This camera is a pure joy
I have only had the camera for couple of weeks but I thoroughly enjoyed using it. In my view the dynamic range of the sensor is superior to that of A7 IV, which I use and love. Unlike most A7C user's views, I actually like the smaller magnification of the viewfinder, because I ware glasses when using the cameras. Colours of the photographs is outstanding. The photographs taken at the Tate Modern gallery were taken with Sony EF 40/2.5 and the photographs taken outside were taken with Loxia lenses 35mm and 50mm. This is one of the most successful, of my many camera purchases during the past forty years.

Execwllent compact camera.
I am very pleased with the definition and colours of images taken with this camera. In the past I have mainly used medium format manual film cameras and relied on my phone for regular snaps. This is a new and exciting experience for me. So light and handy and lots of options to learn. The only criticising I have so far is that the usb charging adapter packed with the camera does not provide sufficient power to charge the camera or run it if turned on. Other wall plugs I have work so why would Sony send out a part that is not fit for use. I am waiting for the retailer to find a solution? Otherwise I am happy.

A7C Simply a class act in small body
I was looking for a while to replace my older, heavier dslr equipment and was attracted to Sony as a brand purely from reviews. I was looking at the A7iii but it was not much smaller than the kit I was using. Then a friend said I should look at the A7C as it is much smaller yet still full frame. Full frame is a must as I need all the resolution I can get so I bought one as a kit with the 28-60 kit lens. Other than the usual difficulties mastering the menu’s this camera is simply a revelation. Small, lightweight and simple bursting with all the hi end bells and whistles you can ever need. Obviously with such a small body some concessions have been made to things like custom buttons etc, but you can’t have it all and there really isn’t the perfect camera. Could do with a slightly bigger EVF and maybe a 2nd card slot but the image quality is simply awesome, and that is with the kit lens. The lens maybe feels a tad cheap but is edge to edge sharp with virtually no distortion. Obviously I will be buying some more glass, mainly primes and can’t wait to see how far I can push the resolution. I attach an image of a frosty bird feeder as an example of this lens and camera. Taken on a really dull morning. Don’t hesitate to grab one the best full frame cameras and see for yourself the improvements.

What a great little Full Frame A7c..... Love it!
I love my A7c. Compact, light weight, great picture results, nearly perfect. You can do everything with it. The perfect bridge between small APS-C and heavy Full Frame Cameras. I can just recommend that Camera!

A very good lightweight mirrorless camera
I wanted a good camera to take anywhere which was lightweight but capable of use with any of my other 5 E mount lenses - and this has lived up to expectation so far.

The Best Price / Performance!
I sold my Panasonic GH5 (bad focus) and Nikon D800E and now I use a7C and a7R4 and I'am fully satisfied in low light conditions and with high resolution - all for reasonable cost!

Excellent 4K Compact Camera
I upgraded from an A6500 which was good but the A7C is miles ahead. The fully articulating LCD makes filming a breeze, the screen is bright and clear even when filming in 4K. The battery life is so far very good, I’ve used the camera on a day shoot and didn’t have to change the battery out. The record button has been repositioned to the top of the body which is a welcome change, and the menu system, although very similar to the A6500 seems more organised and snappy to navigate. It’s nice to have the my menu function to allow a customised menu as well. The addition of another custom memory is good, I can now have 24, 60, 120fps shooting modes set up in memory for flexibility and there are plenty of custom buttons that can be assigned.
