First of all: Thanks Amazon for resolving this problem. But buyer beware: Manufacturer and Insurance are of no help! I purchased the device December 2017 and used it to satisfaction until March 2018. Then one day it died. No power on the USB port. No image on screen, just a blue power light. I first contacted the company that I paid for an extended warranty (SquareTrade). I purchased the warranty through Amazon at time of device purchase and expected that I would get a refund or replacement in case the product failed within 4 years. No such thing: "Thank you for contacting us about your item’s issue. It appears that your item (claim xxxxxxxxxx) is still covered by the manufacturer. This means the manufacturer, rather than SquareTrade, is responsible for fixing the problem you reported." Next I contacted Beelink. No support in North America, just a phone number or email in China. I received a link to a youtube video without sound and a download link to some software. I was supposed to install this on a (huge) USB stick, insert the stick in the device and then reboot the device. No response from the device (probably because the USB port was not powered anymore). Anyway, long story short, the final response from Support was contact the seller (which is Beelink btw): "Helllo , friend , Sorry, the problem has not been solved. It is recommended to contact the seller to repair or replace a new machine" I contacted Amazon and they refunded me the purchase price pro-rated. Final note: Problem with Amazon product reviews is that this review will likely not warn future buyers as this specific model is no longer in stock. My review will not show on the new models?!

I purchased (5) of these and they shipped with Windows 10 Pro. It was a perfect solution, so I budgeted to purchase 50 more. The next order of the same product came Windows 10 home. When I contacted Beelink they were less than helpfel. In the meantime, 2 of the 5 devices failed. Beelink has refused to honor the warranty.

Worked well for just over a month. Take heed of all reviews stating this product will simply stop turning on. That is exactly what happened. All attempts at troubleshooting have not worked. This includes holding the power button for an extended amount of time, leaving it unplugged for a time, and using the reset button for various amounts of time. The power indicator light no longer turns on and there is no indication that the device is working at all anymore. I verified the A/C adapter still delivers electricity using a multi-meter. I am now past the return/product support window so all this company did was take my $200 and received nothing in return.

Purchased this item about a week ago. It really lives up to everything I expected: compact, durable in appearance and apparent construction (but thats only a week in, so well have to give durability time), reasonably fast. A few notes for others considering this, though: 1) updating Windows is an excruciatingly long process. It took a full day, with many processes/updates taking several hours to complete. When you see those "Dont turn off" and "updating Windows" type messages, just wait. Itll get done, but it might take a LONG time. When all apparent/listed updates were complete, I removed "previous versions" of Windows (perhaps prematurely, but so far its working fine), and that spared up maybe 30G off the drive, which is a LOT for this little box. 2) the USB ports all appear to be USB-3 (blue). Several of my USB-2 type devices (e.g., speaker/sound device, wireless keyboard (not bluetooth), etc.) didnt work. Some were good (e.g., flash drive), some not (e.g., speaker). I put a "Sabrent 4-Port USB 2.0 [90°/180° Degree Rotatable] (HB-UMN4)" on the port and then those devices connected just fine. Apparently that "stepped down" the USB-3 to USB-2, along with providing 3 more USB ports. This hub worked great; enough power was output through this little hub to still drive the speakers fairly well. $6 work around; no problem. 3) The specs appear to call out 1Gb ethernet and 5Ghz wifi, but neither of those are working for me. My router handles megabit ethernet and 5Ghz just fine on other devices, but this is strictly 100Mb ethernet and 2.4Ghz wifi. Not enough of a problem for me to downgrade my rating, though. Hooked up dual monitors, no problem. Worked great. Hooked up to a TV, no problems - picture is 1920x1080 on my older TV, looks fine. Sound passing through HDMI works fine. Portable bluetooth keyboard and mouse are working fine. The whole kit fits in a very small carrying case, great for travel. Its not blindingly fast, but who could expect that? Its definitely faster than my other stick PC (a MeeGOPad T02), and the additional RAM and disk drive storage are great. Id considering opening it up and adding an SSD, but why bother? My uses are almost entirely Internet browsing, and I dont think a bigger/faster SSD would help with that. I did add 128M flash drive, and stage what few apps I have installed on that (plus a ton of music),but basically I intend to leave it pretty bare bones and use it as an easy-to-carry full fledged PC for traveling, hooking up to TVs in hotels, and as a back-up to my desktop PC at home. Set these up for remote access to various network and telephony equipment. Had used Intel NUCs previously and started using the AP34 and M1 devices instead. So far working great and no issues except they do not have a UEFI/BIOS option for if the power is lost to return to previous state or always power on. Minor issue not worth knocking off a star for. They do have some advantage over the NUCs... Windows 10 preinstalled, 64GB internal storage (32GB on NUC) and half the height.

