The adaptor works as advertised (except for the LED light that never lit up). My lenses focus fine, even on AF-C. Tried it on Canon EF 40mm, EF 75-300 mm and EF 50mm 1.8. All focus well, the later will do Eye Autofocus too. Best thing, the 75-300 benefits also from the body IBIS, so shooting at slow speeds handheld works much better than in my Canon body. Tried it in low light. Older lenses hunt a bit to focus, but the very recent 50mm 1.8 was very quick and spot on focus. My only caveat for the adaptor would be that to update Firmware you need a dock that has to be purchased separately. I would have been good to know that in advance. The rest of the free stuff in the pack look good enough and all arrived well packed and brand new. I still have a few EF-S lenses to try, but I wanted it mostly for the Full Frame lenses and they work better than expected. Update* I remove one star because of a design flaw. The adaptor has a port to update the firmware. This port is located on the right side of the adaptor and has a plastic cover. Both are located right next to the cameras grip in an already tight place. During use, your fingers will constantly be rubbing against the plastic that covers the port.

I was not expecting native level performance from this device but I was totally blown away. My Canon lenses adapt to my A7iii and perform like Sony lenses. In fact, my 70-200 is sharper on the Sony, and the autofocus beats the 85 1.4 GM. The sigma 35 performs identically to the native EF mount version, except for focusing noise, and even my unsupported Canon lenses work with full AF, including eye AF. At 249 this is a must have, but at the $149 sale price it’s a no brainer. Canon lenses are going for huge discounts now thanks to people going mirrorless. It’s a great time to acquire some stellar glass!

I got this primarily as a gift but the recipient reports it works like a charm on his Sony A6000 using a Canon 24-105 lens I loaned him. AF and IS work as expected but perhaps a bit slow compared to a native Canon body. He did however end up returning it as the A6000 body is quite small and once the adapter and Canon lens was mounted he found it too unwieldy to operate. My be better suited to a A7 Full Frame body with a grip to help offset the lens balance. Overall it was a great deal at the sale price of $149.

I just switched from Canon to Sony mirrorless. I had concerns about the switch due to all the Canon & Sigma glass I own. I decided it would be financially smarter to purchase the Sigma MC-11 and test my glass for myself. I’d rather lose $150.00 than lose several thousand in new glass. Tested all of my glass and they worked flawlessly. Tested: Sigma 85mm, 50mm, and 20mm (Art). Tested: Canon 100mm, 24-70Mll, 70-200Mll, and 100-400Mll. I didn’t even have to do and update. Glad I took the chance!!!! The Sony A7lll is incredible.

Great deal at the time I bought and a neccessity since I was switching to a Sony A7III. Before using make sure to check that its updated to the most recent firmware. Once I updated I tried several lenses including a Tamron 150-600 G2, a Sigma 150-60 C, and a Tokina SD 16-28 F2.8. The first two worked to expectations considering they arent native lenses to the Sony but I had issues with the Tokina regarding no AF. The photo was taken using the MC-11 with the Sigma lens. Shipping was fast and easy and it came in the manufacturers packaging.

Works well with my Canon prime 50MM lens and my Sigma 18mm-300mm lens. Doesnt work at all with a Canon Kit Lens, which is not a big deal since I never use the lens. And doesnt work with a Tokina wide angle Canon mount lens. Also not a deal breaker. Overall, for the money, a good deal. Focus Camera did a great job getting it to me on time. They seem like a great company to work with as Ive purchased things from them before and everything was always on time and as advertised.

Well made and functions as advertised, in general. One of the reasons I bought it, perhaps the main reason, was to use my Canon EF-S 55-250 lens on my Sony alpha 6000 body; however, the adapter/converter will not accept the Canon EF-S lens. This was not made clear in the description on Amazon. Im keeping it because my Sigma 18-300 Canon-mount lens fits it and works well with the alpha 6000 body, although that lens is mainly used with another camera. The auto focus works OK and there is no apparent vignetting.

The mc11 adapter I have found works well for most photography. You have 2 af modes afs and afc, eye af also works. Seems like my plastic fantastic is sharper on the sony then my 7d. The build quality feels good, and the adapter fits tight on the body. The one downside is sports shooting, you are limited to continuous low on the a7iii. For soccer its too slow. If you have canon lenses this adapter is a must.

Works well for me on the Sony A7 II with my Canon lenses. In the dim light, performance decreases, but it is still more than acceptable. Keep in mind that certain AF functionality is not supported with this adapter (e.g. eye focus etc.). Paid $149 during Christmas sale. A real value for money!

Exceeded my hopes. Auto focus works just fine with my Canon 16-35F4 EF, Canon 24-105F4 EF, Canon 70-200 F2.8 EF, Canon 50MM 1.8 EF on the Sony A7R III body. AFC with eye focus works fine.
