Its a different concept for a PC and it does take a little bit to get used to it but once you do, it is amazing. Yes, if you have 4GB RAM, it is as slow as any other laptop with 4GB RAM. go for 8GB, big difference. As for the configuration without a keyboard, it is amazing and youll be used to it in no time. If you have 8GB RAM, you can use the windows voice to text software and talk to it without typing. It feels like a giant phone or i-pad but with an amazing giant screen, a full-capacity windows machine with a monster battery. You really can watch movies for about 4.5 hours before

I love this machine! So Far, so good! Windows once removed some software I added, but has not done so since. Its pretty fast and silent and I am getting used to Windows 10. I replaced an HP with Vista, so, a bit of a learning curve, but doing well with it.

Very nice unit, this all- in- one frees up a lot of room on my desk. Very bright and clear H.D. monitor. Getting use to O.S. win 10......well, that has been frustrating. In all fairness I was still using Vista....I know.... With all the extra hardware this unit comes with ... not a bad price $$. Do the comparisons and see for yourself. Ive been putting this computer through a long burn-in / run time and all is checking out so far. If anything goes "poof" Ill do a follow up. Two week run time and all is very well. Update: August 4 2017 computer is running fast and true, no problems to report. Very pleased with this Acer product.

Please dont buy this machine for the wrong purpose, because youll hate it. But if you know how to use it youll love it like we do. We take it to conferences to advertise our company and use it to maintain a contact list. Its perfect. Unlike a laptop the key board is wireless (comes with a Bluetooth radio), we keep it behind the counter, and this keeps the system running and out of mischievous hands. Windows easily rotates for standing it up, or laying it down. The system is designed to be used either way, and has pads to keep it from slipping. IT IS NOT a game machine. IT IS a low power Green Machine used for light office duty. (2015, Pentium N3700, 4 cores, CPU Mark: 1860, 4W/6W) One feature that I particular like is easy access to the inside. 10x Torx screws later and you can swap out the SODIMMs, the SATA drive, AND add a M2 drive (dual drive bays). The battery is a standard laptop battery sold on Amazon for $20+ and easily changed. Negatives: No standard VESA mount Screen is 17", but the front glass is 19". Lots of wasted border due to inefficient design. Not enough USB ports (If you use the included mouse and keyboard one USB port is taken up with the 2.4 GHz dongle.) Lastly, the machine is a 2015/2016 era $500 computer, and by 2019 standards its a $300 computer. It is my opinion the screen is keep the machine inflated, but its hard to replace so a few extra dollars are understandable.