I received the product in a timely matter I was amazed how to small this computer was and also how responsive it was let me correct that how responsive it is. Outside of the regular Microsoft huge updates it is very very snappy the 64 gigabytes of EMMC is certainly sufficient and the 4 gigabytes of ram is also good.Microsoft cumulative update 1709 took 6 tries and 2 disc cleanup option (it wasnt short on space with over 20 gigs left) entire day, finally i did windows update repair tool from Microsoft and that did it. I am very happy with the computer, very satisfied with the speed and the temperature of the fanless PC it performs wonderfully its acting as FTP and SMB a media server - dishes out files to other computers over Kodi it acts as a television recording service I have 3 HD channels recording (PVR) with nextPVR at once with the server duties and my needs as email/browsing machine. doing all that it mostly remains under one gigahertz freq. with about 30% of load on the CPU when it comes to playing audio video files it handles 1080 P and 4 K files without any problem whatsoever with nearly all of the work done in GPU. its Velcro-ed (along with its companion 2 & 4 tb hdds over USB 3.0) on the backside of my TV and barely ever gets warm. Adjust your expectations accordingly and you will be very happy with what this computer can do. I purchased 3 Beelink mini PCs before And trust me when I say 2 gigabytes of ram and 32 gigs of EMMC is not sufficient same CPU different storage options totally different computer The 2 gig 32gb EMMC R incredibly slow face major issues installing the 1709 update do yourself a favor spend extra $30 and you will not see those issues.

So far this little box has been good... Its not perfect but it works as long as I remember to set the clock EVERY TIME I USE IT! If I shut down and boot it up 3 days later, the date is 3 days off. Beelink customer service told me the battery probably is dead and needs to be replaced... On a device I just received. I asked where I get a battery and they were no help. Its not like you just walk into Walmart for this Yellow battery with a clip and wires. Looks like a nickel wrapped in yellow heatshrink from the tech support pictures. If this is the only problem Ill have... I would buy another one. I can live with this terrible annoyance as I only use this machine for a special purpose a few times a week.

Honestly I was impressed with this little computer for a while. It seemed to run pretty snappy for what it was and it was very small so it fit nicely where I wanted it. The only problem is that it will randomly lock up and it is still happening after a Windows rebuild and upgrade. I cant find what is failing and Im not really using it too hard (I dont think I am at least). If it was more reliable, Id feel this would be a 5 star device, but if its not reliable, its just a piece of garbage in my opinion.

Have built many computers and am a graduate EE/CS engineer and I have to say, this little thing was the easiest to set up (easier than the new smart TVs). Bought it for my wife who doesnt want to see any cables, etc. Basically sets itself up to the extent I would recommend to someone who doesnt know anything about computers. Comes with two hdmi cables and a bracket for hanging the system on the back of a monitor (which is just great since that is what you want to do since its very small and light). Came with Windows 10 home which is OK. Performance is fine for web surfing and Office use which describes 99% of people. I am going to benchmakr it against the other ten computers I have just for curiosity (people giv me their old computers and laptop when they buy a new one which they dont need). No fan, so very quiet however it can get a little warm which is to be expected. There are two ventilation vents on the sides and I plan to mount a little squirrel cage type fan on one side to suck cool air across the board. This is easy to do especially since the unit just runs on a common 12v wall wart like the type used by external hard drives. No special plug or anything so easy to tap into to power the fan. Could also pick off 5 volts from one of the four usb ports (only one usb 3). Fan likely not needed but no real downside since the fan will add no real noise. The fan will likely run on 5 volts and any air movement is a big improvement or none. I have also found that the cheap fans that might be included often burn out without you knowing about causing the units to overheat and die (yes, the bios is supposed to alert on over temp sensing,but I wouldnt count on it).. Some have complained about bad batteries but simple to replace and have not found that yet. Have set it up and added needed application software but well seen if any problems down the road. The SD card slot is handy for adding inexpensive additional storage (although will be slow and not really an addition to the 64G. More like a small external drive which is fine). Great value and ones expectations have to be in line with the price. Just keep an eye on the heat. Dont block the air vents (top vents would be better but too easy to block them with papers etc.

A couple of my friends had asked me to set up an HTPC (Home theater PC) at their apartment to run Plex and a few other applications such as PiHole + Unbound. I was originally looking into Intel NUC boxes but they were a bit too expensive for the budget and I ended up purchasing this latest Beelink J45 instead. Dont be fooled by this unassuming black box! It runs Intel quad-core Apollo Lake Pentium J4205 microprocessor @1.5GHz with burst speeds up to 2.6GHz (just 10W TDP!) with Intel 505 on board graphics capable of 4K @30Hz via dual HDMI ports. It also has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM at 2133MHz that makes multitasking a breeze. Other features include gigabit LAN port, dual-band Wifi and BT 4.0 (a bit old I know, sadly). It comes with an activated installation of Windows 10 Home but I ended up running LUBUNTU which is a light weight distribution of Ubuntu 18.04. Getting into BIOS is done through F7 key in case you didnt know. If you find the on board storage limiting, it supports mSATA and 2.5in 7mm SSDs/HDDs. When everything is up and running including Plex server with 1000+ tv shows and movies, PiHole + Unbound, the core temp hovers around ~45C which is great in my opinion, considering how quiet this really is. I would imagine running Windows could be a bit more taxing but shouldnt cause any problems.
