I wanted a small lightweight camera for an upcoming trip so I didn’t have to lug my heavy dslr camera and all its accouterments around with me. This ELPH 190 fits the bill perfectly. It’s small enough to fit in a pocket and I like the quality of the photos. I ordered 2 of them, (a blue one and a black one) for one of my sisters and myself, and we liked them so much we ordered another one (a red one) for our other sister the next day. We also had one day delivery which was great. My only (and it’s super minor) complaint is that the red one came with an extra beak-away wrist strap that wasn’t included with the black or blue cameras.

This was bought as a replacement for a Power Shot SD850 IS which I use for work photos. as a PI we need detailed photos for whatever job we have whether it is an auto accident, water damage, workers compensation scarring etc. Ive only had it for a week and it works better than the old one and the photos are much more detailed. I will use it for some long distance work such as tree limbs, upper stories etc but not for surveillance. Im happy with the purchase so far and glad I chose it over a competitors which was $400 but did offer under water protection.

I Bought this product to use at work for events and employee photos. The bundles comes with a lot of useful products but the storage bag is SO small! So I don’t have anywhere to store all the goodies that came with the bundle which is frustrating! I really liked the WIFi feature but it was such a pain to set up! I eventually got it to work and now have the photos directly sent to a drop box folder which is so much better than taking out the memory card and doing an upload that way. Also, the eagle stand that it comes with is absolutely useless! I was disappointed in that part of the bundle. I am by no means a professional photographer but i think navigating to settings is difficult and contains too many options! Photos turn out in good quality.

Recently my husband and I went on a once in a lifetime trip to Egypt. At the last moment, we decide that we should have a camera separate from our iPhone. Literally 5 days we read reviews and ordered 190 IS from Amazon. It arrived in 48 hours and I read and watched a couple of videos and off we went. It was so easy to use and I ended up taking to my surprise 1,000 photos over the 16 days. On returning home, the only problem I had was transferring the photos to my computer. I was unable to do the Wifi despite watching several videos and trying several times, so I did the usb direct transfer. We loved the photos. They are clear and captured exactly what I intended. Oh, one other thing, we loved the small size. I kept the camera in my jacket pocket and always had it with me, even when I didnt have my day bag. I took points off for the lack of clarity with the instructions and the photo quality was not as good compared to my husband iPhone X. But overall we are happy with the camera and would recommend it.

Love all the extras that comes with this camera. Like the fact that the bluetooth was very easy to connect to phone and how easy it is to share photos. The only down side to this camera is the screen is small.

Only downside is that the screen is very small so it is hard to see if the picture turned out. All of the pictures have turned out fine, its just nice to be able to see it on the camera at that moment.

I just bought this package in 2017, due to the fact that my old canons battery didnt work anymore. anyways, decided to invest in a newer version of canon, something simple because i use it for work purposes only; to take pictures of inspections and need something small that can fit in my back pocket and doesnt create attention from lookers as to why im taking pictures of the inspections. Anyways, i love the camera quality, and teh package that brings the extra battery pack, the adapter to transfer pictures, and the memory drive. its a great package and a good deal :)

It works really well as a easy camera (I dont have a smart phone and felt left out in the photography department). It fits right in my pocket and there is the rub. It is too easy to turn on and several times now Ive run down the battery because it accidentally got turned on in my pocket. That presents a pretty big issue for me. But it does take good photos.

I had high expectations for this camera based on other reviews; however, I encountered one huge problem. The view finder turns into a mirror under certain conditions. What those conditions are, I cant say as I couldnt find a pattern to the issue. Sometimes I would go to shoot a picture and couldnt see a single thing except my own reflection, while other times, i could see the target of my photo perfectly. On those occasions where the viewfinder turned into a mirror, all i could do is point and shoot and hope that I captured the photo. The other problem I encountered is that it is impossible to review all previous photos. Only the previous photo can be reviewed. For the price, I expected much, much better.

Very disappointed. I’m a DSLR veteran, so maybe my expectations were too high. The picture quality is terrible, and the colors don’t even approach natural. I’m sorry I bought it. My cell phone takes better pictures.
