Surprisingly slow performance. Not a good value. I may sell it, if I cant optimize it. Cant even handle opening .jpg in windows photo

I am puzzled by this computer. My old one also an HP I had no problems with. This I cannot understand why they did not integrate Windows Photo Gallery for this computer. I tried to download Photo Gallery but Windows 10 does not support it. Why?????? I still have pictures that I need to scan into my computer. Now I am going to have to buy another computer with Photo Gallery on just so I can do my pictures. Now dont get me wrong I am not bashing this new computer. I think I was better off keeping my old computer. Unless Im missing something here I say to Microsoft please integrate the old programs into the next generation computers and please quit fixing things that aint broke. I know this will be the last computer I upgrade to. So if you like your old computer and its programs then stay where you are because there is no reason to upgrade.

This is a very good computer at a good price. I added a graphic card to it but thats all. The only complaint I have is that it doesnt have enough USB ports. My old computer had 12 but this one only has half that many. This might not seem like a big deal but when you realize that one is taken up by keyboard and mouse you see how they go quickly. Then I have a Blue Yeti microphone in one, etc. So I had to get a hub. The computer has plenty of ram and processing power. I can play Battlefront II on it and thats really the most important thing isnt it? My last computer was an HP and lasted nearly a decade before slowing down.

In trying to price it competitively compared to a custom-build, HP has delivered a rather poor quality build. Purchased this in Nov 2017, and had since replaced the HDD with an SSD, and all was well. Since a month, the unit is throwing out annoying noise like it were a 5 year old tower. The noise seems to be emanating from the power supply or its fan, that I need to confirm and address. Otherwise, it is just okay for the price (paid 660 during Thanksgiving discounts for an i7-7700-12GBDDR4-1TBHDD), not cheap not pricey - if compared to a custom-build. Given Ryzen and Coffee Lake have come out with better performance/$, there is no reason to buy this in 2019.

This desktop is a very refined device. I was disappointed to find that the hard drive was not in a standard cage configuration, but the HDD was big enough that its capacity was 2x the HDD being replaced and porting the information from the old HDD to this new one via a network connection wasnt a big deal. The fact that there was an optical drive was useful for some of the legacy software I wanted to put on it. The cooling system is much quieter than the machine it replaced -- and the box runs cool. The support from HP has been outstanding. They notified me of available updates which installed without a glitch. Their diagnostics run in the background and only bug me when they find an issue. Im not a gamer and this machine isnt fast enough for that environment, but its plenty fast for video editing and photo editing.

I bought this for my wife when her old PC died. She is very happy with it, although the old one was so slow that this is not a high threshold. She is not a power user, but for her limited needs it works great. I recommended it to my daughter, who also bought one, and she is very happy with it also.

Great for the price but unfortunately cant add an SSD without disconnecting other thing, not much expandability.

I needed to replace my present desktop computer. It was very slow and taking forever to browse the web. I decided on purchasing the HP Pavilion 570-P030. After reading several reviews on Amazon I decided to purchase it! Great decision. It is lightning fast with all the update applications to include Windows 10. HP has always been my preferred operating computer system and the HP Pavilion 570-P030 does not disappoint.

No hard drive or RAM at all in this machine. So of course it does not work at all. And another odd thing, the specs on the box arent even the same as what I ordered. The computer I ordered was supposed to have 12 Gb of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive. The box the "computer" came in claimed to have 16 Gb of RAM and a 2 TB hard drive. It turned out it had NO RAM and NO Hard Drive. I really needed this computer to be up and running by this weekend. Now I have to send it back. I will order from a different seller.
