I recently got this PC and did the basic check of connections to make sure nothing came loose in shipping on the 15 minute ride from the factory to my house and everything seemed good. except the hard drive wasnt properly seated in the bay and looked haphazardly thrown in the drive bay area. But I thought maybe it just got knocked loose in shipping, no biggie. so I powered up and thought thats strange the fan leds wont turn on. And in about 15 minutes I got a blue screen memory management crash. I rebooted It and it kept crashing about every 15 minutes . So I figure ok bad stick of ram and obviously this things got some other issues, Ill call them in the morning. Thinking most companies would be like "Sounds like you got a bad one, let us replace that for you.". Not CYBERPOWERPC this is how they employ their free workforce. "Have you ever wanted to do low end PC tech work and not get paid for it? Then you should buy a CYBERPOWERPC" The next morning I asked them to return the PC, because its obviously not in working order. They in turn ask if I would diagnose which stick of ram went bad and, then go through and check every connection in the PC. So I can reverse engineer their build to find where they screwed up and fix it for them. Me being MR.nice guy and not thinking of the time sink this could be is like "sure, grumble grumble". At this point I was like anything to get off the phone after waiting on hold for over 30 mins. I come to find out they never connected the fans to the power supply or even ran the wires to them. Its not like they came loose. The connectors were tucked away in separate sections of the build and were obviously never connected. Well almost 5 hours of work and driving to the factory and I have a PC that I pretty much built, and that ran without fans for hours. The way things are going Im just waiting for the next piece to give out. At least I got the insurance. That being said the components arent half bad and the customer service reps after the the 20 to 30 minute wait are pretty helpful. TLDR; 4/10 Wont play again. Dont Buy unless you want to join the CYBERPOWERPC unpaid workforce. Youre probably better off buying the components and putting it together yourself. At least youll save a few bucks and get better parts. I mean you probably wouldnt forget to connect the fans.
