Very happy with this pc.great design and very upgradable. It performs better than I expected for the specs and the price. I would buy again at the drop of a hat. I installed a 256gb m2 hard drive for about $50 and got a usb c hub and I am good to go. I also added a keyboard mouse combo because the remote is just,ok. While the 8gb model would pack more power, the 4gb is fine for what I am using this pc for. I am not much of a gamer so 4gb are more than enough. If you game a lot I recommend you get the 8gb model. For music, video watching, and lite office work this is more than enough pc.

The Azulle Byte3 could have been a homerun fanless PC, but instead, it has been my most frustrating PC experience since Windows 95. Its by no means a powerhouse computer and will do basic PC tasks well- I bought it to stake cryptocurrency. It has all the ports you need, USB 3, USB C, HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, M.2/SSD expansion and an SD slot. Heres the problem. Windows 10 Pro cannot operate on a 32GB drive. Let me repeat that WINDOWS 10 PRO CANNOT OPERATE ON A 32GB DRIVE! Anyone that tells you that it can is either foolishly optimistic or trying to sell you something. One Windows Update, one Windows Rollback, one security update, or one temp file, and your are shutdown. Youll spend insane amounts of time searching for any bit bloatware or unessential program to uninstall just to save a 100 MB, and thats out of the box before you install your software. The Byte3 should come with a 64GB drive at the bare minimum- even if it cost a bit more. Or Azulle should have dumped the VGA port or a few USB ports to make up the price difference. The solution is to install an M.2 or SSD and clone the boot drive. It sounds simple on paper, and it should be a quick process, but for whatever reason, it was not for me. If you are an average PC user (clearly the target demographic), then stay away from this machine. If you are an advanced user that is comfortable installing hardware, cloning drives, and editing BIOS then, by all means, go for it. Azulle tech-support was helpful but the whole problem could be avoided by making a computer with the bare minimum of specs required.

Bought this to build a kodi media server for vacation/business trips. Can fit 15 mm high 2.5" SATA HDD (seagate, 120 US$, stripped from USB enclosure), even though its clearly only intended to support 9mm SATA HDD (<= 2TB). Needed to remove the M.2 cooling bracket and glue instead of screw HDD to bottom plate (holes not in correct location). Provided strip works well for this. Have not found another PC of similar size to fit 15mm HDD at all. Included Win10 only left 9 GB free on built in 32GB flash after latest Win10 update. Win 10 pro licensing working fine also after update. Installed 120GB M.2 SSD and copied Windows to it (from linux with Clonezilla). Works fine, lots of space available, probably also faster than internal 32GB flash. Gets fairly warm, especially HDD when copying, but never crashed on me. Power supply very compact, but manages to power both internal M.2 SSD, internal 2.5" and external USB 2.5" HDD and copying between them without crash. Nice. Ca. 120 MByte/sec transfer speed. Linux (Debian) also running fine (dual boot). Not tried wifi yet or gaming. Negatives: The IR remote is a waste because it does not have enough keys to run kodi well and i have not been able to figure out ways to map keys or use another remote on the built-in IR port. So i need to waste the USB 2.0 port for another remote. Given how it has space for 15mm HDD, its a shame that its not set up to officially support them. 8GB memory option overpriced, 64GB flash option overpriced too, but not relevant IMHO, at least not as long as flash is rock bottom priced (120 GB M.2 SSD ~ 35 US$).

Best, fastest mini-PC for under $200. I originally ordered the Z83-F for $180 with the x5-Z8350 but this is at least twice as fast. It is perfect for productivity with email, Microsoft office, web browsing, and multitasking. Mine actually shipped with the J3455 processor instead of the N3450 processor, but both are much faster than the x5-Z8350 processor. PC is super quiet and I love the fanless design. The four USB ports are useful and it even has a USB C port! The footprint is as small as it gets. I keep the antenna down to make it lower profile and it works great. Would purchase again.

Well, Im fairly impressed by the performance for the cost and size of this little box. The biggest disappointment was that the 120GB M.2 SSD that I bought and installed didnt work. I got the flashing blue/red power light. After I uninstalled it, it booted up just fine. I tried reinstalling it again after Windows was setup, but no dice. I ordered a SATA 2.5" SSD to replace it. Hopefully, it will work okay. I think the internal SSD is a bit slow in comparison to other SSDs. Other than that, the overall performance is quite good. I was tempted to buy a Chrome Box instead, but I really needed to be able to run some specialized music/recording software. I also like to play a little Minecraft occasionally. Surprisingly, it actually plays the game fairly respectably. Update: Purchased and installed a 120GB SATA SDD its working well. Downloaded the Windows Media Creation Tool, and used it to create a bootable USB flash drive. Then, I reinstalled Windows on the new drive. Make sure you create a Microsoft account, and link your digital Windows 10 Pro license before you try this.

