I previously bought one for my wife and fell in love with it so I bought one for myself. It’s a great lens, covering a wide spectrum of optics and distances. I don’t have to change my lens as often. For the money the quality of the pictures are great. Very little shake. Sturdy and reliable.

This is a decent and affordable superzoom lens. With all superzooms there will be compromise with image quality and this lens is no exception. It can be a little soft at 200mm, but overall I think its good for the money. Its light but has a solid feel to it. The size is nice and makes it easy to carry around all day. If you really need higher quality youll need to spend more and go with something like the 16-300mm, but if this lens is what your budget allows itll work nicely.

When is a zoom lens not a zoom lens? When you cant use the full focal length! I know there are drawbacks with zoom lenses but this produces no usable images at full zoom. Even in full light and playing with different aperture settings I did not produce one single acceptable image. Changing ISO....f/stop....shutter speed....nothing. So there is no point in getting a zoom lens if you, in fact, can not use the zoom. Pics in the 18mm-120mm range were usable if you did some sharpening in Lightroom. Everything became way to soft beyond that and Lightroom can only sharpen so much. Horrible chromatic aberrations at zoom as well. I wasnt expecting much....I bought this for my travel dslr. I have a small Canon Sl1 for travel when I dont want to carry my heavy DSLR....the kit lens that came with the SL1 camera takes way better photos. If I could, I would return it but the return window has closed. I opted for 3 stars because I will probably still use it for scenic shots.....just not at a focal length greater than 120mm.

I bought this lens for my Canon T3 and it woks perfectly. Its a great lens to carry for vacation to be able to cover a large scope. The 18-200mm range is very convenient. Im liking this lens, especially for the price.

Great general purpose lens. Got this so I would have to carry fewer lenses when hiking and the like. It is a great low-mid range lens. Now I pretty much just carry a spare battery and the camera.

You get what you paid for. After reading many reviews I expected this lens will be decent enough. However, after using for a few months, I am not that satisfied. It is difficult to focus especially on low light condition.

Great all purpose lens. The range from wide angle top telephoto covers all the bases so I only have to carry one lens. Tack sharp results.

This was a gift for my granddaughter. It seems to be well worth the money and works well. It is too soon to give it a long term review.
