Can’t get much better than this. Oooooh yeaaaah.... It’s 1.8 but gives bokeh like 1.2, trust me I also shoot with canon and use the 1.2L which is also incredible. But, I love this lens on A7 and eye autofocus. You nail it every single time.

Amazing lens. 1.8 aperture is VERY nice on this lens. Creamy bokeh. Quit hesitating and buy it. Your portraits will be awesome.

Outstanding! Images have Zeiss color signature, sharp! Beautiful bokeh, silent focus, makes my highly amateur pictures look professional. I can only imagine what a professional can do with this lens. Images have a 3D look! Highly recommend it, I cannot see a downside.

I expected a nice lens..but wow this is some real love put into the build quality. Image quality is great and I like a fixed focal length.

Do yourself a favor and buy this lens now if you have the money. Why? Because life is short. My GF and I broke up two weeks after I took this wonderful picture of her. The amount of detail this lens picks up is amazing. It picked up every color, every wrinkle, and every wisp of her hair. I swear I could even see all my emotions swirled into the bokeh - smooth and buttery, like what’s left of my broken heart. So if you care deeply for someone, love them with all you’ve got and capture them with this lens before it’s too late.

DOpe lens, everything is great! Except the size of the Lens Hood. The Lens hood is GIGANTIC and quite oversized, makes the lens bigger than it needs to, and makes it a bit harder to store and pack.

Perfect Prime lens, the size & weight are spot on, auto focus rocks, sharp as a tack. Had to YouTube to figure out how to reset from Meters to Feet & always on. Absolutely a Fantastic lens.

Outstanding, sharp and light weight. After using it, you dont feel you want to use another brand, unless of similar quality, like leica. But its expensive:(
