. Booted up immediately from SSD. Honestly no issues with the functionality of the computer. The only issue that I had was that I heard a high pitched whining noise coming from inside the case, it was so loud and distracting that I could not enjoy my time in front of the computer. I discovered it to be the LED strips that are hardwired in with the case. After reading some reviews and other various posts I came to find out that this is a somewhat common issue with this case. I changed the lighting settings and the noise lessened but did not fully go away unless I turned the LEDs completely off. As I have heard horrors from Ibuypowers customer service and quality control, I was unwilling to send it back for them to replace. Ill replace the case myself if I ever decide that I want a pretty light display. Overall Im satisfied with my purchase.

On day 3 of what was an easy set up, the computer crashed into a never ending loop of blue screen of death. After hours of exhaustive troubleshooting, I found that the RAM sticks failed. I replaced with another set costing an additional $170. Other than that, the computer is great. Specs: Liquid Cooled Overclockable i7-8700K, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 Update: 1/16/2019: Low and high intensive games freezes and encountered corruption on monitor, crashing while running games or application, system freezes and random reboots. After days of troubleshoot, swapping out the Geforce RTX 2070 seems to be solution--although it has been only a couple hours. Getting the part replaced is not without the headaches. iBuyPower has been good about replacing the part but I expect a PC to be turnkey at this price point...therefore, I cannot recommend this pc.

Bought this for my cousin for Christmas around Black Friday time. Opened up Christmas Day, up an running January 1st/2nd. It worked for about a week maybe 1.5 weeks before it crashed back to desktop on multiple Steam games. Ran through event viewer and the error IDs and critical error Ids were astounding. Ensured all drivers were up to date, ran games again, same issues. Wiped and fresh installed all drivers, same issues. My rig came with a Gigabyte RTX 2070 OC, which if you do a basic level of research you will find they all seem to run well for maybe a month then get the error 13 in event viewer. Seems to be a common trend on RMAd GPUs as well. Wiring inside was pretty sloppy. had a wire from cpu cooler pulling down on the RAM as well as wrapped around the CPU coolers tubing. Was also getting very high temperatures on the CPU which really should not happen with a liquid cooler, but i suspect there was no thermal paste applied like many other reviews indicated. Audio plug on the bottom of the motherboard looked as looked like it was plugged in awkwardly but the wiring was so tight it was pulling the pins out. RAM was not fully plugged in either. May have been from CPU cooling wire pulling on it. HAd a similar issues with the GPU but all i had to do was give it a light touch and it clicked in. Parts wise, you are pretty much getting what you pay for. Outside the RAM and GPU the parts are quality parts. I know the GPU was used to save on cost and advertise the RTX 2070 but its a poor quality GPU. The RAM company I have never even heard of and had to search a good while to find the company and it was half in an Asian language. Same thing with the liquid cooler. Its a never heard of brand that I could not even find. Case was really nice though and it did turn on so thats something.

Dear friends - I bought this computer on Black Friday, because I looked as a great deal, at least in theory. Great processor and graphics card for a great price. It was also my first purchase with delivery abroad directly from Amazon for a large price item. Ive been an Amazon customer since 1997, and Ill stay as a customer, because Amazon provides great service. I was willing to try. 1. Delivery to Chile: really depends on which carrier Amazon uses. It seems rather random which one is selected. On the same day I bought other items - they got shipped by DHL, and arrived earlier than promised. This shipment in particular was shipped by UPS. Guaranteed delivery was for Nov. 30th in Chile. it finally arrived Dec 12th. Amazon customer service was a little odd (maybe it was a chatbot, who asked me to call the police!), by finally they helped my sort out what had happened in UPS (item was waiting in customs). Amazon refunded the extra money paid in shipment. 2. Video card. This is where research pays off. I didnt do enough research on the RTX 2070 card. According to many posts from Nvidia.com forums, many cards die on arrival or have significant issues. Unfortunately it was the case for me. The card behaved normal, until I started a game - World of Warcraft (which Ive been playing for over 12 yrs). Screen started getting artifacts, and PC crashed (black screen, frozen - had to hard-reset by cycling power). PC didnt reboot. After upgrading video card drivers to latest version, same issue continues. Forums say: 1) Defective card 2) Defective power supply 3) Drivers Since the power supply seems ok by the voltages measured by Apps like CPU ID, i concluded that the video card was an issue. It was consistent with all the forum inputs. Amazon customer service is great, but seems that Amazon still needs to improve its global sales. Instead of returning the videocard, Amazon asked me to return the whole computer! I kindly declined a replacement computer, given the bad experience with the shipment, and decided to buy a new card from a local store - GTX1080 are on sale now! Will probably RMA the card with Gigabyte, since it has a 3 yr warranty. Amazon will make me a partial refund for the PC due to the failed video card. Unfortunately that doesnt help me very much On the bright side, the PC runs very smooth. The SSD + the i7 8th generation is really an upgrade from my previous PC (AMD Phenom II X6 1090T), going from 6 to 12 logical processor. But the best change is noise (or lack thereof). The watercooling for the CPU is great! I have to look at the computer to see if it is turned on (previous one was so noisy, that you could know it was on next door!) Great purchase overall, except for the unfortunate logistic issue with UPS and the defective video card (which I guess is partially my fault by not researching it properly).

Only had it for a day now, but heres some feedback I have: * The power button sticks. Main reason why Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I know this is a petty reason for knocking it down an entire star, but if I buy something new, it should be given me with all the moving parts working properly. * Could be my stupidity., but it took me a second to find the HDMI port. The quick guide said it should be where the display port is (which I never even knew of). So like an amateur, I tried plugging the HDMI into the Display port. I ended up finding the HDMI port further down below. It was covererd with a black plastic piece. * My TV is plugged into the PC with the HDMI. The screen occasionally blacks out or flickers. I need to figure out if this is being caused by the PC or the TV. ***UPDATE*** It looks like the issue was the HDMI cable. * Like I read in other reviews, you need to hold the LED light controller directly next to the PC in order for it to change. This is most likely because of the manufacturer of the LED lights, not iBUYPOWER * Itd be nice if the the Amazon product details or iBUYPOWER listed the exact type of RAM in the PC. I know its DD4 RAM, but Im picky/consistent when comes to having the exact brand/MHz/etc. of RAM.
