Fantastic Productivity and Gaming Device
I have never used a foldable device before and I have to say I am quite impressed. Every action and especially multitasking is fast, simple, reliable and there's definitely seamless actions across apps in my experience so far. I'm shocked how barely noticeable the crease is compared to older versions, and I hear the newer ones have gotten even better. I absolutely love my Fold5 for productivity AND for gaming and I'll be keeping an eye out for the announcement of the 7 to see if it's tempting enough to upgrade but for now I am completely happy. It's not my daily driver but rather my replacement for my previous competitor device as a tablet.

I love samsung but this fold... ???
The inner screen has cracked 2 times in new devices that were replaced... i don't think this is coincidental... i love the idea, and the phone's qualities are phenomenal especially the seamless action across apps! The Samsung galaxy tablet s9+ is great pairing with this phone. The large inner screen and the screen on the tablet lose very little imagery... I just wish the screen had been figured out completely... because now I not only have a broken phone again, but also my tolerance for foldables has dropped considerably...
I Love This Phone!
I love the seamless action over apps and how user friendly this phone is. The screen is amazing with beautiful quality, and audio eraser, easier to read, so so many features that help you do everything you can do on a laptop! This phone is the best and can hold so many games and no slowdowns...just an awesome phone!!
I Love My Galaxy Z Fold5, but...
I love this phone, as it allows for seamless integration across apps. It also has a larger viewing screen, along with motion sensor swiping for both pictures, and screen resizing. The HD screen itself, is also a great feature, crisp and clear. However, I am honestly surprised (and frustrated) by both the screen, and screen saver; which seem to have developed problems very early into it's use. This is a disappointment, & honestly one of the only problems that I've ever had with Samsung phones. As a lifelong Samsung user, I can confidently state that 'I love Samsung!' And, would appreciate these minor issues attended to in any upgraded models. Also, I can see that they have already successfully integrated AI into features such as screenshot capturing. This is a great new feature as well. In addition, this phone does have wonderful cameras, with excellent Samsung camera features. However, the one problem that I have with this feature is regarding the intermittent sensor picture capturing, when I hold up my hand. It often takes 3-4 times of trying, in order to recognize my gesture. This was also prior to any screen damage. So, ...I know that Samsung can deliver even better quality; as they are the best 'in that game.' This is part of what makes my experience with Samsung 'worth the wait for a new model.'
The future
Rarely do i pick up a device and really get the feeling I'm using something from the future. This phone is a mini computer packed into a sci-fi looking device. I get looks using this in public as it is definitely out of the norm. In a good way. Loving this thing.
Great but not perfect.
I replaced my Galaxy S21 with the Galaxy fold 5 recently. Although, there was a noticeable increase in processing time amongst other gains like memory, some aspects were compromised. The front screen landscape appears to not be as forgiving when it comes to speed texting. Especially, if you have larger fingers! I often find myself mis keying in characters. The rear cameras aren't as feature robust as on other current flagship models. I've been told this was due space limitations involved with the fold design. All in all, I would recommend purchasing the Fold 5 for now but, I believe future generations will prove to be more useful.
Awesome features
I love the big screen on this phone. The movies are sharp and clear. When I take pictures, the result and editing features are amazing. I use the AI feature on this phone like translation to another language as you speak. It's very easy to use. The map and other apps are very useful and easy to use. The split screen features makes my work a lot easier.
