This is my first ever Mac computer. I purchased it for all that Apples are praised for in music recording and live performance. For what it does overall, Ive been happy with it. That said, what was advertised on the ad was a computer with "a fresh copy of Mojave installed." But instead it came loaded with High Sierra. There were complications in upgrading the OS, so I spent an afternoon and some time on the phone with Apple tech support to get the OS updated to Mojave. Second, the sound driver crashes. Other times (and this happens more frequently), I will be recording or listening to a playback of a song on, say, Garage band, and the program will stop suddenly and give me a "system overload" message. On top of that, the computer is a little slow. Many programs take forever to boot up. Buying used is always tricky. I wouldnt say this has been a complete bust, but product descriptions are important. Jury is still out on whether or not this was a good buy. Having never had a Mac, Ive nothing to compare it to. Nevertheless, 3 stars.
