This is a great lens. I like taking pictures of wildlife and I spent 5X more on this lens than my kit lenses cost but got 100x more results. It focuses pretty fast and is very accurate, even it the woods where other lenses would hunt. Poor pictures from camera shake are no longer. Shots I have taken so far are clear and clean. Yes, I recommend.

The lens is sharp however very heavy ( I dont mind as the construction is solid). The seller was very professional and kind and made in time delivery. Overall happy with the lens and seller.

Wildlife. Great in high light situations. Kinda slow in low light but i can bump my iso up and still get usable shots. Im also only shooting with a t7i.

Nice sharp photos. Great for birding and other wildlife. Lighter than some other lenses. Can shoot hand held. Great for on the go photos.

I purchased this lens from another vendor to take photos of the local wild life (we have a hawk family in the neighborhood and a few other critters) of my kids at a distance that lets me hide the camera. My initial impression is that it is a fantastic lens. It’s not the same image quality as a $5000 equivalent from Canon or Nikon, but it is still fantastic. Pros: - The price – you can’t beat it for the focal range - It is significantly lighter than some of the competition (i.e. the Sigma 150-600 sport version) - The image stabilization is fantastic for a lens of this length (and price) - The focus, when you are already close to in focus, is really snappy - The focus motor is fairly quiet (it is moving a lot of glass – it can’t be silent) - The tripod collar is already configured for an Arca Swill tripod head Cons: - if you are way out of focus, the lens slowly gets closes in on the focus then snaps into focus - The lens hood is very thin and feels really cheap If this review was helpful to you, please click the "yes" button below - it helps Amazon (and those of us who write reviews) know if the information provided is of value to others.
