I really tried to love this lens, but in the end, I ended up returning it. I wanted a "travel" lens without having to take too many lens with me and this I thought was it. Im not a professional photographer but I have both the 24-70mm and 70-200mm 2.8 and needed something in the middle as theyre both fairly heavy. The pros are that this lens is lightweight compared to the other two, but it wasnt as sharp and kept hunting while focusing. That just frustrated me, so most of my photos came out not as I expected them to. Kind of a bummer since I was in a once in a lifetime location. Now I take my 24-70 with me and thats now my travel lens. For the price of this lens I expected more and was disappointed.
