I bought 2 of these computers refurbished from the same seller and both have different outcomes. The first one I bought works to this day and one of the best desktops Ive used. Its cheap, and runs quality specs that cost close to 600+ to get on a new laptop. For those people who just wanna check email, maybe browse social media and do some other simple online stuff, this computer will run great for years. Now the 2nd one I bought worked great for 3 months, but then one day it wouldnt turn on. I guess it just died and wouldnt come back to life. Luckily, Amazon processed my return and I got my money back.

Mine was not refurbished at all. It arrived with a bashed top and rear sheet metal and the packaging was not bashed. So it had to be bashed when it was packed for shipment to us. I havent tried running it yet, but it will probably work. I need it right now, so probably wont return it if it works, but Ill watch out who I buy from next time.

This computer has a problem with boot times. It can take upwards of 2 minutes to boot up. To fix this problem, you need to do the following: Here is how to fix. Turn off the PC....Then Replace PC. ooops, just kidding... Turn off the PC...press the power button, then start tapping the ESC key until you are presented with the boot option menu. From there, select SYSTEM SETUP. Once inside SYSTEM SETUP, select SECURITY, inside that menu select DEVICE SECURITY. Once inside that menu, select EMBEDDED SECURITY DEVICE ---> DEVICE AVAILABLE, change this one thing to DEVICE HIDDEN. Press F10 to save, and then go back in to double check it is HIDDEN. Exit BIOS by saving all changes. Reboot

Set computer up about 3.5 weeks after receiving. Processor failed after 4 days of actual use. Intel Core i5-2400 3.1GHz Intel Core i5-2400 3.1GHz. Vendor refused to help as they say we had past the 30 day warranty. Now own a $200 boat anchor.

I purchased this and received the machine but need to load windows 10 by entering a 25 digit code. after re-entering 5 times and checking the code didnt work. i called support at the supplier. they were efficient and told me another would have to be mailed out and this one shipped back. they over nighted the next machine which that too had the same issue. two machines to pack up and ship back, frustrating and agravating.

Ive had it for a week and its working great so far. I researched the processors that were available in my refurb price range and the Intel Core i5-2400 got the highest rating even ranking higher than the more expensive units. I was using a 10 year old dual core PC before this so it feels like a brand new computer. Im not a gamer so graphics are just fine with Netflix, Prime, YouTube etc running effortlessly. It boots up quickly (Windows 10 Pro) and runs quietly. There are a few scratches on it but thats to be expected. 8GB DDR3 - 500GB SATA HDD and DVDRW. Ill update if need be.

Arrived defective. Seller does not check software and hardware before sending. Paid an I.T. professional 3 hours of set up, only for it be a hardware error.

I ordered this as a mothers day gift. When I set it up for her the first thing I notice was the screen was not in color, but was just green. After talking to HP tech support that Amazon connected me to nothing could fix it, so Amazon issued me a return ticket and ordered me another. Upon opening it I noticed the DVD drive was pushed in and not flush with the case. I powered it up and got a clicking noise and then and error stating non system disk. which led me to believe the hard drive is bad. Returning this one and will not be ordering again. I have ordered refurbished electronic equipment before, but these 2 look like there was no effort for quality control at all.

Got this for my wife as work computer and she loves it. Tower even though referbished looks brand new! Setup was a breeze no issues so far. I highly recommend this tower if your looking for a work or catch everything home computer. Cant beat the price either.

Great for the price and if youre doing nothing fancy. I wanted a basic desktop so I replace my much newer but weak Asus. Thus got this knowing that it came with plenty of ram and a good processor. But, also got a graphics card to add HDMI, which this computer doesnt have. So far, Ive had no issues, everything works great, and is in good condition. Only downside is its much heavier than I anticipated so youll definitely need to make sure your wall mounted entertainment center shelves can support it.
