Apple iMac ME087LL/A 21.5-Inch Desktop ( VERSION) (Renewed)

I’m pretty much blown away this iMac! My parents were I. The market for a new desktop and wanted my help selecting one that would work for all of their needs. I wanted to move them from windows to iOS but didn’t want to break the bank doing it. I was a little hesitant to buy a refurbished one but at $900 I thought it was worth a try. Some of the wording in the description had me worried about there being possible scratches or scuffs but upon opening the box I was amazed. It came in the original iMac box and every component was completely sealed like as if it had just come from the factory. No scratches whatsoever and if you didn’t know it was refurbished you would never be able to tell. I’m going to be upgrading my desktop next year and will definitely be buying one of these for myself!

This iMac was a beat of a leap of faith for me, but I have bought refurbished tvs before with no issue. Never have I bought a refurbished iMac, but am also not willing to pay new prices either. This product arrived in the box shown, very non discrete I know, but it did arrive a head of schedule which was nice! Out of the box it included the 21.5" iMac with a wired keyboard and mouse. I wasnt expecting wireless because I knew the description posted for this item was incorrect as the specs didnt match the title of the amazon item for sale. On the plus side, it came with 16GB of RAM vs. the advertised 8GB which is a huge plus in my opinion. See sticker and screen shot in this review for proof! This iMac may be a 2013 model, but with its specs. of 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage running High Sierra (2nd newest iOS), you are truly set up for the future. For a little bit of your time you can also download the newest iOS (Mojave) for free!!! For 1/2 the price of a new iMac with lesser hardware specs, I fully expect this one to get my family a solid 5-7 years of use. My wife and I couldnt be happier with this purchase. Do not be afraid as it has been factory re-certified by Apples process. P.S. It is so cool to now have our iWatch, iPhone, iPad, and iMac all synced when it comes to: contacts, calendar, reminders, photos, etc. This really is a huge time saver when it comes to organizing and storing photos and files.

I like the way it was packaged. It was like unboxing a new Mac. I ordered the iMac with the 256GB SSD with 16GB RAM. I checked, and that’s what I got. Keyboard works. Mouse works. It also had that plastic cling on the screen which I got to peel away, which was fun. It took awhile to upgrade the OS to the latest High Sierra, but that seems to be a common Apple issue. I figured it out. It is running well. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thanks Amazon.

Worth every penny! I was a bit skeptical at first about purchasing a renewed iMac that was not inspected by Apple, but I am so glad I pulled the trigger and bought this computer. It arrived fast and had better specifications than listed, totally worth it! I have been wanting to buy an iMac for a very long time, but didn’t mainly due to the hefty new price tag of a new one. This computer performs like a brand new computer at half the cost of a new one.

The I Mac arrived on time. Everything is ok. Its fast and looks and works like new. Very well packaged. My only complaint is that the technical information announced that the hard drive was a fusion drive and the one I received is SATA. Anyway I am very satisfied with my purchase. Thanks

Loved the screen, very sharp clear image. Im not a programmer so I had a computer person set it up for me but they didnt have any problem. My other system was only running El Capitan so this one is much faster and has more options. Over all I am very happy with my computer so far. It needs a little tweaking but my computer guy will work that out.
