On my Nikon D 500! Best lens I have used on there with Auto Focus and Vibration Control. Perfect for using with 4k video and auto focus in video works perfect in Live View. So impressed. Makes it seem like I have a FX camera on my DX with half the weight. Just fell back in love with my D500 and this lens. Awesome!

So far all I can say is wow. I have tired the Nikon 18-55 VC, 16-80 VC, and own the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX II and except for the 2.8f I love everything about the Tamron. The VC is VERY useful and the colors, CA, etc. are simply stunning. If youre shooting on a crop sensor this is the one for you. The only con would be the speed of the lens. A little too slow for Astro photography but I have the Tokina for that.

Very impressed with the overall quality of the build and workings. Very good control of fringing and distortion. You are bound to get some distortion at the widest angle (it is 10mm after all), but less than Ive seen from other lenses. Controls operate smoothly and VC is quite effective. Highly recommended.

Very good lens for the cost. Excellent resolution, contrast, and color rendition. Fast auto focus. Auto focus is fairly quiet. Vibration reduction slightly affects sharpness. Not necessary for this lens outdoors. Great for slower shutter speeds in low light. Build quality is excellent. Plastic is heavy and lens feels solid in hand and on camera. Highly recommend this ultra wide (15-36 on crop sensor camera)

Solid four stars. Instead of writing a long review I’ll just post some photos I took with my Tamron 10-24 wide angle lens. Somebody else mentioned in another review that it’s not for video - my videos are ‘choppy’ and I don’t yet know yet if it’s the way the lens communicates with the camera (firmware) or something else. Video isn’t a deal breaker for me so there’s that. I think it’s overall a good solid lens.

My camer is a Nikon D7200, FYI! Pretty dam good lens! Got it back after the 1st of the years and used it almost exclusively it was weird going back to my 18-55 kit. I used it 50/50 convention/ nature. Indoor works well with low light, not poor lighting, people mostly cosplay and costumes come out well. Not it’s intened design but crowded space I don’t need a lot of room to nab groups nor lager costume. Good group shoots as I can get 30 easy 90 (with a ladder) but I like if for the full body shots 2yds away. Some software lens correction is recommended but

I use this Tamron lens on Nikon D7200. Experimenting between expensive Nikon lenses and alternatives. This Tamron, in particular, gave me very bright colors (i did not expect) and very good AF sharpness. I am overall impressed (comparing with Sigmas F2.8 - 77mm ultra AF speed) and can tell that: A) Tamron is faster, B) Tamron is quieter. Definitely recommend.

I wish i never bought this lense. The aito focus doesnt set correctly have to manually focus it every time. My skies get noise. So disappointed. I am using it with a brand new Nikon D7500. I love my camera with every lense I use except this one. Its the first time I didnt buy Nikon lens and the last! Dont water your money not worth the price!

This is a hidden gem. This lens could not collect reviews because I think it is third party product and it is expensive. But comparatively this lens is well made in terms of overall build quality, image quality, functions (especially auto focus and image stabilization switches), the quality of image stabilization, focus ring, and adaptability with Nikon cameras (version after year 2016, such as Nikon D5500, D3400, D5600...). The image stabilization mechanism is one of the best. I was able to capture sharp picture at 1/5 shutter speed. This is a metal body lens with weather sealing, which is an added advantage. This lens also has a distance scale which could be useful for Nikon Kit lens users as Nikon Kit lenses are without distance scale and few quick switches (AF, VR). In the low light the lens perform very well due to image stabilization. Due to image stabilization, I someone could easily use slower shutter speeds to get sharp low light IQ. Overall I am impressed with this lens.
