Used this lens extensively with a Sony A7M3 while in Japan for two weeks. The JPEGS straight out of the camera was vivid with perfect contrast looking as real as the beautiful Osaka countryside. The famous Zeiss look is real, with 3D dimensionality that just pops on the screen as well as on prints. Not a whole lot of editing is needed. If you need sharper prints, simply adjust your Sony A7M3 or others with the sharpness settings. I set mine to +2, why bother with Photoshop when you are on vacation. I highly recommend this Zeiss Batis 25mm F2. The AF is spot on as well, for those who care about autofocus.

I like everything about this product, it’s size, style of the lens, the look of it minimalist design the OLED screen is useful at very selelct times but I keep in on all the time just for the fun of it. The picture quality is amazing, I’m glad I sold my 16-35 F4 Zeiss for this bad boy on my A7RIII. Also the weather sealing of a Batis lens is excellent why wouldn’t you go for a lens with weather sealing it protects your lens and your camera from potential weather damage.

Lovely lens that produces superb images. Light and convenient to carry. Replaced my Sony 28mm with this lens and I am very happy with it.

I bought this primarily for the corner-to-corner sharpness. I am very pleased with the small size, light weight and the image quality of this FF, wide angle lens. Pricey, but oh so nice. I like the simple focus by wire design and OLED display for focal distance and depth of field.

Love this lens. Pretty much my go to lens since I enjoy shooting landscapes. Sharpness on this lens is incredible. Ive been using this lens for several months now and has been tested under harsh conditions (rain, winds, water, cold cold temperatures) on a recent trip. zero complaints and worth the money!!!

Just tested the batis 25mm f2 for decentering and the lens is perfect. Super sharp corner to corner even wide open. Great contrast and lovely colors. This ones a keeper!
