If you have an E-mount Sony camera and want an excellent lens that had good reach and will provide tack sharp images (if used correctly), this is your lens. This is a bit heavier than my Sony 70-300 (Which is also a great lens and now my backup), but worth the extra weight to get better reach. My only suggestions would be 1) Offer an all black lens - less conspicuous especially for nature photographers like me, 2) Offer a lock latch like the 70-300 (In addition to the tightening ring) to firmly tighten down the lens. I have found that the lens shows signs of creep when hiking even on the tightest setting. Other than these issues, It is a super lens and I am thrilled to have made this investment!

Loving this lens. I use a Sony Alpaha A7 Rii and this lens, combined with a teleconverter is a game changer for my photography. Very stable despite its weight.

Super Sharp lens. When I bought this lens O thought I wouldnt like it because of the slow aperture, but when I got it, I found out that I was wrong. This lens is sharper than all my lenses including 85 F1.4 GM, 90mm Macro, and 55 F1.8 Z.

Great clarity-easy to focus- used it with filter at full 400mm to get good pictures of the solar eclipse