Good: you can install Kodi and it will work well for streaming. Has a IR remote so no need to fuss with Wake on Lan etc. Bad: windows pro cannot be freshly installed in this machine. If you use a Windows user name it will be locked at the main screen Everytime you log in. This cannot be remove even with registry edits. IR remote must be pretty much dead in center of line of sight to work. Ugly: square black box , bad countersunk screws that get easily stripped. Do not remove the screws in middle since they are for heat sink actually. HAL like red light when powered off glares all night long no way to turn it down like other products like Google WiFi.

I dont know where to begin. I bought a Byte3 Mini from Azulle through Amazon. When I booted it up, it contained another womans information. I had her Microsoft Outlook, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Gmail right in front of me when I turned it on. A complete breach of privacy! With my limited technical skills, I tried to reset the PC using the Microsoft Windows tools, but the previous owner had made so many changes and filled up every last bit of memory that I couldnt get it to work. When I reached out to Azulle, they were completely indifferent. Rather than acknowledging their mistake and simply swapping it out for a different one, I spent hours trying to follow their directions, which included downloading media from Azulles FTP, buying a USB drive from Best Buy, working within the BIOS, etc. After hours and hours, I gave up and requested a refund. I have since returned the device, and now they are arguing with me about the $7.50 shipping that I paid when I bought it. They refuse to refund it. Horrible company.

If you are looking for a compact and quiet Windows PC at a very attractive price, you should consider the Byte3 as long as you are realistic about what a system with these specs can accomplish. My application is a home theater PC (HTPC) front end, mostly to watch web-based content which isnt available on the Roku platform. My main criteria were size, noise, price and adequate performance for the task. The Byte3 is doing the job so far, but my experience hasnt been totally smooth. The negatives: - There is virtually no useful documentation of any kind, in the box or on the web. The attractively-printed "quick-start guide" basically says hook it up to your TV and turn it on - thats all the information given. - It has problems with display detection, the worst of which is dropping the HDMI output during Windows startup. Unplugging/re-plugging the HDMI cable after Windows has booted fixed it for me, but it is pretty annoying. - I have yet to make the "simple remote" that ships with it actually do anything. The positives: - Customer support is pretty responsive and helpful, which is important given the poor documentation. Azulle seems to be an actual company with a physical US presence, not an offshore phantom that ships product direct form the contract factory and can never be contacted thereafter. - The product is small, light and quiet as advertised. I find the generated heat to be acceptable, its normal for fanless boxes to get hot.

Pro: win 10 pro , fan less , SSD , small, comes with the needed wires and internal holster for expansion SSD. Con: only 32gd non swappable, making it complicated when installing programs to second (add on) drive. I got this for my secretary , when installing programs on the second drive that I added (OS is on C: the added SSD is D:) programs like outlook and Photoshop need to be re directed to work off the D drive its makes a mess of things. Gets hot . Really hot . Great for store display screen that you need to RDP or run browser Base info.

Well...here it is a year and a half later.took me awhile to get to this one. First off,its not a gaming /video editing pc...forget any illusions of that. Second, get an internal ssd for it(put a terabyte in mine)and dl windows onto a flash drive, then boot from the flash drive and load it onto the ssd so thats your boot drive(youll thank me for this info) otherwise windows will eat all 32 of the included memory and youll be miserable. Now to the good stuff...for what it is this little beauty is amazing.I mean really.it can be your media center, for browsing, kids schoolwork, just general use...4k tv?yep.it does it.streaming?yea its fast as your internet.tons of usb ports for external memory/devices .honestly I love it.what I dont like is how my vga port went out 6 months ago...but I use HDMI for the most part anyways.I mean its held up almost 2 years..in pc time thats forever anymore and is still just as fast as when I got it(and it is quick for general stuff/media) Yea these things have their downsides but in all honesty for what theyre geared for?they rock.its that simple. Want a powerhouse?build a gaming rig ..want something to do everyday computing tasks,be a media center, emulator(or all of the above?)..this is your guy.its silent.doesnt get hot,and you can mount it,or tuck it away easily.bottom line id buy again..but id go with the 8g ram version tbh..when it does bog down it seems thats where the issue lies,in the 4 gigs of ram.
