My old PC was acting up with processor problems so I needed to replace it. I did not want to spend a lot of money and desktops are hard to come by these days now that laptops are so inexpensive. I stumbled upon these refurbished Dells and decided to take a chance. My previous PC was custom built by me with some high end components. I pulled the RAM, video card and solid state hard drive from my old machine and placed it in this refurb for a bit of a performance boost. The Windows 10 license was valid and setup quickly. Machine performance has been very good with no complaints at all. The only reason I subtracted a star was because the case did have blemishes, some that could have been taken care of with a little better cleaning by the refurbisher. Overall very pleased with the purchase and would buy again.

The computer arrived clean (inside and out) and ready to use. There was instructions on how to activate the copy of Windows 10 that was pre-installed. The computer is perfect for our family of four to use for school, browse the internet and play learning games. The computer build image must have been updated in the last month because there were very few updates once it started up. (This is the mark of a good conscientious company) The computer was ready to use in matter of minutes. It comes with no cables but the computer uses the standard computer cables. VGA only for display.

I got this PC for about $175, which I think is a great value. The example I got came with Windows 10 Professional already activated, and the Refurbished PC Activation Code correctly stamped on the case. I do quite a bit of tinkering inside my PCs; here are my notes: -the Intel Core-i5 3470 processor is a pretty old vintage, about 2012 if I remember correctly. This is the reason why this PC is so cheap, because this is the component you wont be able to swap out. Its not a bad processor at all, and the attached fan was pretty quiet. -it shipped with 8gb of PC3-12800 RAM in 3 DIMMs, with the motherboard having a total of 4 DIMMs. This means as long as 1 DIMM remains empty you can easily expand the RAM to 16gb for $30-40, just search for "PC3-12800" and buy an 8gb stick. I did find the plastic housings on the DIMMs to be pretty brittle and difficult to work with - I damaged one of them during install, and the RAM will not seat correctly without the plastic housings. Be careful when you are installing RAM, as it will be easy to break the plastic housings. -The main limitation for gaming: my example shipped with a Dell 275W power supply, and there is not a ton of room in the case for a larger power supply due to the mechanism attached to the case which helps it snap closed. I tried to install a 1000W brick and it would not fit. Either try a smaller PS (maybe 500W?) or use a lower power consumption graphics card. I installed a mid-level GTX into the PCI-E port and it works fine with the stock 275W brick. If your graphics card requires additional 6-pin power from the supply, you will not be able to use the stock 275W supply at all. -additional free bays for PCI, SATA, and optical readers/writers. The supplied optical DVD drive will read but not write. Overall its a great PC for tinkering, as long as you know the limitations beforehand. You are not going to make a top notch gaming rig out of this PC, but if you can find a better power supply that will fit in the case, you can game with this.

Ordered the Dell 7010 last Thursday and it came in on Monday. The packaging was excellent. The specs were the same as advertised. To add it up, you could not build a new computer like this with Windows 10 installed for $150. This is a very capable system. I added a cheap $50 SSD drive to boot from then shrunk the C partition and cloned the partitions from the 1TB Seagate to the SSD. Then repartitioned the 1TB for one large data drive. Very fast performance overall. Im not using it for gaming so the internal Intel graphics is good enough for just administrative work. An Zotec NVIDIA graphics card can be added later if needed.

Works fine out of the box. Weve purchased about 40 Dell Optiplex returbs past 10 years for our office and only 1 failed after 4 years. We dont own any new units. Returns are the way to go. This unit looked new inside and out. Nice specs for an office computer.

This product is exactly what the advert says. The disk was 1TB, memory was 8 Gig and CPU an i5. Clean as a whistle inside. I added another .5 TB HD and found that HD bays on Dells are bigger than a 3.5" drive and you need a Dell Disk Caddy (six bucks at Amazon). With the caddy the drive snaps into place without screws and is easy to remove. The VGA, HDMI, front and rear headphone sockets, and all USB ports are fine. I ran memtest86 for 24 hrs - good memory. There are two SATA 3 sockets and two SATA 2, I moved the DVD reader/burner to one of the SATA 2 so that the other HD could use the higher speed socket. So standard I made it into a dual boot Linux/Windows computer in just minutes. If I need another I wont hesitate!

This computer replaces my older computer at home. The computer, so far, has been very reliable and just what I wanted. It has the PS2 inputs, a VGA output and a lot of USB ports, both USB 2 and USB 3. I can add a video card when I want to go to HDMI output. It runs everything that Ive thrown at it without problems. Later I will expand the memory and there is room for adding more drives if I want. I did have an issue with the computer initially, but Blair took immediate action to resolve it nicely and to my satisfaction. I have contacted their customer service as well as their technical support and received great support each time, if not instantly, within a couple of hours. In short, I am very satisfied with both the computer and the vendor at this point.

The experience of buying this computer was better than most times buying new. It arrived early with no surprises. It started right up and windows 10 worked beautifully. I use the computer for business and not for gaming. However, I do use a lot of interactive charts. The graphics are great and I am sure they would be super for gaming as well. I saved all the information about Stallion Tek so I can use them again. They try harder and succeed.

Very great in value! Overall, get it. Im tying this review on it and I have few complaints. First of all, using it is very snappy. Even for being a hard drive, it boots in less than 20 seconds. The inside of the case is very clean, with few minor scratches on the exterior. This is what mine came with: PC (duh), keyboard, and mouse. The keyboard and mouse are decent, though you may want a better one. Most of the reviews are stating that all their ram slots are used with 2gb sticks, but mine has 2 4gb sticks. Thats nice. Overall, very nice to have. It would be great if you wanted a family pc or a cheap gaming rig. It works for everything. Oh yes, you will need a better wifi adapter if you will be far from the router. Im across the house from the router, and i get about 1 mbs. Other than that, get it.
