Purchased July 20, 2018, returned for repair on September 14, 2018 and currently have no date when it will be repaired and returned. I was hesitant to purchase a Dell in the first place and Im regretting my decision daily. The repair company has replaced the operating system and is on day 9 of waiting on a new memory board and a new system board. I was told Dell is very slow in sending replacement parts. Incredibly disappointed with this whole process. Lessons learned: 1) Never buy a Dell and; 2) Never buy a computer on Amazon. I will update this review once we receive the system back.

This PC has an absolutely worthless LAN that only connects to the net if you remove the RJ45 jack and reinsert the cable half a dozen times each time you want to try to connect. There is nothing wrong with the cable, as I used it successfully on my old computer sitting right next to this one. ANY cable does the same thing. It also isnt the net modem port, as that works with any other PC or laptop I use it with. I called support and, as usual the person answering spoke English as a second language and could barely be understood, even while holding your breath so you could hear each weirdly nuanced syllable. They said I bought it 4 months ago, and that is too long, unless you want to pay $200 for out technician to remotely log into my computer. I said Adios. The computer itself is great, but most of em are and they dont come with a lemon of a LAN.

I recently purchased this computer and for the first week, I loved it. It was fast and the graphics were excellent. During the second week, my d: drive disappeared and after reading numerous "fix it" articles (which I tried and none worked) I returned the computer for a replacement. I received the new computer and while playing Fortnite I accidentally disconnected the headphone jack from the front of the computer. When I replaced the jack, the computer shut down and would not restart. So this morning I am requesting another replacement. I had actually thought about getting a refund and going to purchase a new one from a big box store but I thought that would be a bad idea based on my experience will returning defective products to these stores and getting the warranty lectures and possible restocking fees, etc... I hope this works out.
