its good! you get what you paid for
i actually like this camera a lot. it gives me the vibe i was looking for. i will admit is is pretty cheaply made, so i would be careful with it. however, you get what you paid for. we all paid $89 for this, so i don't think its fair to be mad when it isn't canon quality. mine works great, it is a little shaky when taking far away pictures, but close up was surprisingly nice quality! i will include some pictures of my cats.

Inaccurate Product Listing
This camera does not match the description in person that the online listing has. The listing describes the camera as having 8x optical zoom, which is even included in the product photo written on the lens. In person, the box shows that it is 3x optical zoom with 8x digital zoom. I found the same camera (as in Vivitar Ves529) on eBay in its box and the packaging clearly states 8x optical zoom, so it seems that the problem likely lies with Vivitar and not Target, but it’s really frustrating that they’d release a camera with the same model number and casing but change the tech specs right under the retailers’ noses. Incredibly misleading. Additionally, the online listing says the camera doesn’t come with a memory card. It actually does come with a memory card. It’s a micro-SD card inside an SD card adapter in the camera. For some reason, you can’t take the adaptor part out, which means you have to have a second adapter to put the micro-SD card inside to transfer photos to your computer. Have not tested the functionality of the camera we received yet, but I think it’s fair to rate this listing against the camera we were supposed to receive. It does not seem that Vivitar was charging more for this model when it was an 8x optical zoom than they are now that it’s only a 3x optical zoom, so it’s essentially a scam. Do not recommend.

Wonderful camera
Very easy and portable camera. Love the zoom features. I also think it’s a plus that the sd card is included and it makes a great starter kit for anyone looking for that nostalgic camera feeling for fun.

Great travel camera
If you love filmy vibes, or need a camera for travel - this is the best affordable option! I could write a book on how much I love this thing. This camera produces good quality pictures and overall gets the job done! The pictures come out pretty nice and give that exact smooth Pinterest digital camera picture.
