I would give this zero stars if I could. These guys should have their reseller certification/license pulled. The computer was supposed to have a SATA hard drive, but actually came with an older hard drive. That drive wouldnt boot up properly; given the message I reported, the vendor said the drive had crashed. Really? I thought these computers were supposed to be refurbished and in working condition. Mine was also dusty inside; it had not been cleaned out. Had to wait for a new drive to be sent out out. The vendor did nothing to rush the process, even though they sent a lemon in the first place. When the new drive finally arrived, it was the SATA that was in the original description. However, it doesnt fit in the large space occupied by the larger platter drive. I requested the vendor send me some mounting rails, but never heard back from them. So my new drive is just laying around inside the computer case, not secure at all. Eventually Ill get some rails for it, but I shouldnt have to. The vendor sent a computer with a hard drive other than what was advertised, and then didnt completely make it right. Poor quality vendor in my book. Other than that, the computer is okay. Ive had to tweak some BIOS settings, since the computer kept wanting to boot from the USB stick I used for backing up stuff. The case doesnt fit well, either. Something is bent out of shape, and thats possibly because the power supply is a bit large for the case. Or some other issue going on. But I got it to close fairly well; thankfully its not something Ill be getting into frequently. Bottom line - be wary of this vendor. And dont be surprised if it takes longer than expected until youre finally up and running, or if you have to spend additional money to bring the computer up to what you thought you were buying.

So far, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The unit arrived in about 5 business days. It was well packed. the keyboard and mouse provided were of reasonable quality. The machine itself had one minor cosmetic blemish on the right end of the case. It appeared that the previous owner put a sticker (dontcha hate it when people do that) on he metal surface which left a minor dull patch about 3 inches across. Since the box sits under my table, its no big deal. Everything else works great. The machine itself is faster than my two 3.4 GHz. I7s at home (think they dont have the 3.9 turbo boost feature). They also dont have SSDs, which also accounts for the peppy performance. My unit came with Intel 4000 integrated graphics, which Ill assume is "better" than the 2500 advertised. The only disappointment was that the Amazon ad had a big WiFi sticker on it. I read the details, didnt see WiFi, just saw "connect with wires Ethernet". So, I pre-ordered a $15 WiFi dongle so I wasnt too disappointed when as expected, this machine had no WiFi. All in all, this is a good deal on a pretty nice system. Highly recommended!

This machine rocks! For the price, this was the best option with the most speed for everyday computing. Really fast due to the Solid State Drive, or "SSD". 3rd-Gen Core i7 CPU @ 3.9Ghz will speed through most everyday tasks with ease. Highly-recommended computer, from an IT specialist for 35 years.

When you order a machine like this, you get the bare bones! This means more storage space for you and the ability to set up the machine like you wish. The activation of Windows Pro was simple. The machine is quiet as a mouse. No heating issues at all! All USB ports work, and there are plenty. We put the machine through some software stress, multiple windows, multiple browser tabs, drop box, streaming and other situational computer tasks, at the same time. This machine held up like a champ, didnt even wheeze! We bought this for our office and it has been a workhorse. The machine boots up SUPER FAST. We were so happy to find that the machine was clean, no hardware issues and the case looked new. I hadnt realized it was a horizontal case when I bought it, but we love that now. We were able to put it right on top of the desk. We didnt need huge storage space, but I believe this machine is expandable. It fits our needs here in a 4 person, international office perfectly. We use drop box and cloud for most all our storage anyway. The biggest issue we had was networking all the rest of our office computers to this machine with the Windows 10 Pro. IT WAS NOT a networking problem with this computers hardware, it is a known issue with Windows 10 recent updates, starting with the April 2018 update. After an entire day of troubleshooting this issue, and setting different settings inside windows, we were successful. To that point it was crazy but we are so happy now. Do not hesitate to order and know that this is the fastest and best refurb weve ever ordered, so much better than our last one, a Dell. Very satisfied with our purchase.

The HP Elite 8300 I received is in excellent condition and the salesman tells me has a brand new hard drive. Mine is a 250GB SSD. Note that the 2018 does not refer to when it was built, just the listing year. The pc is 4 years old, and is very fast. It has worked perfectly for me, and is a very good value.

Great value oriented desktop. The SSD *really* makes a difference. In store, something similar would easily cost $600-$700. Plus, the product had the legitimate Microsoft Refurb sticker for quick and easier Windows 10 registration and set up. Because its a 2013 chassis / original, some of the ports and connections you might see on a newer model are different. But everything pictures is accurate. Highly recommend for anyones daily internet use, and its got enough horsepower to process multiple applications at the same time without any obvious drain on systems resources.

Product works great. The computer arrived in a very well-packaged form with information attached. It works exactly as described and I have to say HP refurbs always work very reliably. I had purchased a few HP refurbished computers and they are all very high quality products. The specs on this are very sweet and the machine is as promised. I will probably buy a few upgrades to make it better. But overall, a very good product.

The moment I opened the box from this company, I knew I was in trouble. I dont particularly care about the cosmetic appearance of things as long as they work, and I didnt expect a refurb to look and feel like new, but this product was in real bad condition. It was extremely dusty, the chassis was banged up, and there was gunk in the USB ports (one of which was so bent that I couldnt even plug the crappy mouse into it). WORST OF ALL, it didnt work. On the initial boot up, an error message in the BIOS appeared indicating a system failure, likely caused by power loss. I researched the issue for about 10 minutes before determining that a replacement part was most likely necessary to MAYBE remedy the problem. I didnt purchase this PC just to turn around and purchase replacement parts, or to play doctor. I needed a computer that was fast and reliable. Not a project. While the boot up could not get past the BIOS screen, I was able to hear the fan, and it was incredibly loud. I mean, it was loud to the point that even if the computer did work, I dont think I would keep it. Sounded awful, and emitted a high frequency pitch that was unacceptable. When you call the company, you do not get the same company on the phone. "Microbee" is either a fictitious name, or whatever else. Do not count on reaching them if you have to. Moreover, I am quite certain the company is based out of India, so good luck dealing with them after you can no longer deal with Amazon. Overall, this was a horrible product that was delivered to me. It might have turned me off refurbished PCs altogether because what I got was a serious clunker. I took a gamble and lost. I considered asking for a replacement, but I cant imagine ordering another from a company that sent that out to begin with. I mean, all they had to do was turn the damn thing on. Not sure how hard that would have been.

Without a very very close inspection, it is difficult to tell that the unit is actually used and refurbished. This third generation i7 Intel CPU is plenty powerful enough for the majority of users. I removed the case cover to inspect the inside before I even powered it up, and it extremely clean. I installed a second SDHD drive (required mounting hardware) and I use that drive as the backup for the Win10 Pro OS together with my stuff. It comes securely boxed in a box with a easy to ready setup instruction sheet with pictures. I did by the Square Trade optional warranty.

Mine came in with some pretty serious cosmetic issues. Specifically, lots of scratches, one of the rubber feet is glued on, there is a slight gap between the front panel and the rest of the case, and the fan is a bit noisy. You take a chance when you buy these. Could get a pretty one or one like mine. Nonetheless, the specs are great for $330. All you need to do is buy small form factor graphics card (I got a Geforece GT 710) and it will make for a good cheap office computer. Id keep a lookout on Ebay though. Could find a similar one for a better price.
